The Chicken dish was very FISHY tasting, perhaps they used too much fish sauce? After requesting another dish, the "chef" made a point to refuse compensating the meal change. (The chef was dressed in a wife beater and also refused to come out and explain). I kept my comments to myself, but sadly I won't be back due to this poor experience. read more

We took the summer roll appetizer with satay sauce and each had a chicken and beef stir fry with a little garlic and lemongrass on a hot sizzler plate. Very satisfied after a recent visit here for a late lunch on a rainy Sunday. Overall the service was great, atmosphere was nice, warm, bright and clean surroundings. The beef pho was just right as was the vermicelli bowl and the Tom yum soup was HUGE but it was $10. I'll definitely be back. Was here once before it changed names and ownership and can't say it's very different thank the prices are lower now actually. Only issue was the Vietnamese coffee was not served French press style, and you couldn't control the milk or sweetness but it still had that great rich flavor. Also the bathroom doors need to be either washed or repainted- they look horribly dirty and it's off putting especially if you go before eating your meal. I didn't want to touch the doors. Wonderful experience here on a hot Saturday afternoon. Came in for some pho and banh mi and both were excellent. Hubby's pho was flavorful and nuanced. My grilled beef banh mi was succulent and had the perfect ratio of meat to pickled vegetables. Even our nephew loved his bowl of pho noodles! For the kids, they brough water in a plastic cup with a cover and straw. Nice, kid-friendly touch! Service was friendly, attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is clean and upbeat with TVs in each corner and plenty of sun streaming through the front windows. We will be back on our next trip through town! read more

Is it reassuring to find a 1" long dead cockroach in a restaurant bathroom (because it's dead) or disturbing (because it's in the restaurant to begin with)? I'm going to say the latter. Found that little surprise when hitting the rest room after my meal. We weren't too keen on the food to begin with so a return trip was already unlikely, but that just sealed the deal. Nope, not going back. The food was pretty ho-hum. We had the pho and a vermicelli bowl. Not bad, but neither tasted quite "right" - and I've had my fair share of Vietnamese food having spent a month in Vietnam and many a weekend eating my way down Washington Ave in Philly. The pho was HUGE I definitely didn't put a dent in it whatsoever. I also ordered the fried pork spring rolls and I did not care for them much. My friend ordered the crepe but asked for all shrimp instead of pork and shrimp, when it arrived, she opened it and it was literally like 1-2 small shrimp that had been cut into pieces and thrown in the crepe. We asked if that was normal or if we could have shrimp on side to put in and they said $5 extra!! NO THANKS. The server was very nice. Probably will not visit again. read more

So this is Ha Noi Pho style, northern state of Vietnam so expect the northern taste and cooking method of Pho and other dishes. Overall, not too bad and there are plenty of parking spaces. I stopped by one night after work. The restaurant was busy but I studied the menu and ordered 4 items could not make up my mind. The chicken soup was awesome just like my friend told me. Then I got a chargrilled chicken and rice dish fantastic. I also got rolls and they were the best I have ever eaten. The chicken with rice vermicelli was great as well. You add everything to the soup once you get home and it is so flavourful and fresh tasting. I saved some of each dish for dinner and lunch the next 2 days. You cannot go wrong by choosing this restaurant. It is your standard pho joint with a large menu full of their choices if you do not want pho. Staff is friendly and can point you in the right direction if you are unsure of what to get. Food is moderately priced and tastes great. I went to lunch with my dad on a rainy Friday here. It was quite busy with patrons and people getting takeout. There was a huge menu and a specials menu. They have a tv running with all the food and what number it is on the menu. Both our meals came out piping hot and a huge portion. Been eyeing up this place for awhile, finally decide to place a pickup order with door dash, 4 items, waited a half hour for them to confirm my order, called them about 10 times, sometimes it rang sometimes it didnt, finally decide to take a ride over and theyre closed. For years, We LOVED Hanoi's Pho.. .. We will not be going back. We were told " Do not order the beef. Order the pork, fresher" We knew that within five minutes the owners changed hands. We will not go back. We arrived at 8:15pm. Ordered promptly. As soon as our plates hit the table the kitchen staff left and the lights were turned off. (1) we said goodbye and thank you to the chef as he ran out of the kitchen (2) ummmmmm lights in kitchen turned off immediately..... no cleaning was completed in the kitchen at all. Our plates JUST hit the table. When we were done eating, we asked for dessert, Nope..... we are closed. No dessert. We close at 9pm. It was 845. I've been here several times, and I just had the best meal I've ever had here. It was the pork and shrimp with scallions in the Chef's special sauce. Delicious. The special sauce turned out to be a garlic barbecue sauce, and it went great with the pork. My companion (who grew up in Vietnam) had the shrimp and noodle soup and reports that it was very good. The portions were generous. I was stuffed after my meal, and the soup filled a huge bowl and included quite a few jumbo shrimp; more than my companion could eat. read more

I live in the area and I have never ordered from Saigon Harbor but I was curious to check out the food under the management. I have ordered take out twice now and the Food has been delicious and fresh both times. For apps we have tried the spring rolls (crispy and delicious) and the grilled beef in grape leaves (equally delicious). My husband got the pho deluxe both times and loved it. I got the deluxe vermicelli and I must say the chicken, pork, and shrimp were grilled perfectly. I would say that the flavors in their food are very authentic and comparable to what I would find on the city and it's nice to not have to drive that far for good Vietnamese food!
