Very nice flavors in this Laotian-owned Thai place, although trending toward the milder side as folks have noted (the "Hot" we got today wasn't quite up to especially "NM Hot" - may try their "Thai Hot" level next time). A diverse menu with some fun choices. A _very_ welcoming hostess/server was managing the entire place while carrying on interesting conversations with several tables. And the place is nice - there's clearly been some real effort to decorate and make it feel other than a strip mall joint (nice soundscape as well, with birdsong layered atop regoinal vocal singing), and we thought this effort was a success. The food itself was very delicious and was reasonably priced. Mango curry had thinner liquid than expected, but it was SO delicious and it came with a good selection of veggies and good amount of meat (pork, in my case). The drunken noodles were tasty, as well. The money bags were as good as hoped-for but the sauce with them was a little treacly for my taste (there are commercial and house-made (yum!) hot sauces and peppers on the tables). The location of the strip mall where the restaurant sits is not good - you have to traverse the "International War Zone District" to get there and the shopping plaza had zombie-ish people roaming through the lot (and a car alarm blasting and not being shut off while we left) - but there is parking right in front of Eat My Thai Cuisine and you should have no problem keeping an eye on your ride while you eat. A very pleasant Sunday lunchtime experience (they're closed Saturdays, BTW) that my wife and I both appreciated and plan to repeat. H/T to Gil Garduño's blog posting yesterday for the heads-up.

This is my third visit in the last year( right after they opened was the first). My friend and i met around 11:30...more and more customers came while we were there. We shared mild drunken noodles with shrimp and veggie eggrolls. The food, service, and ambiance were all wonderful!!! The prices are reasonable. The seating is far enough apart for privacy. I will be back again!!!! I/ we highly recommend.

OK, we'll admit the name is a bit unusual, but the food and service is not. Simply great Thai food in central New Mexico. We've been going here for some time - the location is within sight of the Raymond G. Murphy Medical Center. Lots of interesting tchotchke inside but the real treat is the excellent food that you won't want to miss. Join the boys from the VA Creative Writing Group on YouTube - just click on this link. Excellent Thai food in a warm and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed the Pad Thai with chicken, the chicken satay as an appetizer, and the perfectly seasoned yellow curry. The waiter asked how we wanted each dish seasoned to our individual tastes. The curry was just perfect: lots of chicken, carrots and sweet onions. The prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly and helpful. A really great place for lunch or dinner.

Excessive amount of onions in the yellow curry. This is a 1/3 of what's still left.

I placed an order thru Uber eats. I ordered the papaya salad, yellow curry with chicken & a side of steamed rice. I was very disappointed with the packaging of the papaya salad. Why do restaurants put heavy & wet food in thin, cheap styrofoam containers. The container broke and all the dressing poured outside the container. Mind you, the dressing has fish sauce which stinks!! Restaurant owner, change your containers to plastic especially if it's heavy and wet. The yellow curry should be called yellow ONION curry. There is so much white onion in it - order without the onions. The flavor is mind, not too sweet. It was average. It comes with a side of steamed rice, which I wasn't aware of. The best part was the steamed rice. I wouldn't order or recommend this restaurant.

Tasty Thai! Did Togo but the money bags were soooo good. Drunken noddles very tasty, cucumber salad all hit the spot. Staff was very helpful. Ordered HOT and I love hot food, very happy I don't order Thai hot!

First time coming here. Suggest getting medium spice at a minimum. Food was great, service was fast! Very nice inside with some cool decorations. Absolutely will come back.

Do not miss this place! The Pad Thai is the freshest in town. The Pho has the richest broth. No joke, we would order just the broth if that were a thing. I am obsessed with the fried tofu and the steamed dumplings (shown here with the amazing brothy curry they are nestled in). We haven't been in, we order thru DoorDash and it arrives quickly and hot! Every time we order we get something new and have never been disappointed. And we're real New Mexicans , so go for hot and enjoy the pain!

Finally a Thai spot in the International District. There is certainly a lot of Vietnamese food so this is a nice change. Eat My Thai took over the spot of the old Asian Grill. It's in the radius of our work lunch places so it may be a new regular on our list. We visited on the Grand Opening so we actually go a 15% discount off our ticket. A nice little treat! We ordered a nice variety of things to try out. * Combo Appetizer - 5/5 * Pad Thai - 3.5/5 * Pork Ribs on Hot Plate - 4/5 * Larb Salad (Pork) - 3.5/5 (I ordered medium heat level, but it was not spicy) * Volcano Fried Rice - 5/5 (could use more siracha) * Thai Iced Tea - 4/5 (could use more ice) * Thai Iced Coffee - 4/5 (could use more ice) The drinks came in very large boot shaped cups which was a lot of fun. The portions were also quite generous which was very nice. I wanted the money bags, but there out, so that kind of hurt my feelings! I need to come back to have the Tom Yum and the money bags, then I'll think about dishing out the other two stars! Other than that, I love having a new asian food fare spot near me.

My new favorite Thai spot! The best Pad Thai in town, and they're open late for take out. I haven't had anything I didn't like, and they're always willing to make accommodations and substitutions with my weird intolerances of food.

I'm surprised by the good reviews. This was honestly some of the worse food I've ever had! I did order mild on a couple of dishes because I have found "medium" spice on Thai to be too much. Unfortunately, mild means no flavor at all! There was no spice/ heat on any of my food- very bland. No where in the menu does it say you get rice with your dishes. Typically, you do, but to be safe we ordered rice and ended up with 5 bowls of rice and the cost associated with it. I ordered Spicey Green Bean and they ask you to pick a meat or tofu or just veggies. So I ordered "just veggies" as we didn't want anything added. I ended up with a dish of mixed veggies and a dozen green beans. Green beans were hard, waxy and tasteless. We also ordered Beef and Broccoli and got a dish with meat filled with gristle and mixed veggies- very little broccoli. Last, we ordered the Green Curry and Chicken and asked for that to be medium spicey; it was okay. I hate picking apart a meal like this but it was JUST BAD. I had a credit $35 credit with Uber Eats and feel I just wasted it on this meal. I love Thai food and this was very disappointing. Typically I am use to a thicker sauce and more of a brown sauce on these orders and all looked like they were soaking in bland broth and nothing else. One star for the Uber Driver - the only good thing about this meal!

    Thai tea

So yummy Thai tea even came in a boot. Drunken noodles were divine. The restaurant is very clean and servers are kind and helpful. Definitely coming back.

The tiny pieces of duck I fished out of from the "Eat My Duck" (wok section) dish I ordered.

My mom ordered the 505 Cobb and they forgot her chicken which was frustrating after waiting for nearly an hour. However, they did make up for it by making her extra chicken! And their chicken was absolutely delicious!! I ordered Persephone's Lunch which was outstanding. I added chicken to it which made it nearly $20 for a bowl salad. I was dismayed to find Betty's closed suddenly, having let go by a year or more without dropping in, but Chancla does an admirable job of filling her shoes with crafty blends of ingredients and flavors for a unique menu of food and bevies. I had the elote benito (I think that was the name) that was a corncake-based bennie, simply divine, along with the maple french toast that was to DIE for. The cappuccino was exactly right, and though they'd run out of the hibiscus punch, the watermelon substitute fit the bill nicely. It wasn't cheap, but the price was certainly on par with what we've come to expect from crafty brunch places. ~$50. It's an order at the counter kind of place, so there's no formal table service, but they delivered the food (after a notable wait for the post-rush patronage, maybe 20 minutes or so), and came back around to bus some tables in time to hit them up for a to-go box. It is a bit stuffy inside, and the patio is not particularly airy - it's a coyote fence away from San Mateo traffic - so I wouldn't give it 5 stars on ambiance. But that's not always a deal breaker when the fare is legit, and the service is friendly.
