Finally got to try the banana pudding at hapa bakery. The banana pudding is good but a bit too sweet for me and Im a sweet person. I can only eat a few spoons at a time, which might be a good thing, it stops me from smashing the entire container. I do want to try thr chocolate or whatever flavor they have next time.

Nice staff and cute bakery. We tried their banana pudding, chocolate pudding, strawberry champagne and chocolate whiskey cupcakes. All were yummy but the cupcakes, which seemed slightly dry and crumbly. The chocolate whiskey cupcake was bitter. Everything else was very good though.

Stopped in with my wife and tried the lemon cream frosted cookie, the sprinkle sugar cookie, and the banana pudding. Everything was really good. The lemon cookie was soft with a fresh lemon flavor that wasn't overly sweet. The sprinkle sugar cookie was exactly what you want from a classic sugar cookie, soft, buttery, and just plain good. The banana pudding was probably my favorite. Super creamy, great banana flavor, and tasted like something homemade. The shop itself was clean, bright, and had a fun vibe. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and everything looked as good as it tasted. Definitely coming back.

The limited time carrot cake banana pudding was FIRE. So good. I would definitely come back to this place. There's a parking lot on the World Market side of the plaza and you can just walk through to the other side. Way better than street parking.

I don't know if they've gotten better or my tastebuds have changed lol but I decided to give this place another chance, and have been back here a few times now. My kid also changed his mind because he also loves coming here now lol. Today I tried the salted caramel which was the best one I've tried here so far. Service was friendly once again, and the place is very clean inside.

The woman working here was so welcoming and sweet! It's a cute bakery spot with a little seating area outside. The cookie butter pudding was amazing and to die for. I absolutely love anything cookie butter flavored, and this definitely exceeded my expectations, the flavor of the banana pudding and cookie butter mixed well. I'll definitely be coming back here.

I was walking down Birch Street back to my car after visiting a local business when I came upon a "Try our world famous banana pudding" sign on the sidewalk. I love anything banana so it definitely caught my eye. I decided to walk into Hapa Bakery to check it out. The shop is fairly small, is very clean, and all walls are decorated nicely. There are four two seat tables, two inside and two out front. There is a refrigerated display case that holds their banana, nutella banana, and chocolate brownie puddings, along with a few other items. Two other counters display mouthwatering cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. The staff member was very friendly, and I mentioned that the sign out front lured me in to the shop, as I'm sure it does many others. I bought a container of banana pudding to take home, and managed to resist the urge to buy some of their other delicious looking goodies. I tried it the same evening, and it was truly heavenly. It is creamy and so flavorful, and is loaded with slices of banana and wafer cookies that are so soft and just melt. It is a good sized container, I'm guessing around 16 ounces, and is reasonably priced at just under $9. I try to limit my intake of sweets, but I will definitely be back to indulge here periodically.

Got the banana pudding because my friend absolutely adores it. I was not disappointed. It's a cute little shop, and the workers were kind. The pudding itself was so light and airy, and when you get that scoop with a piece of banana and a piece of bread. Wow. Such a nice light dessert to share with some friends... or by yourself, I'm not judging. Gotta come back to try the cookie butter or nutella version of the banana pudding!

Fantastic bakery! The person that helped us was very helpful and sweet. We got a chocolate on chocolate cupcake, a snickerdoodle cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and vanilla cupcake. Everything was so moist and not at all dry or overly sweet. The shop is super cute and chill. I definitely want to come back to try their banana pudding.

Nice clean little place. Everything is nicely displayed which makes it hard to decide what to buy since it's all looks so good. The girl at the register quiet. But not rude.

I've been meaning to try Hapa ever since before this location opened and finally tried it when they were running a deal on the banana pudding. The cookie butter one is phenomenal! A bit pricey but would be worth the splurge if I'm in the area. Would also love to try their cookies and cupcakes

This place is cute. They have some beautiful and tasty looking treats. They even have cute little snow globe cookies for the holidays. But I didn't try any of them. Honestly, just get the banana pudding...you're welcome.

They sell cookies, coffees, and cupcakes. The cupcakes are not gigantic but are "classic" sized, like normal people eat. There are a variety of flavors to choose from and I decided on two to take home - lemon and churro. I then decided to sit and hang out for a while, so also ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a hot vanilla latte. The young woman working was delightful and provided excellent customer service. The cookie was large and delicious. A plethora of chocolate chips was stuffed into this soft cookie. It went well with my latte, which was satisfactory. The most vibrant flavors were the frostings on both cupcakes. The cakes themselves were fresh & moist. The lemon cake was light in flavor while the frosting was boldly lemony and rich with sweet cream cheese. The frosting on my other cupcake tasted just like a churro and the light cinnamon cake beneath made this my favorite.

Vibe & Atmosphere From the moment you walk in, the shop is incredibly clean, spotless, and well-kept. It has a warm, welcoming, aesthetic vibe with so many cute photo ops--from the gorgeous floral wall sign to the "Treat Yourself" hallway with black-and-white checkered floors and sprinkle wallpaper. Located in a really nice, quiet, and safe shopping center with plenty of parking, it's super accessible. There is also plenty of seating to relax with family or friends, making it a great, child-friendly spot (and I know they host regular events, too!). The Cupcakes & Drinks It is so hard to find a place that offers high-quality baked goods for reasonable prices, but this family-owned gem nails it. The baker, Sarah, is amazingly talented--she never misses when it comes to creative flavors, beautiful decorations, and incredibly moist cupcakes. Beyond the treats, their drink menu is fantastic. Whether you're stopping in for a good morning coffee or a cold, flavorful iced tea topped with fresh fruit, everything is made with care. If I lived closer, I would easily be here every week. Highly recommend stopping by for any occasion or just a sweet treat!

Why offer so many flavors if you don't get a choice? I called again the next day and thankfully got a different worker who shared my confusion with me about the first worker. They wrote down my order (I got 4 different flavors) and I was set to pick up. The day I picked up my cupcakes, I noticed they looked different from the online pictures (but whatever, they still looked cute). I also noticed they gave me a wrong flavor (I ordered chocolate whiskey and they gave me caramel something instead). I made the mistake known to the cashier but she looked so confused and said "yeah.. thats the chocolate whiskey" which it clearly wasn't because there was caramel slathered on top and did not match the online description and the in person display. I showed the cashier the description and referenced the in person display and the cashier still seemed confused and said "yeah... thats the chocolate whiskey. What would you like me to do?" And I had to spell it out for her and say "take these caramel ones out and replace them with the ones I ordered" and had to point and all and the cashier just said "oh okay." It was super weird and frustrating. Anyways, taste wise- the alcohol infused cupcakes don't really have a flavor of alcohol and the batter kind of tastes like the box mix. Super strange experience for mid to below mid tasting cupcakes.

It looks clean and spacious enough for a small scale tea shop. There are a-la-carte menu items (pastries, tea) and an afternoon tea menu. Price: $45 for the Royal Tea Experience package which is extremely reasonable considering what you get. There is a 90 mins max for each tea experience. They are pretty booked from what I saw. Food: For the Royal Tea Experience, each of us got: tea of choice, 5 tea sandwiches (Cucumber Dill Cream cheese, Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Cranberry Turkey pinwheel, Roast Beed Arugula), 2 scones (Vanilla and Strawberry), Cream, Strawberry preserve, berries and some grapes, 3 desserts (mini muffin, Chocolate brownie, some kind of mini cake). The tea pots were a lot smaller than other places I've been to (probably enough for 1.5 cups of tea if filled to the rim). I love the heart-shaped sugar cubes, the size is just enough for a half teaspoon of sugar. They didn't have any milk for the tea set up like other places I've been to. I love the roast beef sandwich balanced flavor; the chicken one is really bland, a dash of curry powder would enhance the flavor more in my opinion; the cucumber needs to be sliced thinner as these slices are rather chunky; the scones are fine - I usually prefer my scones warm but only 1 place I know that serve it that way. The tea selection is decent, I went for Jasmine Rose. I feel that the scent and tea flavor was rather weak. There was barely any scent of each so it didn't leave a big impression on me. I want to try other ones in the future for sure. The staff was super nice to offer an extra tea bag if the flavor is too weak so I went for another bag. Service: Excellent! They were fast, courteous, and friendly. 2 staff made their rounds frequently to check on us and made sure we had enough hot water in our tea pots . Parking: This is where I docked up a star. The parking lot is shared with many businesses in the same strip mall. I came here at 10 AM on a Saturday and the whole parking lot was filled, there was no spot for me to park. My friend had to park all the way on the other side of the mall and I managed to find some parking in the back (side street). Avoid lunch time at all cost, there were cars waiting around as they couldn't find any parking. After the tea experience, we went somewhere else and upon coming back around 3 PM, half the parking lot is empty. If I would give anyone a tip on the parking time, it seems to be ideal around this time.
