My brother and family came to my moms lake house up near Cedar Mountain 25 minutes south of Brevard. They heard about this Irish restaurant so we went. IT's about 20 miles one way. We all had a great meal together. I had their fish and chips. I liked it portions were small to me My Mom had been there before and thought my fish wasn't cooked enough. Could have been new oil. It was fine. I ate again later I think It's more a touristy thing

Absolutely like this place. They opened a years, still serve pretty good food, variety's of draft and bottle/cans beer. Sports translations. Friendly bartenders

Several Camping buddies are in the Pisgah Forest area. We try and pick a unique place to eat whenever we go to an area to camp. After chasing down some waterfalls today we decided to give Hannah Flanagan's Pub at try. We are all glad we did. The staff was great from our initial greeting to the service and when we left... Between the 5 of us ordered 3 different entrees. The two who ordered the Reuben and the 2 who ordered the Shepherd's Pie all took home part of the generous portions in our to-go boxes. The one of us who ordered the Fish and Chips - well, he can put down some food! Located in the downtown section the inside of the place kinda takes you over the pond to what an Irish Pub might look like. We all would suggest you give it a try - we don't think you'll be disappointed! PS - to me the best way to earth the Shepherd's Pie is to dumps it out into another plate to get all the good stuff mixed in together!

10-4-24 Friday night 10 pm Walked up the street from the Henderson Inn where we are staying. This was a fun place and everyone was so Southern warm and friendly. We ordered drinks and due to the Hurricane Helene internet was down so cash only. No worries I have lived through enough Hurricanes to know to always have cash. The bartender was amazing she was able to handle the crowds at the bar with ease. We met a lovely local couple as well as the owner. Definitely so down to earth. We could see ourselves coming back again the next time we are in town. Note hubby was happy they carried his Hendricks gin. The place had plenty of seating and we grabbed a table with our new friends. This place is a great addition to the Downtown Shops and Restaurants.

The food was so good! Irish dip with mashed potatoes! Fish and chips! Everything was delicious . I am a coleslaw snub and this coleslaw was #3 of my all time favorites!

Back again. I really love coming here whenever I'm in Hendo. Great Irish food, full bar and the friendliest staff in the area. And the best Cobb salad ever!!! Love the decor of this place. It's like walking into the past. Old photos on the wall and a wood floor that squeaks as you walk. Definitely a landmark icon in the Hendersonville.

    Coleslaw was fantastic

We came with friends to the Apple Festival and stopped in for lunch. They had a modified menu and we each tried something different, boneless wings, fish and chips, beefsteak sandwich and a traditional Reuben. Everything was fantastic. We'll definitely be back. Sorry we didn't take more pics.

In town enjoying the sights and weather. We looked for a spot to eat and one of the few open in January was this restaurant. There was plenty of seating. We sat and ordered some soup and sandwiches to feed our bellies and warm us up. The service was good and the food came out quickly, tasted great and was a generous portion. The French onion soup was absolutely great and we tasted the chili and it was amazing. Next time we went up to come in and have some adult beverages while we have our lunch.

    Crispy Onions were amazing!

Great food, great service, a traditional Irish dive bar. We got the crispy onions and 1/2 order of pot roast. The crispy onions (and ranch) were amazing--love the shoestring type of onions rings over the larger versions. Inhaled them. Pot roast was great too. Good amount of meat, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I would definitely come back here to try the other traditional Irish dishes (and to get the crispy onions again). Despite the great food, the place seemed to need at least one more waiter. Other than that, I look forward to eating there again.

Shepards pie. This absolutely rivals a Shepards pie from Ireland. Trust me. I've been there and this was chefs kiss!!

My daughter and I shared the burrata pizza, others had the caprese salad and hummus platter. That being said, we wanted a quieter setting. There was a band playing when we arrived but saw there was outside seating which was perfect because we enjoyed the music that was being played, but again, we wanted to talk. The porch was a perfect place to do both! The music was loud enough we could hear it but quiet enough that we had a wonderful time, drinking our wine/cocktails and hanging out. The inside was also super chill because it's dimly lit and there are two bar areas. If we lived closer, I could see my husband and I coming here often for a date spot or with friends! When we arrived, one of the staff members was helpful because we hadn't been here before so we weren't sure where to order. We went to the bar as instructed and ordered our drinks. My aunt and I both ordered a glass of wine--she had a sav. Blanc and I got the Prosecco. The guys ordered a dark and stormy, the hibiscus house cocktail, and a Manhattan. We all enjoyed our drinks thoroughly! If you are visiting the area, stop by!!

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. Ended up using the back of the booth for our water bottle and condiments and still struggled for space. Buffalo wings were good but not exactly Buffalo. No buttery spicy hot sauce. Cheese dip was also excellent but we (and the table next to us) had to ask for more chips. Not portioned terribly well. Beer options were very slim (2 on tap from what it gathered).
