    Carrot cake banana pudding

The limited time carrot cake banana pudding was FIRE. So good. I would definitely come back to this place. There's a parking lot on the World Market side of the plaza and you can just walk through to the other side. Way better than street parking.

Fantastic bakery! The person that helped us was very helpful and sweet. We got a chocolate on chocolate cupcake, a snickerdoodle cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and vanilla cupcake. Everything was so moist and not at all dry or overly sweet. The shop is super cute and chill. I definitely want to come back to try their banana pudding.

I don't know if they've gotten better or my tastebuds have changed lol but I decided to give this place another chance, and have been back here a few times now. My kid also changed his mind because he also loves coming here now lol. Today I tried the salted caramel which was the best one I've tried here so far. Service was friendly once again, and the place is very clean inside.

I was walking down Birch Street back to my car after visiting a local business when I came upon a "Try our world famous banana pudding" sign on the sidewalk. I love anything banana so it definitely caught my eye. I decided to walk into Hapa Bakery to check it out. The shop is fairly small, is very clean, and all walls are decorated nicely. There are four two seat tables, two inside and two out front. There is a refrigerated display case that holds their banana, nutella banana, and chocolate brownie puddings, along with a few other items. Two other counters display mouthwatering cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. The staff member was very friendly, and I mentioned that the sign out front lured me in to the shop, as I'm sure it does many others. I bought a container of banana pudding to take home, and managed to resist the urge to buy some of their other delicious looking goodies. I tried it the same evening, and it was truly heavenly. It is creamy and so flavorful, and is loaded with slices of banana and wafer cookies that are so soft and just melt. It is a good sized container, I'm guessing around 16 ounces, and is reasonably priced at just under $9. I try to limit my intake of sweets, but I will definitely be back to indulge here periodically.

Got the banana pudding because my friend absolutely adores it. I was not disappointed. It's a cute little shop, and the workers were kind. The pudding itself was so light and airy, and when you get that scoop with a piece of banana and a piece of bread. Wow. Such a nice light dessert to share with some friends... or by yourself, I'm not judging. Gotta come back to try the cookie butter or nutella version of the banana pudding!

I've been meaning to try Hapa ever since before this location opened and finally tried it when they were running a deal on the banana pudding. The cookie butter one is phenomenal! A bit pricey but would be worth the splurge if I'm in the area. Would also love to try their cookies and cupcakes

This place is cute. They have some beautiful and tasty looking treats. They even have cute little snow globe cookies for the holidays. But I didn't try any of them. Honestly, just get the banana pudding...you're welcome.

Nice clean little place. Everything is nicely displayed which makes it hard to decide what to buy since it's all looks so good. The girl at the register quiet. But not rude.

Hapa bakery is an excellent bakery. I've always been a fan of their cupcakes and filled cookies. Today, my friend and I grabbed a cupcake each. I grabbed a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. My friend grabbed a churro cupcake. Both were very moist and flavorful. They had a nice selection and the ambience was calm and inviting. The service was great. Our cashier even offered to sign us up for their reward program, which was easy to sign up for. All you need is to provide your phone number. I do however think the cupcakes are pretty small for the price you pay, which is 4 dollars and some change. It is a nice place to visit in downtown Fullerton when you are craving sometbing sweet.

We stopped in on a whim and I feel like my life has changed. These are, perhaps, the most delightful cookies I have ever had.it was hard to choose but I liked the sprinkle cookie the most. They were the perfect amount of sweet with great flavor and big enough cookies to share. I can't wait to go back and get some more.

This is amazing BP. And I know BP ball. Great texture, great cream team addition. Wafers held up well, not too soggy, not too stiff. Great balance of banana flavor. It was a war crime to not get another one. Genuinely a top 5 BP experience. All my homies hate Magnolia Bakery.

I've tried the cupcakes at Hapa prior to their move to Downtown Brea and wasn't a huge fan as it was dry but decided to come back to try the banana pudding ($8.50). Though it was quite sweet, it was to be expected. Layers of custard, wafers and banana - such a tasty treat if you're a fan of banana! $1 off puddings on Wednesdays. There was also a pumpkin pudding and strawberry pudding for those who want to try a different flavor! There are some street parking spots right up front if you get lucky or several structures located close by, all free to park.

The desserts are delicious to both the eye and mouth. The Galaxy Brownie was a fun and nostalgic treat. I love a good cosmic brownie, and Hapa did this childhood snack justice. It was so fudgy and the sprinkles were colorful and crunchy. The strawberry matcha cupcake was surprisingly pleasing. The strawberry cake was fluffy and, in the best way possible, reminiscent of the Betty Crocker box mixes I used to make as a child. The cookies are also good. My favorite thing, however, is definitely the banana pudding. Service was nice. Great vibes all around.

Their banana pudding is the bomb. It lasts up to 3 days in the fridge. It tastes fresh. It is on the sweeter side but I don't mind that!

Our venue referred us to Beverly's Bakery, which is quite close to where our reception was at. Prior to selecting our cake, we scheduled a one-on-one consultation with one of the staff members named Maria, who was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable about cake designs. After our discussion, we ended up selecting a two-tier white wedding cake with strawberry mousse filling--topped off with a gorgeous, blue-laced ribbon made from rice paper. The convenient part about the bakery is that they deliver the cake to you, which was a huge plus because it saved us a lot of time. Our cake was delivered to the venue on time and enjoyed by us and our guests. Thank you again, Beverly's Bakery!

The process was so simple and easy, I just sent an email inquiry and as soon as I heard back from them (1-2 days after), I called to place and confirm my order. For custom cakes, they require a deposit, and then the rest of the payment can be made near or on the pick-up date. They also go over their policy with you over the phone. My sister was very particular of how she wanted her birthday cake. She specified that she wanted a carrot cake with cream-cheese frosting, heart-shaped, baby-blue in color with sparkles, and have black bows. The bakery doesn't make any non-edible add-ons so I had to provide the black bows, and it turned out absolutely beautiful that we didn't want to eat it! Carrot cake was delicious, we all enjoyed it. The decor is absolutely beautiful. It feels very special, unique and fancy. My daughter was so happy to be at a "real" tea party! We had the ginger peach, vanilla caramel, and strawberry shortcake. The vanilla caramel was THE BEST! All of the sandwiches were really good but the bread of the roast beef really made it shine. All of the petite desserts were delicious as well. There was plenty of food for the three of us to share, I paid for the split charge for my daughter since I figured she wouldn't eat all those sandwiches to herself. There was a little hiccup with our reservation. I booked it for 3 and added in the comments that my daughter would be sharing and we would pay the split fee. The week before I received a notification that our reservation had been changed to 2. I called the restaurant and spoke with someone who assured me that our reservation was still for 3, but that they changed it to 2 so they wouldn't make the food tower for 3. Well upon arrival to our reservation the girls at the front said our reservation was only for 2 and that they had only a table set for 2. They went and spoke with someone in the back and then said they would add a small chair to the 2 top. I pushed back and said that I didn't want to cram the three tea pots and settings into a tiny table and they eventually moved some things around to give us a table for 3. The other thing is that once everything was dropped off the server disappeared! We didn't see her again until I went to the front to ask for my check. We were completely out of tea water for a while and then I saw a young man refilling another table and I was able to ask him to refill ours. The table next to us grabbed him as well. I also would have loved to ask someone for a regular glass of water but no one was around. I will say when our server dropped off our tower she did offer to take a picture of us which was very thoughtful. Overall it really was a lovely experience despite the couple issues that gave a 4/5 instead a 5/5. I would definitely come back again!
