Friendly service, reasonable prices, and excellent flavor combinations....a lovely spot for B'fast and lunch!

We only came here for the first time about a month ago, but this is now a new favorite brunch/lunch spot. My husband and I have been to both locations (the Corrales location three times and the Riverside location once) and while the food and service is great at both, we prefer the one in Corrales because of the overall atmosphere and the fact that it's a bit larger than the Riverside location. We live just about an equal distance between both locations, though. During lunch, they serve the full breakfast and lunch menus. I always seem to end up ordering breakfast because it's so good. The French toast is delicious, the quiche (they have different kinds depending on the day) is excellent, but my current favorite dish that I've ordered on my last two visits, including our most recent visit on our anniversary this past Saturday, is the Sloppy Jose. The carnitas are tender and juicy, and their red chile is the most flavorful I think I've had anywhere (it's not spicy which is fine with me as I don't like too much heat, but it tastes amazing). My husband likes the Heavenly Hash and the breakfast burrito with bacon. He also stated that he loves the coffee they serve (I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't comment on it). Also, the prices are reasonable, with most menu items being under $10.00, and the portions are substantial. We plan to come here a lot! read more

I came for lunch with my Mom, the prices are super fair and the service is fine. We got a portabella sandwich and the talapia quesadilla, they were edible and only cost $7 and $8. The next time I return here if I order the same sandwich again, I would request onions, and avocado to be added to give it more depth and flavor. I would recommend getting here before 11:30 when the big lunch rush hits also to ensure faster service and a table immediately. read more

Brought the family here and we were all happy. I had the salmon eggs benedict. The salmon was slightly overcooked however the egg's were not. The poached eggs in an egg's benedict are the star in my opinion, and if done right will carry the dish. The biscuit was properly toasted and still crispy without the sauce and egg soaking it and softening it-a tell tale sign of how fresh it is. The sauce was good and complemented the salmon perfectly. The wife had breakfast enchiladas which she loved, and the kids pancakes which they also loved. Total bill was around $40-45 which is on the cheaper side of what we pay when we out, so that was also a pleasant surprise. The patio was nice and clean, service was great. We were visiting from the East Coast and driving through Corrales on recommendation of a local named Gil, who mentioned Hannah & Nate's. We popped into this charming little cafe, apparently named after the owner's children, and one of two locations. We were treated by a friendly and great waitress named Brittany, who got our food really fast and checked on us often. We munched on tortilla chips and homemade salsa as sandwiches prepared. My friends enjoyed green chile stew, and the Nate's Melt with really good potato salad. My husband enjoyed his grilled cheese, and I was happy to have the half a Grande beef sandwich with a side of fresh ripe fruit. There is an unusually beautiful mural of flowers in the back room which makes it even lovelier. Brittany took great care of us, and if we lived here, we would be regulars! read more

An absolute gem, and I'm certainly not the only one who knows that, as they're always quite busy! Everything I've had here is delicious, but my favorite dish has to be the salmon eggs benedict. My only complaint is that sometimes the service can be really slow, but it's obvious the servers are just busy trying to accommodate everyone. Maybe a few more hands on deck couldn't hurt. What a treat. This small but tasty restaurant is the perfect place to eat. The food here absolutely delicious. I had the Sloppy Jose with green chili. The carnitas are fork tender. The carnitas are in a stew like mixture. With potatoes, broth, red peppers and onions. Very tasty with just the right amount of sloppiness. The green chili very hot. But not so hot to ruined the flavor. My wife order the Oatmeal. Even the oatmeal looks great with all the added goodies you can need. Hannah & Nate's is one of my favorite lunch spots in Albuquerque. If you're looking for wholesome, delicious food then you can't go wrong here. They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, etc. My favorites are probably the Wild Salmon Salad and the Steak Sandwich. My only complaint would be that the location seems too small for how popular it is. The atmosphere in the back of the building is also a little lacking - it's very stark in terms of decoration and the sounds from the kitchen echo in the tall ceilings. I would give a zero if i could. Husband and I took the day off and decided to try another local business for breakfast. We chose Hannah and Nate's because the reviews and pictures were amazing. We got to the restaurant and was seated promptly by the hostess, very nice girl, which immediately felt inviting. We were seated in the middle dining room. We waited at our table for 10 minutes proving enough time is busy- no one to stopped for our drink order. There were 3 servers that passed by at our nearby tables not making eye contact, or to welcome. The restaurant was not busy so we decided to leave since it was possibly a personal choice to not stop by our table. As we were walking out, our confirmation came when three servers were at the hostess stand standing and chatting. We love to give business to local places, but this restaurant we will never come back to. read more

After the Balloon Festival, we found Hannah and Nate's in the village of Corrales. Unlike some other restaurants nearby, the wait for Sunday brunch was relatively quick. We called ahead and waited maybe 5 minutes to get a seat. They have a huge menu of New Mexican foods. My friend got the sloppy Jose and I chose the breakfast quesadilla with a whole wheat tortilla. The sloppy Jose was my friend's favorite food item on our whole 4-day trip in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. My breakfast quesadilla was okay, with avocado and green chiles of course. My only complaint is that the tortilla was too crispy. Both were large portions so I had leftovers. New Mexican brunch isn't my cup of tea, but I loved this house-turned-cafe in this beautiful village. Going to eat breakfast in Corrales, NM is a nice ride through a quite little country town. You will enjoy the big cottonwoods and winding road. My favorite location to eat is in the open patio and dog friendly atmosphere. They serve both breakfast and lunch menu. Most dishes come with a side of fresh fruit. The only issue with this little business is they don't do anything for our Veterans on their special day. I was hoping for a small discount or even a free appetizer would have been nice. When visiting my parents for Balloon Fiesta, dad and I went to breakfast before a day of running around. Hanna and Nate's is in an old pueblo style house and serves a broad breakfast menu. I tired the Albuquerque Quesadilla, pretty much a breakfast burrito, but the tortilla is just folded instead of wrapped (or that was my interpretation of it). it came with a little side of fresh fruit and the quesadilla was good. it came with avocado, but there were only 2 small pieces in the ends of the tortilla. I'd like to give them another try and see if they something was more impressive, but saddly, vacation ended. Next time I am in the area, I would not be opposed to trying this place out again. read more

7 people just got breakfast and coffee for $65. We were sitting here talking about how much we enjoyed our meals when the bill arrived. As the one paying the bill that was the most pleasant part. I really liked my breakfast burrito (the carne something or another burrito) and thanks to great prices too I can honestly say I liked the whole experience. I also stole a bite of my son's french toast and Ican honestly say that it was great too. I really like this place, and so does just about everyone else in the area. It can be quite busy, and there will be a wait time for weekend brunch. In nice weather, the patio is the place to be. Food is fantastic. I'm pretty sure they do breakfast all day. I like the heavenly hash. Service is good. Why have I not reviewed this place until now? I've been going here for years and Hannah and Nate's is by far one of my favorite places to eat in the entire state. If I could rake them higher than a 5 I would, their salsa alone would be a 50 on a scale of 1 to 10! Favorite. Salsa. Ever. The consistency in their amazing menu is fantastic and I am never disappointed. It is a small establishment kind of tucked away in Corrales, but it is worth it I promise you. Also, because of the size and the location, going during peak hours (like sunday for brunch or holidays) it will definitely be awaits. Again, worth it. My favorite time to go is midday on a cool spring day and sit on their patio. The large cottonwood trees and flowers are in full bloom and the town is quite lively. You will also likely see people on horseback just walking down the street. It is a wonderful establishment that I recommend to everybody! (Although I kind of don't want to because I want to be selfish and keep it a secret and for myself, but I feel that everyone should experience the amazingness Hannah and Nate's has to offer!) read more
