The spring rolls were crispy and tasty, my wontons were good and the broth and noodles hit the spot. The only issue I had was when paying the bill, this is a pet peeve of mine and doesn't reflect the food. I find it very disrespectful to charge your patrons a service charge to take credit cards, and 4 percent on top of it. If you're up in wahiawa stop by and enjoy the food but maybe bring cash.

This seasons the BBQ chicken, bulgogi, and the shoyu potatoes. it is very different from the usual "four choicee" local Korean spots for its lack of sweetness. It is not for everyone. The spicy pork is very well made. Spicy for sure. Great chili taste sweetened by carrots and onions mixed in the thick stir fry. Oily but delish. Very flavorful and meaty, meat jun. Equally flavorful, black pepper forward jap chae. Solid banchan with only mildly fermented kim chee. Super cute, friendly service from the moms. Go and you'll understand. Lots of free street parking. There were 6 of them accompanied by lettuce, mint, cucumbers and a sweet sauce. The spring rolls were very tasty and had a good amount if filling. I loved eating it with the veggies. The pad Thai came out first and we dug in. It had really good flavor. Pad Thai is normally on the sweeter side and while this was sweet, it wasn't overly sweet. Next up the pad kee mow came out. The flavors are night and day compared to the pad Thai which is why I like it. The flavor was fantastic! The basil really stood out and it was just the right amount of spice. I love the wide noodles in the dish. My honey said he actually preferred my pad kee mow to his dish. The portions are big and we brought home half of each meal. The server was so nice and sweet. She even gave us a tarot tapioca pudding to go. I've never been a huge taro fan but omg this was delicious. It had a nice coconut flavor and there were chunks of taro it in. Since I'm a sucker for variety - and I hadn't eaten here in about 20 years - I also ordered the Mini Fried Saimin and Mini Korean Chicken. I love seeing each restaurant's take on these local favorites. Bill's Fish & Chips: WOW. The full order is HUGE! You get three giant pieces of cod over a mountain of shoestring fries. The fish was cooked beautifully - super crispy on the outside while staying moist and flaky inside. But oh Lord... it needed salt! The fries had a great crisp too, although they did have that darker, old-oil flavor that was a little hard to ignore. Since I'm a foodie who likes to come prepared, I happened to have lemon wedges with me lol!... and man, did that take the fish to another level. Hey, don't judge! It tasted like it may have been cooked earlier and then portioned out for my plate. The service was friendly, helpful with recommendations, and they packed everything securely. Our order was accurate, and the prices felt fair for the amount of food you get. They definitely have a great variety for a neighborhood plate lunch spot. Would we make the drive all the way from Ewa Beach just for this? Probably not. But if we're already in the area, we'd absolutely stop by again. One last heads up... if you're planning to dine in, be prepared to leave smelling like the fryer.
