    Greek Salad
    Quiana W.

Being old school, I remember Hansel 'n Griddle from their days in a small hole in the wall on the side street. I was happy to see it's grown and evolved. I stopped in to this location and while in the past I would grab the Rajun Cajun wrap but this time, I tried the Greek salad with Cajun chicken and the seasoned potato wedges. Ok I had no business getting the potato wedges because I'm on a diet but they were amazing. They were perfectly seasoned and bomb with some ketchup. The Greek salad was pretty good as well. The salad was plentiful. I got it with the homemade balsamic vinaigrette which was a perfect addition. The chicken on the Greek salad was not the best. It was rubbery like microwaved chicken. Hansel n Griddle will always be a great lunch spot with sandwiches, salads, and wraps. Their large menu makes it a good choice lunch options. The service, however, is not the best. The guy at the counter scrolled on his phone the whole time until someone in the back nudged him to take my order. Sometimes it's to be expected from a college town.

Came in here just to grab something quick for my kid to eat. She wanted a buffalo chicken wrap. Poorly made. It's just chicken thrown in a tortilla wrap. And they put potatoes in it without saying anything about it. Nobody wants potatoes in a wrap. Like seriously. A fucking shit show. Messy as fuk and not quite that appealing. Disappointed to say the least but not surprised.

    Outside

I stopped by Hansel 'n Griddle around 3:45 PM after a short 10-minute walk from my apartment. Parking in the area is easy, and there wasn't much of a crowd, so I got my food quickly. The server was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the start. I ordered the Honey BBQ Panini, which came with grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, Cajun home fries, and melted cheddar and jack cheese topped with homemade honey BBQ sauce. The chicken was juicy, and the sauce added the perfect sweet-smoky flavor. Even though I'm not usually a fan of wedges, I really enjoyed them here. Prices are affordable I only spent $22.12, portions are filling, and the menu has plenty of variety. Next time I'll try the fried Oreos! Overall, Hansel 'n Griddle has great food and service, and I'll definitely be going back.

The fluffiest pancakes ever! The eggs left much to be desired, but the bacon was nice a crispy as requested.

Great service , a lil more than basic food. I feel like they play it safe when it comes to meshing flavors. It doesn't stand out. But overall decent. Great local ambiance. Good wings

Food was tasty and fairly priced. Portions were just right not too much that you could finish, not too small that you wanted more. French toast was good and the honey bbq chicken panini was pretty solid. Was disappointed that I couldn't have some extra honey-bbq sauce without being charged. Cute place, seating was good for a quick meal.

So glad I stopped by here for a late dinner! Hansel 'n Griddle has a variety of options from pancakes to quesadillas to wraps. I ordered the garden crisp quesadilla and despite ordering at 10:00 PM, I was shockingly surprised at how well it was made. It had the perfect amount of cheese, veggies, and was very warm. The employees were also super friendly and patient while waiting for indecisive me to choose! This will definitely be my go to place for quesadillas and will be back to try more stuff on their menu! Hansel n' Griddle has an interesting setup where you stand in line at the counter to order and then seat yourself in the location if you choose to dine in. They even have a barrel of free pickles by the front if you're a fan of pickles. We got an angus burger, pita and guac, a chile burger, and a grilled cheese. The burgers were pretty good and the home fries were flavorful! The pita and guac was also delicious, but I thought that the grilled cheese would be larger than it actually was.

This place has really great quick, to-go, filling meals. I have had their tater tots before and they're super good! Pictured is their grilled cheese, and I added tomato and avocado to it - a perfect combo. Hansel n' Griddle always has extremely quick delivery but also in-store service and their food never disappoints. With an extensive menu, there is always something you can find. Highly recommend for anyone in the New Brunswick area for a true grub craving.

Grilled chicken is dry! The breakfast items are good but anything grilled or semi healthy isn't the best.

I just wish there was something fresh or crunchy to balance out all the soft textures from the bread, beef patty, and cheese. A short walk later, I found myself at Destination Dogs, a place I had seen in photographs that suggested capaciousness. In reality, it is smaller.  This is not a complaint, just an observation.  I remember once hearing something about the contents of small packages. At 12:30 the place was full. Packed with humanity and appetite. I was seated quickly, as if someone had anticipated my hunger in advance. From the bar came the sound of construction crews discussing their midday rituals. Apparently this is where they come on Fridays, to repair themselves while they repair the city. It explained everything. Service was swift and attentive, a minor miracle given the crowd. I began with a Scotch egg, an item that seemed to have wandered in from another story entirely. I ordered it for that reason. I had always imagined my first Scotch egg would be eaten in an English pub under low ceilings and older regrets. Instead, here it was. Perfectly crisp, warm, and generous. The universe does not ask for permission. Then came the main event. The menu is an atlas of hot dogs. Domestic. International. Proteins in tube form arranged like possibilities. There is even an invitation to build your own, which I accepted. I attempted to recreate a favorite from Crif Dogs, a thing called the Spicy Redneck. Bacon wrapped dog. Pickled jalapenos. Coleslaw. Simple in theory. Destination Dogs improved upon it in every way that matters. The bacon crisped with purpose. The jalapenos spoke clearly. The coleslaw behaved. The hot dog itself seemed proud to be there. All of this, plus a 16 ounce beer, cost me about twenty five dollars with tip. A small price for order in a chaotic universe. Five stars. Not because perfection exists, but because this comes close enough to make the argument.

I walked in on a rainy Friday night shortly after 10pm and it was freezing cold on the inside. Shreya was working the register and was extremely present and nice to speak with. I was extremely hungry, so I also ordered the Chicken Club Burger, crispy instead of grilled. She asked me if there was anything else I needed and I jokingly said a side of heat. She checked with the other patrons inside to see if they were cold along with Jenn who was working and they concurred as well. Within minutes she was on the phone with the owner who quickly addressed the issue by cutting on the heat. A few moments and I could tell things were warming up. Now onto the food. Everything was hot. The burger was delicious, but nothing was too special. The fries were seasoned well and had a spicy sauce to go with them. The Fried Chicken club was AMAZING! By far the biggest chicken sandwich I had ever eaten. The chicken was juicy. I could taste the cheese and the bacon. The chicken was way bigger than the bun. I wish I had ordered two.
