We had a nice lunch here recently. The food was all really good, very similar to our usual place. My husband complained that the entrance area needed some cleaning and he wasn't wrong. The eating area seemed okay though and we had no other problems. I would go again sometime.

I love the bun Bo hue from this restaurant. Nice amount of spice. The noodles are also smaller than your usual BBH noodles. Large portions and the food is very fresh. The spring rolls are also tasty.

LOVED my Pho AND my appetizer! Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean! I would recommend this establishment.

Surprisingly decent Vietnamese food in the Havertown area. The broken rice dishes and pho were both good! Super comforting and flavorful dishes. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating. Service was friendly and attentive. Bathroom was pretty dirty which could use improvement. The other speciality entrees were not too noteworthy, but I do recommend a classic rice with grilled meat or pho from Hanoi's.

    Big bowl - bland

I love Vietnamese food and had the pleasure of attending dinners and parties at my Vietnamese friend's houses. Pho, I hear, is not a fast and simple to make and like Italian gravy it can vary in taste based on the ingredients and how it's made. Ordered well done flank pho. The rice noodles were thicker and not soft - I'm use to soft thin noodles and the meat was randomly sliced thick vs very thin sliced . Unfortunately the meat was chewy and tough and should belong in a stir fry. Broth had a greasy layer on top and tasted greasy and bland. Noodles were hard and chewy. After a few bites , unfortunately I stopped eating and as much I hate to waste food - no doggy bag. Maybe I'm missing something- like this is the style of cooking but not my style.

What an unsatisfying and dry vermicelli. The grilled pork was too overcooked and even lacked flavor. Such a disappointing meal!

I was missing home cooked meals and decided to try the place out after a friend suggested it. Legit pho place and taken me by surprise considering it's in Delco. The pho is comparable to places in Philly. I recommend coming here. I also ordered a clay pot fish dish, which was alright. Not the same as from home. Overall, good place for Vietnamese food. I will definitely come back.

I have been here for several times, always good, good soup base, and yummy pork chop with rice.

Dig it! Good food, friendly staffs. Outside looks little shabby but it's worth trying. Definitely will go back soon. (a Japanese customer )

Blurgh & yuck! Ordered noodles & tofu--got home and not only was it chicken, not tofu, but the noodles taste like they were soaked in fish

While were there, many Chinese-speaking people came in to eat and order out, which is always a good sign. It is a no frills, non-fancy place to eat (kiosk ordering, self serve plastic utensils). We focused mostly on the noodle dishes for this trip, and want to go back to try their other dishes (many which seem to be more geared toward the American palate, e.g, General Tsao's chicken). Deep fried dough sticks (you tiao) - 5*/5, I love these and have not found dim sum places in Chinatown that serve the light, easy to tear apart version of this anywhere and Sang Kee Asian Bistro does not offer this on their otherwise wonder dim sum menu. I am SO happy to find this and will be back again and again just for these. Along with some hot, sweetened soy milk to dip them in, this will be my special treat/snack go to item at Taste of Chang'an. Hooray! Pork & Chives dumplings - 5/5, these are very good dumplings and although I like the filling I make better, I am unwilling to make my own wrappers so I can imagine ordering these for takeout in the future as an appetizer for a party. Hot & Sour soup - 4/5, good overall but could use more hot and more sour. I appreciated how the broth was actually not broth and not as gummy as some hot and sour soups can be. Changan Biangbiang Noodles - 4/5, I appreciated the hand pulled noodles but found the ratio of pork belly pieces to the amount of noodles to be too low so after eating my way half through the bowl I had only noodles left. Flavors are good, but the next day I did not want to eat my leftovers which is a sign. Pork Ribs Noodles - 4/5, my son had this and he and I agreed the pork ribs were more flavorful than the pork belly pieces in my noodles. He also had many leftover noodles with no more meat, and did not want to eat the leftovers. Sauteed Spicy Chicken Noodle - 4/5, my husband had this and it looked more like a chicken/green pepper dish on a bed of noodles. Leftovers had a good ratio of all items in the dish and I did eat these the next day for lunch. When I go back, I'd like to try their zha jiang noodles, pork buns, scallion pancakes, and their other dishes. And I am so happy to have found somewhere on the Main Line where I can pick up fresh, hot you tiao!

I ordered the gluten-free rigatoni with beef, stroganoff, and zucchini. The beef was fall apart fork tender, my daughter who also has a gluten allergy did the gluten-free rigatoni with a blush sauce and vegetables since she is also a vegetarian. She loved it! My son who does not have a gluten allergy got the chicken alfredo and enjoyed it too. The portions were hardy, enough for two meals. The sign out front says "parking sucks but the food is delicious" Which was 100% accurate, but it would not prevent me from going back at all. The process was simple. I got the tortellini with blush sauce, salmon, sun-dried tomatoes, romano cheese, and fresh basil. It was just the comfort food I needed! It's a heaping portion. At least two dinners worth, probably three, with a generous portion of salmon throughout. The only thing I was missing was a buttered roll. I also got a slice of their Vanilla Hazelnut Brownie Cheesecake Cake. That "slice" was giant. Easily three servings. Will definitely be going back to try more combinations. The $30 was worth the taste and the value. Looking forward to having the leftovers.
