Everything about this spot is great , the service, food , value and the overall ambiance. We were a group of 12 for a pre game sit down meal and we were not disappointed. Shout out to our server who checked in with us often and kept the drinks and food flowing.

Make reservations!!! So cute inside and fun. Great staff and great food! Drinks are so fun!

Not gonna lie honestly I'm really shocked at the food here. I've only considered it a bar and baseball game vibes so had low expectations, but the chicken sandwich was so good! And the fries so crispy. However my mom's food came out wayyy earlier than the rest of us, so she had it sitting a while. Still good definitely a solid 4/5!

Stopped here before a Sunday night Cubs game and was quickly seated. The space spans upstairs so there's lots of room. The place was adorable and the energy electric. Grabbed a few beers and the Mozzarella bread sticks. I expected them to be more of mozzarella sticks, but was definitely closer to a cheese pizza with no sauce. Still yummy though, and the marinara sauce on the side was a nice touch. The portion was a generous amount for the three of us sharing, and we left very satisfied.

We ended up at Happy Camper in Wrigleyville on a bit of a whim and were pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate a big group of us last minute. That alone was a huge win and made the night a lot easier to pull together. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight here. It's lively, fun, and great for groups, especially if you're just looking to hang out and enjoy the energy of Wrigleyville. As for the food, it was okay. Nothing particularly memorable, but it got the job done. The menu has a lot of options, which is nice for a group with different tastes, but it's more about the vibe than the cuisine. The pizzas are perfect for sharing. Overall, I'd come back for the convenience and fun setting, especially with a group, but probably wouldn't go out of my way just for the food.

BIRRIA 'ZA

We were visiting from Omaha and our friend brought us here, and I'm so glad she did. The outside disco wall was calling me like a Siren and inside it was even better. Really great place for vibes and cute pics, and good food, and cute bathrooms, which seems weird to say. We came during a Saturday brunch time, so they were packed. There's an upper and lower level, we sat in a booth on the lower level. I initially felt weird going in with my friend's 6 year old because it didn't seem like a family restaurant. I was surprised to see several kids and families inside! They even made it fun for him, like putting a rubber ducky and twisty straw in his water and soda. I ordered a couple rosés, my husband got a beer, and my friend got the espresso martini. It was hard to choose a drink with all the great options, so I opted for the wine. We got the elote dip for a starter and we all loved it. It came with plenty of chips!! My husband and I ordered the birria pizza because I'm a huge birria fan. The pizza was fabulous, and the consommé was so good paired with it! The only thing that made it a little odd was the garlic crust. My friend said we had to check out the Christmas bathroom, so we did. It was really cute! As a Christmas lover, it was perfect. The disco balls hanging from the ceiling was the cherry on top!

PULLED PORK NACHOS

Not bad! I was not expecting their food to be as good as it was. We only ordered the Loaded Nachos with Pulled Pork on it but it was pretty legit. Like look as this picture man... I'm not sure if it was the drinks talking but I would definitely order that again. Plus on top of that, the bartenders were great. On St. Pattys day they were on top of it, making sure everyone was being taken care of. I truly appreciate them serving us our sodas / lemonade. Just because of this little experience, I definitely plan on coming back & bringing more folks with me too. Thank you Happy Camper, looking forward to seeing you soon. Personal Review: 7.6/10

Street corn pizza & The Greg pizza

My friend was able to snag a table for 10 people for the bears vs packers game. This was my first time coming here so I was excited! Upon arrival, the place was PACKED. The original table they gave us was tucked in a corner with only 1 TV visible. We kindly asked to be moved to a location with more TVs and they were very accommodating! Our server was great! Didn't catch his name. The whole table shared 3 large pizzas and a few apps. The greg pizza really stood out to me and it was delicious!! Recommend the truffle fries too - super crispy! We ordered cocktail pitchers and they were ok. Overall, great vibes especially for sports! Decor is 10/10.

We were looking for a post-game spot for dinner and multiple friends had recommended Happy Camper! This place is massive and when we arrived, they were opening a new section so we were seated immediately which was great. I loved the vibes of this place, so many fun lights and disco balls!! Definitely great for photos. We got a couple drinks (I got the Patio Pounder which was so fun as it was a cocktail mixed in a LaCroix can and was sweet with a kick!). For our table of 4 hungry girls, we got chips and salsa, an elote dip, poke bowl, and 2 pizzas (Linda and Nadene). The chips were a little thick but the dips were delicious. The poke bowl wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked but was still fresh and yummy. The pizzas were the star of the show and the Nadene has to be one of my favorites!! I loved the dots of ricotta, the hot honey, and the cupped pepperoni. Just so good!! Overall, great spot for large groups and I would definitely make a return visit.

10/10 off vibes alone. The aesthetics are TOP NOTCH and when we walked in it smelled like GOOD AF food -- which says a lot because we literally left another spot beforehand because it wasn't giving. So glad we ended up at Happy Camper because it did NOT disappoint. The doormen were sweet and funny, the bartenders were attentive, and nobody made us feel rushed even though we came in 30 mins before closing. Good service, good vibes, beautiful space... we'll definitely be back!

Went here for a drink before a dinner reservation and such a cool vibe we decided to come back after dinner. The vibes here are just fun. Lots of color, lights, and just all around chill. We were treated with a white claw shot when we arrived back the second time, which was really kind. Got a few drinks, and tried the elote corn(really good!) we didn't really eat but the pizzas looked amazing walking by. Drinks are well made, fun garnishes, and service was spot on. Definitely a great vibe for an event, and our new go to spot!

PEPPERONI

Sweater weather called for carbs -- and Happy Camper in Wrigleyville delivered We kicked things off with the mozzarella breadsticks (super soft with that perfect crunch) and a side of warm marinara topped with ricotta that was chef's kiss. Then came the whipped feta which was creamy, rich, and paired with toasty bread and pistachios for that perfect sweet-salty combo. And of course, we couldn't skip their pizza, we went for a pepperoni loaded with basil and dollops of ricotta that melted right into the cheesy goodness. Between the cozy lights, neon signs, and "bigger portions" energy, this place is all about good vibes and even better food. The service was very fast and welcoming!!

Terrible pizza. The flavor was bland from the sauce to the cheese to the toppings. Wouldn't recommend.

The staff was super attentive and kind, checking on us frequently. My friend and I stopped by for happy hour, and this should absolutely make it onto the list of the best in town. They have delicious wine, cocktails, and bites for nearly half of the regular price. I opted for the happy hour prosecco to drink, which was light-bodied and not too sweet. We split the meatballs and dates for bites and both were outstanding. I was super impressed with how tender the meatballs were, and they did not skimp on the flavorful marinara and cheese! The dates, which were topped with a white wine cheese sauce, were mouth-wateringly delicious and a must order. There was also complimentary focaccia with olive oil, which was greatly appreciated. With sea salt on top and a crispy exterior, I could easily have eaten a whole loaf. The only note I have is that the portions are small, so if you don't come during happy hour the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Will 100% be back soon to try more of the menu and highly recommend making the trek over here!

Not chewy at all which was nice. There were a ton of olives which I didn't think complimented the calamari. Overall, still 5/5. Mushroom Tava - mushrooms were cooked perfectly and were delicious. One of my favorite dishes of the night. 5/5 Stuffed Mushrooms - this dish fell flat on flavor and had more of the typical mushroom texture. 3/5 The Hunkar entrée initially was extremely salty. I mentioned this to the waiter and they remade it, which turned out great, so I'm hoping the salty dish was a one-off. 5/5 Our waiter was very friendly and attentive throughout. He's been certified for 3 yrs* Upon walking up to the establishment with my fiancé and service dog, there was an officer there wearing a badge. He acknowledged how cute Rory (my service dog) was and stated he was a service dog. He then asked if he could pet Rory, I said yes that would be fine with me. Another gentleman, not sure what role he played at the establishment, approached us while the officer was still there. He began questioning me and Rory's legitimacy on being a service dog since he just saw the officer pet him. I informed him that the officer had asked and I said it was ok. He then said "we have a lot of people that pretend their dogs are service dogs to get them in"; I replied I have his badge and the dog trainer's(dog training elite) number to contact her. He allowed us in. Less than a minute latter when my finance, Rory, and I were walking to a table, the bouncer/manager re-approaches us and says we have to leave predicated on the notion I let an officer say hi and pet Rory after the officer had asked. The law allows establishments to only ask 2 questions when it comes to service animals; 1) Is it a legitimate service animal? 2) What service is the service animal providing? I was only asked #1, if Rory was a service animal, I am allowed to give my service animal a break on occasion and I decide who can and can't say hi to him. Have never been discriminated like this in my life. And will never be returning to the facility.
