In my opinion the food wasn't that great. The chicken was dry and the guac tasted like the pre packaged kind. My family liked it though so I'm still giving it a 3. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is pretty big, counter service and open seating. read more

We walked in at an off hour so it wasn't busy, fact we were the only people there then. So service was quick. The food was good.. I knew it would be but it was difficult convincing people to give another try since our first visit was so bad. Everyone liked the food today and we already talked about what we'd try coming back next time. They owners like to decorate for the season and it's spacious enough for dancing. My husband wanted to share the cilantro sauce they put on the burrito is unique and delicious he thoroughly enjoyed his burrito. Great job guys we'll see you later :) read more

I was so very disappointed on the one and only visit. "Fusion" it is not. Very misleading. It's just your typical Mexican Restaurant. I ordered the Chile Relleno plate. I was extremely surprised to be asked if I wanted the sauce on top. When have you ever heard of Chile Rellenos being served "dry"? It cost extra for the sauce! Excuse me. The sauce is part of the dish! Honestly the restaurant would have been better off re-pricing the plate rather than charge extra for something that is part of the dish. Just for this reason I won't be going back. There are so many Mexican restaurants in the area, that having to pay extra for a typical Chile Relleno did not sit well with me. This is the second time we have gone here for lunch. My honey bunny got a couple of Carnitas street tacos and said they were excellent. They don't short you on meat or toppings. We both love the Salsa bar and free chips. I loved the green salsa, but then they had a red hot salsa and a mild Pico De Gallo. I mixed the hot one with the Pico for added flavor. Service was good, though there was a little bit of miscommunication. I had ordered a wet burrito, but it came dry. The young man apologized, had them fix my burrito, and didn't charge me. They seem to be still working on this place's ambiance. It's not set up as a typical Mexican restaurant; it has more of an industrial feel. But they do have karaoke on the weekend. I had the opportunity to have a nice dinner here. It's definitely a cut above your typical Mexican place. It's very spacious inside and well taken care of. It's counter service here, so you order at the counter, sit wherever you like, and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. The prices for most items here seemed a little high for a counter service type place. However, I ordered one of the daily specials, which was a chili relleno plate for $14.50, which I thought was a pretty good deal. It was a tremendous amount of food and quite good. The only thing that I found a little disappointing was that the chili relleno was not covered in a sauce, which is what I am typically accustomed to. Also, it was a little crusty and hard on one side, which was not good. The meal came with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, tortillas and a salad which was covered in a very tangy Mexican dressing. There was also a salsa bar with fresh tortilla chips, which you can help yourself to. I was completely stuffed and could not finish my meal. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. read more

Food is really good! We were able to do a little taste test of the carnitas, chicken, pastor, and asada and they were all so flavorful. Our favorite was either the asada or pastor. We ordered the pastor burrito and the asada nachos. They were both very large portions, and oh SO GOOD. The dining area is extremely spacious, and the salsa and chip bar is always a plus. Everyone who works there are very nice and welcoming, and seem to take pride in what they do and the food they make. It was refreshing! read more

This is a new restaurant I felt bad it wasn't very busy but the food was sure delicious. And they have a whole chip and salsa bar with three different types of salsa to choose from. Very nice staff, it's new very clean and lots of room. I love that they have free chips!!! I do believe they could do a better jobs with their salsas bar. I do not care for any of the salsas. The green one is good, but jus not my thing. Add a salsa that gos better with chips. The red salsa is a good start but too chunky and bland. To me. Their meats are top notch, good quality well cooked. (I've had most of them) Their tacos are good sized and really good. The reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because when you order a burrito the way it comes is with this cabbage slaw stuff that I believe is a 100% miss. It has no place in a burrito, maybe a fish or shrimp burrito, but even then NO! I order one to see if maybe I was missing something, no I am not. I know I can order it without it but I believe they should make it something you have to add on, and not have to ask to have it removed. IT JUST DOESN'T BELONG!! Well I will try to be nice Our combination plates were two small separate ones and everything was cold. We had to send the enchiladas back because the cheese wasn't melted. The place was busy and very under staffed. We also had to ask for forks. Twice. If you don't want any spice/heat in your food then you might like this place. Not a fan of the black walls. The food is really good and reasonably priced. The veggie burrito is awesome. The problem is that they have a woman working the counter who is not friendly and doesn't care. She can't speak English, which isn't a showstopper for me, but she doesn't even try. One of the few Mexican restaurants in our area with incredible food! Very affordable for the large portions they serve. And they use high quality ingredients. Unlike many other places, their carne asada is perfectly cut and has no fat. Salads use fresh ingredients. Chips are homemade and salsa bar is legit. Share the nachos! read more

This was my third visit at lunchtime. The Mexican food was OK, free chip and salsa bar with 3 types of salsas. The dinner menu looks great. Just don't order the hamburger #4. Basic hamburger building was not a skill of theirs. The bottom bun was soaked with grease (fell apart in my hands) and the meat itself was so overdone that I had to removed it. Could have thrown it and broken a window. The tomato already had signs of being old with wrinkled skin. Standard frozen fries. No flavor. No ambiance but the service was great. She was a little girl about 7 years old who never spoke a word, supervised by what appeared to be her father. Stick with the Mexican fusion or drive a bit further either way for almost a dozen better Mexican restaurants. Try Villa del Mar's fish taco (not Pismo pricing) or Taqueria El Guero for anything (food truck). read more
