Okay for the closest Thai place to where Im living at the moment, the food is good. I love the spicy food they have mild, medium, hot and THAI HOT! The Thai Hot option actually made me get the sweats. I love it!! Inside the restaurant is Well Done. The atmosphere is really nice as the restaurant is decorated well. The only problem I would have is the prices are a little high for the portion sizes in my opinion. But even still, their prices are lower than a couple of the other Thai places in the area. Came for lunch and was pleasantly suprised with how great this place was. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions to their large menu. I got the gyoza for an app which were so good and cooked to perfection. For my main I got the Chicken Pad Thai with medium sauce; it was so good and packed with flavor. We have not gone to many Thai places and some friends told us about Eat My Thai. The location is quite convenient being in a strip mall near two hospitals, a gym, a seafood market, and EVGo chargers. The place is quite vibrant and spacious on the inside. Our server was very friendly and personable and helped us figure out if Thai hot was the right option. For our food, we ordered the pad Thai with beef (hot), mango curry (Thai hot), Thai fried rice (Thai hot), volcano fried rice (Thai hot). Our friends absolutely loved the Thai fried rice and volcano fried rice. They've been here before and noted how consistently goof their food is every time. The mango curry was sweet with a big kick that lingered on the tongue and a slight punch on the back of my throat. The pad Thai was a good portion with slim noodles and enough peanuts to give it texture and an earthy flavor. They've best was perfect for me. Overall, this was a nice first experience that may turn into multiple visits. The menu had many delicious options that we'd love to try, and with the flavors we found today, I bet we'll keep liking our future dinners. read more

Very nice flavors in this Laotian-owned Thai place, although trending toward the milder side as folks have noted (the "Hot" we got today wasn't quite up to especially "NM Hot" - may try their "Thai Hot" level next time). A diverse menu with some fun choices. A _very_ welcoming hostess/server was managing the entire place while carrying on interesting conversations with several tables. And the place is nice - there's clearly been some real effort to decorate and make it feel other than a strip mall joint (nice soundscape as well, with birdsong layered atop regoinal vocal singing), and we thought this effort was a success. The food itself was very delicious and was reasonably priced. Mango curry had thinner liquid than expected, but it was SO delicious and it came with a good selection of veggies and good amount of meat (pork, in my case). The drunken noodles were tasty, as well. The money bags were as good as hoped-for but the sauce with them was a little treacly for my taste (there are commercial and house-made (yum!) hot sauces and peppers on the tables). The location of the strip mall where the restaurant sits is not good - you have to traverse the "International War Zone District" to get there and the shopping plaza had zombie-ish people roaming through the lot (and a car alarm blasting and not being shut off while we left) - but there is parking right in front of Eat My Thai Cuisine and you should have no problem keeping an eye on your ride while you eat. A very pleasant Sunday lunchtime experience (they're closed Saturdays, BTW) that my wife and I both appreciated and plan to repeat. We ordered delivery from here and it was good, not great, Thai food. Probably a little more authentic than some I've had here. The portions on everything were huge and I still have leftovers in my fridge. The Pad Thai was good, sour and a little sweet. The Tom Yum was good but not excellent. I like it to have that puckery quality it can sometimes get. The Eat My Duck which is shredded Duck is good. With nice big pieces of duck amidst many veggies.. I'd stay away from the Mixed Veggies if you're ordering anything else with veggies because it's kind of just there. The big hit were the chicken wings. These are not what you're thinking. The are a whole, stretched out wing on a skewer that is grilled. The sauce comes one the side. These were excellent and look like something you'd get from a street vendor in Thailand. We ordered the third level of heat and it was too much for my wife who had requested it despite my warning. Where we used to live in the PNW, 3 stars was generally pretty mild. Here it was pretty hot. Not untolerable, but noticeable. I will try this place again, probably in person. read more

This is my third visit in the last year( right after they opened was the first). My friend and i met around 11:30...more and more customers came while we were there. We shared mild drunken noodles with shrimp and veggie eggrolls. The food, service, and ambiance were all wonderful!!! The prices are reasonable. The seating is far enough apart for privacy. Excellent Thai food in a warm and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed the Pad Thai with chicken, the chicken satay as an appetizer, and the perfectly seasoned yellow curry. Wow! The worst Thai food ever. The smell of the food was overwhelming and had to bring down to hotel trash. Smell lasted for hours. We ordered several items and the only thing we had was the soup. Why do restaurants put heavy & wet food in thin, cheap styrofoam containers. The container broke and all the dressing poured outside the container. Mind you, the dressing has fish sauce which stinks!! Restaurant owner, change your containers to plastic especially if it's heavy and wet. The yellow curry should be called yellow ONION curry. Portions are great, prices are cheap, but service sucks. It had been great in the past but my last visit... I was given the wrong food and I couldn't get anyone to correct it. Was still tasty but not what I wanted. Host was the server, made it known he didn't want to be there, and once the food was dropped off, I had a 20 minute break before a different person took over and brought the check. I'll probably go back at some point, only get to go, and refuse to accept the wrong food- it'll be easy as they can't disappear after bringing the food to the front like they can at a table. Do not miss this place! The Pad Thai is the freshest in town. The Pho has the richest broth. No joke, we would order just the broth if that were a thing. I am obsessed with the fried tofu and the steamed dumplings (shown here with the amazing brothy curry they are nestled in). We haven't been in, we order thru DoorDash and it arrives quickly and hot! Finally a Thai spot in the International District. There is certainly a lot of Vietnamese food so this is a nice change. Eat My Thai took over the spot of the old Asian Grill. It's in the radius of our work lunch places so it may be a new regular on our list. We visited on the Grand Opening so we actually go a 15% discount off our ticket. A nice little treat! We ordered a nice variety of things to try out. * Combo Appetizer - 5/5 * Pad Thai - 3.5/5 * Pork Ribs on Hot Plate - 4/5 * Larb Salad (Pork) - 3.5/5 (I ordered medium heat level, but it was not spicy) * Volcano Fried Rice - 5/5 (could use more siracha) * Thai Iced Tea - 4/5 (could use more ice) * Thai Iced Coffee - 4/5 (could use more ice) The drinks came in very large boot shaped cups which was a lot of fun. I'm surprised by the good reviews. This was honestly some of the worse food I've ever had! I did order mild on a couple of dishes because I have found "medium" spice on Thai to be too much. Unfortunately, mild means no flavor at all! There was no spice/ heat on any of my food- very bland. No where in the menu does it say you get rice with your dishes. Typically, you do, but to be safe we ordered rice and ended up with 5 bowls of rice and the cost associated with it. I ordered Spicey Green Bean and they ask you to pick a meat or tofu or just veggies. So I ordered "just veggies" as we didn't want anything added. I ended up with a dish of mixed veggies and a dozen green beans. Green beans were hard, waxy and tasteless. We also ordered Beef and Broccoli and got a dish with meat filled with gristle and mixed veggies- very little broccoli. Last, we ordered the Green Curry and Chicken and asked for that to be medium spicey; it was okay. I hate picking apart a meal like this but it was JUST BAD. I had a credit $35 credit with Uber Eats and feel I just wasted it on this meal. I love Thai food and this was very disappointing. Typically I am use to a thicker sauce and more of a brown sauce on these orders and all looked like they were soaking in bland broth and nothing else. The Tom Kha was not good. I ordered it Thai hot and it was warm like Tabasco so nothing to get excited about. The veggies were not fresh. Head cabbage cut from the base of the outer leaves in soggy chunks that were too big for my mouth; broccoli that was the color of an old worn out olive drab army uniform. The mushy tomatoes added nothing to this soup. I had to add fresh scallions, lime juice, sesame oil (it really needed help) and vinegar as the broth was quite lacking in flavor other than the heat. It wasn't an attractive soup, rather beige. The 32 oz of soup contained mostly plain boring American white cabbage, onions cut too big, 2 pieces of tomato, one piece of broccoli, 3 pieces of carrot and overcooked button mushrooms, no fresh Thai chili, not enough coconut milk or basil, and some other unappealing items. I was not provided fresh lime, Thai basil, or cilantro. I even tossed in some ramen noodles. Just blah with a bit of heat. I ended up discarding the cabbage and onions because there were just too many and too large. Many corners were cut when this was prepared...cheap produce and produce that was way past its prime; a cook with poor knife skills. It also looked like the soup had hung around the kitchen awhile as there was nothing crispy in it or fresh. Definitely not worth it. I especially didn't like it being packed in a polystyrene cup with a broken lid that leaked. Hot liquid in polystyrene foam is not a healthy combo. I really wanted to at least find this place passable, given that it is in the plaza where 999 is located and therefore where I do much of my shopping. No such luck. I'm sorry to report that this is the faintest ghost of Thai cooking. Everything was, to put it bluntly, pretty bad. Let's start with a standard: Pad Thai. Overcooked noodles, too sweet with barely any tamarind or lime, no dried shrimp (essential to this dish), no garlic chives (or "Chinese chives")--all stuff that is basic to this dish and that they sell right next door. The whole fried fish, one of my all time favorite dishes, had nothing to do with what this is supposed to be. It was overcooked, dry, and accompanied by a weird watery combo of vaguely Thai-ish red peppers and green beans. The real dish is a fish that is flaky and moist covered in a garlicky hot, paste of numerous ingredients that just make you want to keep digging in. I threw this whole mess away after a couple of bites. I was excited to see they had the stuffed chicken wings. These are a pain to make and though they were a relative staple of Thai restaurants thirty-forty years ago, they have largely been replaced by just plain old wings of one sort or another because of the labor involved. Again, sadly, these were pretty bland and overcooked. Here, this was all the sadder in that the labor had been put in to bone and stuff them. It was just the final product didn't live up to the hopes. The other appetizers are (that were in the combo) all equally bad--fried bits of various kinds of dough hiding fragments of pretty tasteless fillings of one sort or another. Don't bother. Anyway, as you can tell, I love Thai food, I know it well, and I found this place not even disappointing, but sad. So here is my suggestion to the owner(s) if they don't want to go out of business almost immediately (it was a Saturday night and aside from one big table, the place was empty at 7:30pm--not an a good sign): 1-Reduce the number of items on your menu. The ones I had were all bad. I can only imagine the other ones are as well. Perfect a few dishes and sell the crap out of those. Don't try to do Japanes/Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai. It makes no sense and the result shows just that. 2-Spend some time on youtube finding out how these various dishes are actually supposed to be made. There are dozens if not hundreds of people who will show you how to make these dishes right (you should be able to figure out pretty quickly what is authentic and what is not). Let me suggest, among many other sites (this one, not on youtube), https://hot-thai-kitchen.com/ She will guide you through every one of the dishes you have on the Thai part of your menu. Believe me, it's not the way you make them. And having made a number of her recipes, her results are awesome. 3-Once you have done the above and realized that it will take more work and might raise you food costs a bit, raise your prices a bit. If your food were good, they would be too low. Your food is not good, but that just means it's not worth any money at all. I threw most of the $75 worth of food I bought here out. Just not worth the wasted calories. I want to see this restaurant work (I want to see ALL restaurants work--it's no way to make a living), but you have to start by caring about what you are doing. From first impressions and reviews it seemed like it would be delicious. Ordered the chicken dumplings and received a cold order. Also got the veggie egg rolls I would give a 3/10 for being overly greasy and cold. Still haven't received our waters ordered after 10 minutes. Waitress came back and said she forgot my order and asked for our orders again. I said that I would pass on my order since my daughters was already in the kitchen.
