Another happy day at Hapiness Nail Salon. Mickie always makes sure I am well taken care of. I went in for a nail fill and eyebrow wax. I kind of had an idea for a nail design and Mickie made it come to life. I am so happy with how my nails turned out. She added some flower designs and some diamonds and the French manicure was gorgeous. Everything I go in the staff is aiming to please. She was good her work is great no lie, she is a tad bit pushy when it comes to leaving tips and other services they provided. My nails look great, so I honestly can't complain. read more

I was seated almost immediately and the service was ok. I wish they had their prices posted but I knew about the average price range for my acrylic fill with gel, so I wasn't surprised when I got the bill for 45$ I was offered water or soda and I took a water and it was cold. A lot of flies that bothered me during my service. She went extremely short when I said "I want to trim a little" and also cut part of my left ring finger where it ended up having puss then draining on its own. She also did a sloppy job. My experience this past time was horrific. Not only did the person ruin my nails he was very rude. Earphones in he proceeded to take my gel polish off. Instead of soaking my hand in acetone he put my hand in cold water. Next he used the sander which took off several layers of my nails and left big dips in my nail bed. After filing my nails they were not smooth at all. I paid for a manicure (with no polish) and received a 15 minute disaster on my nails. I used to love going to this establishment for services. I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

This is by far one of the worst places I've ever been to. The utensils used were not sanitary. The nail tech that did my pedicure was very rough and did not take there time. I got a get pedicure on 05/13/23 and today 05/14/23 the gel polish from two of my nails came off. If you want to get a a decent pedicure, please go somewhere else. The customer service here is the WORST. It feels like your are inconveniencing them by coming in. I love the one in Visalia and now since I live in Tulare I thought I would be getting the same service.. I was sooo wrong! The lady doing my nails was rude ( nails came out ok, not going to lie) and I tipped her $5. Her attitude changed a bit after the tip. When I went to go pay, that was an entire different story. No where on the front desk does it say cash only, so when I went to pay with card it became a problem. She said they only take cash no card ummmm what ?? I used to come in here all the time years ago because it was decent work for a good price. I've come in here a few times the last year, each time thinking it's just a fluke that I had a bad experience and I'll get a different person next time. I guess I'm just stupid. Today was the last straw. I am never returning. Little miss caught an attitude right off the bat because I just wanted my nails off. No manicure, just removal. She huffed at me and started going very fast even thought closing was two hours away and I was the only person in the salon. She started ripping my gel x nails off dry. I gritted my teeth through one hand but it hurt so much and was causing so much damage I asked her to soak my other hand in acetone before removal. She huffed at me again and said that would take longer and I said I didn't mind. She said "you want it to take longer??" I said "I want you to stop ripping up my nail." She made it clear she was mad and set me up to soak. She proceeds to make me soak for half an hour. For no reason. While she gave. Herself. A pedicure. I couldn't believe it. She smugly came back and said something about how it takes soooo long this way. I said nothing. She finished removing my nails. She went to file them and proceeded to cut the tips of my fingers in the process. I'm bleeding and in pain now. I say nothing. We finish. I've been there an entire hour just for nail removal and a file. She then rings me up and has the audacity to ask me if I wanted to tip. I laughed and said "I'm never coming here again." I should have asked if she washed her hands after touching her feet. I hope so considering I now have an open wound. This isn't the first issue I've had here, but definitely the first time angry enough to write this review. The men there are perverts, the work is shoddy for the price nowadays, nothing ever turns out like the picture. I've been cut here multiple times and had the price change on me at the end with no warning. They are rude and cold. Never come here. read more

Have to go out of town tomorrow and I didn't know of any places can be open to get me know the done but I called and I got an appointment the same day. I got a pedicure with gel and a full set and I've never had anybody be so thorough and not make me feel like they were rushing my service. Ask for Hally! She went above and beyond to make sure my nails were perfect (the shape of them, the length, everything!) My nails ..... Perfect Pedicure..... beyond perfect. Thanks so much Hally. Happiness Nails is unfortunately a busy salon serving our community with terrible service, unsanitary conditions and unlicensed technicians. This entity has been fined by state regulators on more than one occasion, including a violation for not disinfecting and cleaning their foot spas. They have also been reported to the state by numerous customers that have caught infections due to their conditions. I went in to do my nails and my nails lifted only two days after getting them done. I returned to ask they they fix the problem and they asked me to come back in two hours as they were too busy to do a repair. Two young ladies walked in after me and they told them to immediately sit on two of their nail stations. This of course made me furious and I said to them "I paid $37 for a fill last week and you refuse to service me because a repair is not netting you enough money to make worth your while?" I asked for a refund and told them I would never give them my service again. The manager didn't care what I said and told me they have a no refund policy, therefore I wouldn't be getting my money back. I responded by simply walking out after telling her I would encourage all my friends and family to never go there again. read more

Please don't get your nails done here toes are OK but you will have smudged polish on your actual toe because the tools they use are not sanitized at all. when I came here they didn't have any cute colors they didn't have any base colors colors they're shaping and acrylic laying is perfectly fine but when it comes to a simple French tip, it's horrible. They are so rough and cut me multiple times the guy that did my nails was so rude and rough. I would give it a zero out of 10 if I really could but otherwise the other staff has Nikki or Lynn are the only girls you should get your toes done by. I decided to come back and check out this location after 5 years and I was not disappointed..except that I had to wait a good 40 min for a fill because they didn't have enough technicians working. The place was very clean and comfy, and they are low on nail polish colors if you dont do gel. Logan my nail tech was really good and professional, not very talkative (which I love) because I'm trying to relax, not talk my life away. Appalled by the service we received. I tried them out after many years if not going here because of the services provided and the condition of the salon. Just a reminder to this business you should never allow your customer to pay an insane amount for horrible services, some things not even provided yet we were still charged and to left unsatisfied. It was made clear to us they'd rather collect almost $150 for 2 people than leave a lasting impression on a customer so they'll return. The only impression left is this business has no care in the world for the people they are servicing. They were careless, rude and clearly didn't pay any attention to our request on color and design or that we had clearly explained what we wanted. They did what THEY wanted and still had attitude and it was clear they were in a rush and were a bit rough. And.... To top it off they wanted a tip! I shouldn't have had to feel guilty with the eyes rolls and negative speaking for not tipping for horrible service. Your establishment does have a new makeover that is very nice but your employees need an attitude makeover if you want to keep people coming back. read more

First time coming to this nail salon. Upon walking in I noticed the salon was very unkept. The cup holders on the massage chairs were filthy, the salon was very cluttered and just overall not inviting. I got a pedicure and a full set. My full set was very rushed and the end result shows. They were cut at the length I wanted but when she started filing she made them entirely too short. On top of that the gel was very bubbly looking and looked like I needed a fill already. I'm usually not one to ask to have my nails fixed but I had spent $60 on my services so I couldn't bear going home unhappy spending that much. I went back in and had her fix them for me and she "fixed them" alright. My nails are all uneven and the polish on the edge of my cuticles are uneven. Granted they look better than they did but they are not worthy of nearly $40. My advice take your money elsewhere. read more

This place is DISGUSTING. My grandma went in for a pedicure and got an infection in two of her toenails. When my acrylics fell off a week after, I had one too. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Absolutely the WORST nail salon I've ever been to. The woman who did my nails cut me while attempting to remove my acrylics and was rushing so badly that she didn't even try to make them look even. I wanted a coffin shape and instead got short chunky squares that were lumpy. The place was filthy, and they reuse dirty drill heads and nail files that have other people's nail dust all over them and they don't even try to clean them whatsoever. State board should really look into this place because it's completely unsanitary. read more

Last year a friend took her and I for mani and pedi's. I love the pedicure but wasn't expecting to find toe fungus after I removed the polish weeks later. I spent 18 years in the beauty industry. 10 of which I spend doing nails and feet. Never ever in my life have I had a fungus until now. Luckily for me I knew what to do. Gradually cutting my nail back half way. As the fungus grows out cutting it shorter each time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone period. I took my daughter to get short stiletto nails. She got a black french tip with one accent nail with stars on it. They were pretty busy when we got there and didn't even get a chance to start her nails until they were almost closing. The girl rushed through it to get the store closed. The black is basically see through! Of course my 17 year old daughter didn't say anything and I didn't even get a chance to see them until she had left and got in the car.
