Been to this location twice and I can confirm that the variety of menu options are impressive and H+N has great prices. The first time we had a forgetful server and it did impact the dining experience. The second time was great service and it improved our perception. Ordered traditional breakfast meals both times, which came out hot and delicious. The ambience is quaint and modern. Holy cow I can't believe I haven't reviewed Hannah and Nate's yet. Totally thought I did as me and my fiancé go there probably once a week for breakfast. This place has it all: small town charm, accommodating service, and delicious food. There is a ton of things of their menu that include carne adovada and I highly recommend including it in your meal. Im a regular fan of their red chili smothered burritos which take up an entire plate. I say again- MASSIVE BURRITOS The wait staff is always super friendly and will always make my meal different if I want to change something. (Add potatoes, split the burrito onto two plates, etc) on her birthday my fiancé received a free brownies the size of her face which was clearly homemade it was so good. Their big frothy lattes are the perfect meal compliment as well. Fantastic place to lay back and enjoy pizza with incredible music. We got Pizza and cheese bread which were both quite good. And although we didn't need it, we also got the Southwest style salad which was a delicious surprise and large enough for a meal. The crowning glory was the band : Will who I came to see on the drums together with Meron on bass, John on keyboards and the fantastic female vocalist with the serendipitous appearance of Ryan on the trumpet. Haven't been here for a year or so, last time the food was memorable. This time, not so much. The bkfst burrito w/ red chili was as basic as can be. If it wasn't for the side of bacon the plate would have seemed so naked. The wait staff were friendly enough and the dining area was clean and in order. When you're $20 in for a bkfst burrito you want to walk away with an inkling that something special has occurred. Instead I'm left thinking that the burrito was so skinny and the red chili seemed like it was intentionally rationed. I know that the food can be so much better here. I really want to give a better rating but this was my honest experience. I believe had I chosen a different menu option closer to my preferences things would have been different. Based on previous reviews, I went with the New Mexico style Bennie. I'll start with the positives; the meat was tender, juicy, and tasty. I'm sorry but, now the downside; the Bennie eggs were completely cooked through and lacked the runny yolk goodness I like about eggs Bennie. The English muffins were the consistency of mush. I can only guess they hadn't been toasted enough before being plated. The red 'country potatoes' were basically cubed boiled potatoes. I prefer a smaller size cut and crisp grilled. The grilled onions on top were nice but also lacked crispness. If I bit into one piece I had to commit to the full length as there was no chance of biting it off. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place better. It's an obvious local favorite that cares about what they serve. They just fell short, or my preferences didn't match, the meal I had. read more

This was a great start to our ABQ Adventure! My dad suggested we eat here before a Breaking Bad scavenger hunt of our own making and some hiking. We were not disappointed. It looks like it is in an interesting area with a couple other neat places nearby. It was cozy inside, with a kind of arty-cottage vibe. Eventually, and with our server's opinion, I opted for the Eggs Benedict de Nuevo Mexico. My fella got the Sloppy Jose...and I would say that my dish more resembled something called the Sloppy Jose....but daaaang was it tasty! There was SO MUCH carne adovada! Maybe a little too much...but it was delicious! And not so terribly spicy that this non-ABQan couldn't handle it. I think if I returned I would get the Sloppy Jose for myself though. The meat was wonderful! But really, there were so many other things on the menu I would also try at the drop of a hat! Overall, good food, unobtrusive but good service, great atmosphere. What a great way to spend my first breakfast in New Mexico! This place wasn't on the list of places to visit. My lovely's dad took us here for breakfast. There were so many things on the menu to choose from. It easily took me four times of looking over everything before I finally decided on my meal. From the outside, the building looks like most other buildings in New Mexico. On the inside, this restaurant reminded me of a diner inside of a cottage. The staff was nice. They seem to have service down to a science. The place is an average size and to be a Thursday morning, it was staffed appropriately. We didn't have to wait on anything. My meal? -- Sloppy "Jose" Carnitas, diced potatoes, caramelized onions, and cheddar cheese piled high and topped with 2 eggs. This also served with your choice of red chile, green chile, or tomatillo sauce. The question continually asked of me in Albuquerque was red or green. I'm sure that will be repeated in the coming weeks with all of my Abq reviews. This dish also came with two corn tortillas on the side. I didn't even need them. This was a total fork meal. Around half way through the meal, I realized that I was eating carnitas at 9:30 in the morning. Not that there's anything wrong with that... I normally eat pork(of the pulled or braised variety) around brunch/lunch/dinner time. The only miss was with the corn tortillas. One of them was hard(like it had set out for a while) while the other was perfect. I'm glad that I didn't need them but if you're expecting them, you might be disappointed. I didn't visit all the places I wanted to in New Mexico but I'm glad this was one of the unexpected destinations. I'd easily go back in a second. read more

Bottom Line: Well executed breakfast for reasonable price from very friendly staff. Excellent coffee!! Top Line: Companion & I dropped in early for breakfast. Parking lot was already mostly full, a good sign. Obviously a popular place. We both ordered a single biscuit eggs benedict Florentine & a cup of coffee (mine black, companion got little cream cups for hers). Coffee was flavorful in the extreme. A truly fine cuppa joe that maintained it's tasty impact to the end. Eggs Benedict were very good. There was a *lot* of steamed spinach under the poached egg and the hollandaise sauce was richly flavored. The accompanying hash browns were nicely crispy fried. There was also some fresh fruit that came with the meal. I appreciated the inclusion of the fruit. Only downer is that it was typical winter out of season condition, being somewhat under ripe solid and not very sweet in taste. Still I was glad it was there to help fill out the half order meal. Staff was quite friendly. They were greeting customers as they entered, conscientiously checking throughout the meal to insure all was well, and bid us a hearty farewell as we left. Premises are clean, albeit the brick interior is a bit rustic as this is someone's house that's been converted into an eatery. We found the dining room to be bright & full of light. Noise level was tolerable even when the room became well populated. Price was under $20 after tax for both meals, which is pretty much in line with other eateries in the area. But that's good value eating in my world, given how high the food ranked on the flavor index. So I'll again be winding my way up Corrales Rd to Hannah & Nates Market Cafe to indulge in a well prepared breakfast from some really nice folks. See you there. read more

Hannah and Nate's (H &N's) is the perfect breakfast stop. We hiked early for 5 miles above and around Corrales. Corrales offers the best hiking along the bosque. It was after 10am when we arrived at H & N's. It was crowded, but the wait was not too long. Service with a smile, brought out nice coffee and a very delicious "Nate's Melt" sandwich. Perfectly toasted bread with roast beef, green chile, red peppers and melted cheddar cheese. We "sided it" with a nice salad that had fresh greens and fruit.
