    Pineapple Curry

If you're looking for an excellent Asian Fusion Restaurant, this is the place for you. The food tasted fresh and the portions were a nice size. The Vietnamese Egg Rolls had a perfect crunch and the dipping sauce was perfect, not too much fish sauce. My Wife ordered the Mongolian Beef and it had the perfect Wok Hay flavor. I had the Pineapple Curry, and it was amazing, with lots of vegetables and the most delicious flavor. My favorite Thai Restaurant closed recently, and I haven't been able to find the perfect curry until now. I highly recommend this place, because you will not be disappointed!

All gone!!! That's how good it was.

Food and service were great! We had the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, crab rangoon, coconut shrimp, lo mein, and various sushi and sashimi rolls. All the food was amazing. The beef was a bit spongy, but the rest was amazing! Great, friendly service too! Don't miss this place.

Salmon plate. Includes nigiri, sashimi and rolls.

Growing up in LA and living in Hawaii, I am picky about sushi and sashimi. I would have never thought I'd find a gem in the heart of the South Valley! Absolutely fresh and delish (I did get up and look at the fish prior to ordering!) Pepper 1 also has Thai and Chinese food which is good since my husband does not eat sushi or sashimi. He had the General Tso and it was not the frozen pre breaded chicken like other restaurants, but fresh, light and crispy. He said it was one of the best he's ever had. Staff were great and service swift. Can't wait to go back!

I was recommended this place by a great friend. This place blew every Asian place out of the water. Service was incredible! I had one sushi roll (Dancing Dragon Roll) and it was so good I had to try another roll (Red Dragon Roll). Both amazing! My fiancé had the Kung Pao chicken and was also amazing! Will definitely be returning.

Best Asian food & definitely best sushi in Albuquerque! My family and I have been coming here weekly since they've opened and this family restaurant has quite literally treated us like FAMILY ever since!

Our waitress came over, took our drink order, and we ordered a couple of appetizers. We got the chicken spring rolls and chicken satay, both of which were gluten-free. I didn't try the chicken satay, but I had the spring rolls, and they were really good, nice and fresh. For our meals, I ordered the gluten-free drunken noodles. My daughter, who is also gluten-free, ordered the spicy fried rice gluten-free, and my son ordered the yellow curry gluten-free. My husband had the Tom Yum soup, and my daughter-in-law had the Massaman curry. All of the food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered! For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice, which was also really good! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely go back!

So zero on ambiance. However, the staff was really nice and our food was excellent!!! Maybe use door dash because this area is really scary! We went at noon and it still wasn't great!

With the menu board, it feels like fast food less sit down style. Service has changed as well. Now, you place your order and PAY at the counter and seat yourself. You are asked to tip before you receive service. tipping is supposed to be base on quality of service. You do receive table service once your food is ready. The menu has changed as well. We loved the jerky and sticky rice, now gone! Fish cakes is new but it was too chewy and dry with little flavor. Shrimp cocktail and dumplings were good. This was the only Thai restaurant in town that served good Thai rice noodle soup similar to pho. Sadly it's no longer the case. It was bland! Traditional beef soup included meatballs, now gone. They also charge ridiculous prices for some add-ons such as crushed peanuts $2.00 per order!! Really, for 2 ppl we could have bought a whole jar. Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. Sadly to say, it's off our list of favorite restaurant in town. Probably will not go back.

Disappointing first experience…read more Why would you call a customer and not leave a voicemail? For a first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, this was incredibly disappointing. My husband picked up an order that I had placed online. About 30 minutes after he picked it up, I noticed I had a missed call from the restaurant. The only voicemail left was essentially, "It's like a robot." Yes--that's the call screening...but why not leave an actual voicemail explaining why you were calling? Since I was still at work, I asked my husband to call the restaurant. We then learned that the main item we had paid for was never included in our order. I appreciate that you offered a refund for the missing item, but my husband specifically asked if the missing food could simply be delivered since it was the restaurant's mistake, and that request was declined. That was particularly frustrating. If the restaurant realized an item had been left out, why not clearly communicate that when calling? And if we hadn't noticed the missed call or followed up, would we ever have been notified about the missing item? Mistakes happen, but it's how a business handles those mistakes that makes a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, and instead of leaving us excited to order again, it left a very bitter taste. I hope this was an isolated incident, but better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference
