I also bought the buy with me / groupon deal...I called to book 2 weeks ago. I was expecting them today. The owner called 2 hours before they were to arrive and she cancelled on me. She said I was out of the 25 miles range...I doubled checked I am 17 miles..totally in Range! I told her I would pay the $10 for being out of range but she said no. I told her I was having people in from out of town and desperately needed the service. She said call buy with me and get a refund because they will never come to winnetka/woodland hills/canoga. They to top it off told me to check craigs list for someone that cleans in my area. Horrible customer service!!! I would give 0 stars if I could And it just KEEPS GETTING WORSE!!!! The owner just called at 8pm to harass me about my bad posting! I wish she had enough time to provide good customer service! She called me a loser for posting on yelp! I should have paid attention to other yelp reviews to save my money. The owner screamed at me that she hopes I don't get a refund for the vouchers. Absolutely the worst customer experience in my life. For a business owner to use my number to harass me after they wouldn't even keep the appt they booked!!!! I called last minute for their "Move-In" cleaning, which cost about $150 for our 2 bd/2.5 ba home. The service was friendly, and they scheduled a cleaning for me the next day, with a window of "12 - 2" arrival time. Well, they arrived several minutes before 2. Eager to get off running errands they said they would call when they were finishing up. One and half hours later, they called. It took me another 45 minutes to finish up what I was doing and get home. I was so apologetic for being late, we did a quick run through and gave them a check so they could go. I didn't even ask about the Yelp Advertised discount. At first glance things looked fine, but the second we started looking closer... not what was promised at all. It looked like they hadn't dusted anything that wasn't easily seen--like on top of the fridge (a gross grimy mess) and in the drawers and cabinets. Maybe they just dry dusted in some areas with the same cloth, which really just moves dust around, it doesn't clean. But other areas it was clear they hadn't dusted at all. Our bathtub, showers and toilets had obviously been somewhat cleaned, but not as thoroughly as I would expect for a move-in cleaning. After all, there's no furniture or decorations or anything getting in the way of doing a good cleaning. I gave the office a call immediately and left a message. I never got a call back. I've waited a week for a response, and now after hearing nothing, I'm posting this. I don't mind paying $150 for the convenience of a move in clean. Theoretically it should save me a lot of time. But seeing as how I needed to re-clean a lot of the areas, I don't feel as if I saved anything. read more

I've chosen to give one more star since Kiran, the owner of Got It Maids, is concerned with customer service and has been in contact with me regarding my concerns. I looked past the negative yelp reviews and called Got It Maid since they advertised being able to accommodate last-minute requests. I needed my 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment cleaned prior to turning my keys in to the landlord. Pros: - easy to schedule - the ladies showed up on time - difficult to clean stove and microwave looked great! Cons: - The ladies finished cleaning quicker than I expected (about an hour for a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment) - I asked the ladies to walk through the apartment with me (Kiran later told me that it's policy to conduct a walk through). At first glance, the place looked OK so I sent the ladies off with a check. Right after the ladies walked out the door, I had to ask them to come back to clean a windowsill and window in the kitchen (Kiran later told me that they do not clean windows, even though the rest of the windows inside the apartment had been cleaned) - I noticed the next day (when I was turning in my keys) that the kitchen sink needed some more cleaning (looked like they just rinsed it) and the kitchen floors and mirrored closet doors had not been cleaned at all. When I paid the ladies by check they told me to call Kiran to get the receipt emailed to me. Kiran explained to me that her crews do not have field receipts to ensure no assumed liability. The next day I called Kiran to let her know the ladies missed some obvious areas and she offered to have someone come and clean up. Unfortunately, I had to turn in my keys to the landlord so I just did the cleaning myself. I also requested the receipt be emailed to me which she said she'd do right away. I had to call her again the next day to ask for the receipt again. She was out of town and having trouble accessing the internet, so OK. Overall, Kiran was very responsive when I had concerns. I should have been more assertive and called her immediately when I noticed the unclean areas. Given my short timeline, I did the best I could. read more

Color me impressed! I am a huge fan of Yelp reviews, so I had done my due diligence on "Got it Maid", and as you will see, the reviews tend to be a bit mixed, although it looks like most of the not-so-great comments were based on people who bought GroupOns, which means that there would have been a massive influx of new customers. And let's face it, we GroupOn people expect the world, but only want to pay for the moon...of Pluto. Which isn't even a planet. I contacted Got it Maid, and had lots of questions, that were answered in lightning-fast speed. Also lightning fast was the scheduling of my cleaning crew. For a SUNDAY cleaning. I was told that I'd be notified within 30 minutes of their arrival, which I was. The crew showed up and were, in a word "Professional", with a capital P. (Hell, I'll even give them capital ROFESSIONAL, too!) My place was a little, um, "unkept". The two ladies never made me feel bad or guilty for living in such a Hoarders-adjacent squalor. (I may or may not be exaggerating. P.S. NOT, according to the crew.) I professed my love to the two amazing workers throughout the cleaning job; they tackled parts of my house that I forgot existed. (Really, top of the guest room bookcase?) I will absolutely, without a doubt have "Got it Maid" clean my place again - sooner, rather than later. And you should consider it, too! read more

Bought their coupon on "groupon" as one of my wife's anniversary presents. I was hoping we could find a reliable and trustworthy service to work with, now that we have our first child. Allegedly they completed our 2500 sq. ft. home in 1 1/2 hrs. flat. Since we have worked with maids before we were both astonished. The previous maids took at least 3 hours to clean thoroughly and for you, the customer, to both see and feel that a complete job was done. While time spent is not the end all be all, I was shocked and as I walked through the house I became utterly disappointed. It simply looked like everything got a brief wipe, but no real cleaning. And that's the crux of it. They simply need to charge more money if they can't afford to do a good job. Doing a partial job does not cut it. The likelihood of them staying in business decreases daily, they will never get us as repeat clients and by the looks of the other reviews we are not the only ones. I wish them the best of luck wasting their hard earned marketing dollars to suck in unsuspecting newbies. 01/2012: I am doing a 3rd update on this company. I have to say that Kiran has turned my initial experience around so much that we are now using them on a twice monthly basis and I'm changing my rating to 4 stars. Yes, the first time I called this company to do a move in cleaning for me (June 2011), it was NOT stellar so I left a review stating what had happened and why I was not satisfied. Kiran, the owner, not only called once to apologize and offer to send out a crew to do a free cleaning....when I didn't return the call, she called a few more times until she got me directly and I decided to take her up on her offer. The second crew did an excellent job! They were very thorough and left my condo in excellent shape. About a month ago, my parents were coming to visit for Christmas and I wanted to make sure the new condo was sparkling so I gave them a call and again, great experience! Now we've had them come a 4th time and again, great job SO - we have decided to have them come out every 2 weeks! I will tell you this - if you have ANY issues with the service you've gotten, give Kiran a call and let her know - she will do everything in her power to make things right - that's some great customer service! read more

My ex-boyfriend moved out and I was looking for a fresh start, so on a whim I called Got It Maid to help me get my house back in order. I'm not great planner, so I was glad I was able to book at the last minute for a Friday afternoon. I really appreciated how the ladies who came to the house asked if there were areas I really wanted them to concentrate on. They did a great job of dusting and vacuuming. The sinks looked fantastic. Also, they weren't afraid of my two dogs and were very friendly to them, which really put me at ease. At the end, we did a walk through to make sure I was satisfied. Very easy to schedule an appointment and even came out two days before Thanksgiving for a large dinner we were having. I was given a window of 9:00-11:00am and the ladies showed up at 10 minutes before 11:00am. I guess if I had known that they weren't going to show up until almost 11:00am, I could have gone to the store and done stuff instead of sitting around but whatever. The ladies were very nice and did a really good job. They cleaned up our bathroom, leaving it virtually spotless and smelling great. The kitchen looked fantastic also, especially because she took extra time on the stove. The rest of the living room/kitchen/dining room looked good and smelled like a freshly cleaned house. The bedroom was ok, a whole corner of the bedroom floor was not touched and there was dust all over the floor, plus there was still dust on some of the blinds. All in all, the bedroom could have been better but it wasn't anything that needed to be cleaned again, I just did it myself. The downstairs foyer and steps wasn't to my liking, the steps had dust all over them and there was still dust near the one door. Totally could have been done better. That was the most disappointing part of the whole thing. All in all, the ladies did a good job and I will consider using them in the future. read more

Had Josie and Sarah clean my house for the first time and must say, I'm a believer! I'm extremely picky about my cleaning and these ladies impressed me. Josie was particularly friendly and knowledgeable, with excellent attention to detail. I was able to sit back (with my newborn daughter) and enjoy letting someone else do what I usually do (and exhaust myself). Reasonable rates and good customer service all around. Nice feature: they will call or text you 30 min before cleaners arrive so you don't have to wait around. I'll give them another star because they are really interested in making sure their customers are satisfied. Like I said before, I wasn't going to have them come out to redo their work, but they gave me a courtesy call after to find out what I thought. I told them I was disappointed and they came out yesterday to touch up the areas I was concerned about. They did an awesome job vacuuming the stairs, which is a pet peeve of mine. At the end of the day, they were fine for a one-time cleaning, but I'm happy I finally found my old cleaning service's phone number. Maybe I'm too picky, but if I can take a toothbrush and some cleaning spray and get rid of the soap scum in a jiffy - why can't professionals? They did explain to me that as each house and cleaning preference is different, it takes some tweaking to make sure their customers are satisfied (and they don't use bleach, which I think is essential in getting stuff really clean), so I appreciate the customer service aspect of their business. read more

I was shocked that this cleaning service didn't have higher reviews. I thought they did a great job cleaning and they were super friendly as well. I found them through Groupon and I am so glad I did! I will continue using their service even after I get my 3 visits. Revised: I felt the 2nd the 3rd visits weren't up to par with the job they did the first time. I told the owner this and she was VERY understanding and even offered me a free cleaning to make up for it. Well, my free cleaning was today and they did an AMAZING job again! I think the reason that the service wasn't as good the 2nd and 3rd time is because I didn't articulate exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with the cleaning service we just received. Adelina and Nora are fast, detailed, and pleasant to speak with. They were on time (early, actually), and even spent an extra few minutes to make sure everything was finished and that I was happy with their work. I rent a room in a home with four other guys, all in our mid 20s, so you can imagine how filthy this house was. The kitchen, bathrooms, and dusty living room area were in desperate need of some intense cleaning. Given the extent of dirtiness, and that they only had two hours (we bought a Groupon deal), the transformation is magical. They definitely know what they're doing, and do it very well. I tried them using a Groupon and they were great. It was easy to set up an appointment and I got a confirmation email. Two women arrived on time and asked for a walk thru. They were fast but thorough, taking a little over 2 hours for a 2400 sq ft house. The only reason they got 4 rather than 5 stars was because the cleaning was more of a surface clean, which they told me upfront it would be. I mopped the kitchen floor afterwards and got more dirt up. Because of the great experience, I've signed up for regular, twice monthly cleaning. We have used Got It Maid service for our home in Fullerton many times. This last time was for a move out service. I had to schedule this cleaning while we were out of town and I was unable to do a walk thru to show them what areas I needed them to focus on. No worries, I provided Karen with the information over the phone and let her know the time maximum hours I had budgeted for the cleaning. I used Got It Maid because of a great deal on Screaming Daily Deals. The cleaning was fine at first glance after a walk through with the gal who was here, I said thanks and sent her off. After coming back inside and really taking a look around, I noticed the ceiling fan blades were cleaned but not the bulbs, furniture was dusted but not anything ON the furniture. Picture frames and paneled doors were not dusted either. The floors were "mopped" with a wet rag so any spots on the floors were not removed. A bottle of Windex I keep in my bathroom is gone too. Not a big deal, but still... I don't normally use a cleaning service but called them in to clean before a big party I definitely will NOT be using them again and will NOT refer them to anyone. read more

I too bought three cleanings (for 2500 sq ft) via Groupon. I booked them for the day before Thanksgiving as I was having family over for the holiday. Anyway, on the day of the cleaning at 3pm, I get a call at work from the maids at my house, telling me that they cannot clean my house because the Groupon only over covers a general cleaning and my house is considered a 'deep cleaning.' I asked for the definition of a 'deep cleaning' as the Groupon made no indication of that, but the woman at my house would not give me a definition or any specific examples and suggested I call the office and speak with Kiran. I was a little upset by this because Kiran was not at my house, so how could she speak as to the details of why my house was not eligible for the standard cleaning? I called her, and she reiterated that my house fell under the 'deep cleaning' category. I asked her to define a deep cleaning and she described it as a post-renovation type cleaning. We had not done any recent renovations aside from some painting (which does not create dirt or dust). Our bathrooms were clean, so there was no intense scrubbing needed. We have no hardwood/tile everywhere - no carpet at all. We do have a dog and she sheds like mad, but no other cleaner has ever insisted our house was dirtier than a standard cleaning. This includes another Groupon cleaning which I continue to use at full price because they were absolutely amazing. I again requested from Kiren the exact details about my house that made it a 'deep cleaning,' and she said it is a judgement call by her maids. I told her it was not fair to make a ruling without any justification as to why. She asked if I am a professional cleaner. She said hers are, so they are the ones in the position to make that determination. It gets WAY better! (NOT) Kiren gave me 2 options: I could either indicate specific parts (about half) of the house I wanted cleaned, or I could pay additional hundreds of dollars to upgrade to a deep clean. Neither of these were acceptable as I needed the whole house cleaned for Thanksgiving, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money beyond what I was expecting. I was apalled. I tried to find a compromise, and suggested that if they were only willing to clean half of my house on the groupon, I would be willing to use two of the groupon cleanings (I paid $245 for 3 visits) to do the whole house. She said no, there was a limit of 1 Groupon per visit. I guess she knew she had me cornered, considering the date and time, and wanted to milk it. Things got very heated, and she said if I didn't choose between her two options, she was going to have her maids leave. When I didn't choose, she said she was calling her maids to leave. I asked if that was the type of business she ran, where she left people hanging the day before Thanksgiving with no time to find another solution. She asked if I was the type of person who (verbatim folks) tried to cheat people with Groupons and wanted to force people to work below minimum wage! She said that it would take her maids 3 hours to clean my house, and that for the price paid for the Groupon, would be forcing them to work below minimum wage. Are you kidding me? Who talks to people that way? Especially a customer? She was SO rude! And she was not even at my house! I was in tears on the phone trying to figure how to save Thanksgiving when I still had work to do before I could head home. And the kicker is that she completely missed the point of a Groupon! She was basing the calculations of how much work the maids should do on what $85 would buy. I didn't buy an $85 cleaning. I was supposed to be getting a $300 cleaning (per the Groupon!) and Got It Maid was supplementing the difference in order to gain business and new clients. This was clearly NOT her intention and I suspect that anyone who bought the Groupon got a very subpar cleaning based on the money they paid for the Groupon NOT the supposed value of the Groupon. I hope Groupon takes this up with them and clarifies they are supposed to be giving people a $300 cleaning, NOT an $85 cleaning. It's abusing the Groupon system. She ended it saying she was pulling her maids and hung up on me. In the meantime my husband spoke to the maids at the house and they worked out cleaning the common areas only. They did so, but it was not even worth having them clean that. The floors were vacuumed and mopped, and the kitchen sink was cleaned, but counters were not wiped down and nothing was dusted. As Kiran pointed out, I am not a professionaly cleaner, but I could have done what they did in about 30 minutes. I guess that's what $85 buys you in her mind. This is the first time I ever had to call to complain. Groupon had excellent, understanding customer service, and offered to give me a full refund. *Edit: Yelp removed her scathing response in which she listed out my FIRST AND LAST name to warn other businesses. Do NOT use this service. I used them once for a move out cleaning because they were very inexpensive and guaranteed their work. It's a good thing, because I ended up needing them to come back to take care of about five things they hadn't done the first time around. The second time I used them was for a basic cleaning. I decided to give them another chance because once again, they were the cheapest. The two ladies who came and cleaned my studio apartment missed all sorts of things, and in addition, broke my blinds. Stupidly, I hired them one more time for another move out service. I was desperate for help and they were the only ones who would come on such short notice. Except...they didn't actually show up. Since I was moving out of town, I didn't even know that they hadn't shown up until my landlord contacted me three days later to tell me that he had hired cleaners and that he would deduct that cost and the two days the apartment was not ready for the new tenants out of my deposit. After contacting Got It Maid, I was told the owner was "sick" but would get back to me. Still waiting... Please do yourself a favor and don't use this company! Don't be a dummy like me. I've gone through 3 maid services before finally finding this godsend. All the particulars that I had issues with in my earlier services: Thorough cleaning, straightening the books and mags (and everything else not tied to the walls (I'm slightly OCD), not asking for water or lunch (!?), etc. AND these women bring their own cleaning supplies, including vacuum cleaner! All the while, with impeccable respectful attitudes. When I asked them the first time, if they'd tidy in a certain manner and make sure they get the paneled doors, they were, "of course". And they always remember without fail. I know they clean innumerable homes, all with different styles and peeves....but knowing they keep mine (2+1 house) in their photographic memory is just absolute professionalism. And it's a total bargain, considering they come every other week. Also, if the regular girls can't make it, they always send someone just as good, briefed with all my particulars. Alright, so I'm renting a home right now for 3 months. I moved in and the entire house was DIRTY! I cleaned it and lets just say I'm not the cleaning type. I have guests coming in this next weekend and I needed the house spotless. I called all around (Merry Maids and other well known cleaning companies)...they all quoted me around $200-300. I decided to dig a little deeper and found Got It Maid cleaning online. I called and they quoted me $125 for an 1800 sqft house! I was in shock! I quickly said yes yes yes lets have someone over pronto! They came today at 10 am, 2 sweet girls, and they finished the house in about 1.5 hours. They did such an amazing job! I will be totally asking them to come back before I move out. Their staff is professional and I know you typically do not tip for house cleaning services, but I just had to...they were THAT good! I would totally reccomend them to anyone. I would not use "Got it Maid" again. 1. The price is ridiculous. I bought the 2,500 sq. ft. cleaning for $85 which was a big savings compared to the $180 price. What we got was two maids for two hours. Thus, we paid over $20 per hour and the regular price is over $45 per hour. This is just plain way too high for a maid service. 2. I tried three times to schedule "God it Maid." The first two times I called I got an answer machine and left messages. Then I sent an Email and finally got a call back from the second message I sent. What a hassle. 3. We scheduled our appointment several weeks in advance just before a party in our home. They didn't show up so we called them. They said that they didn't have us on the schedule but would send someone anyway. Totally unreliable. 4. When the two maids showed up, they complained that our house was way too big to clean. We told them that we paid for 2,500 sq. ft. and showed them the areas to clean. My wife had to hassle this out with the dispatcher on the phone until they grudgingly agreed to do the cleaning. 5. I used their service a couple of months back and had a horrible experience. I didn't want to write a review on Yelp but then thought that it would be worth letting people know who may end up using them and have the same experience. The biggest problem wasn't really the cleaners, although one person arrived late, had a bad attitude and didn't do a great job the other person was very nice and sort of made up for it. The worst part was the owner who was extremely rude to me and continued to rant insults at me until I told her to stop and leave me alone. NO stars for this service! Gotitmaid suck big time. My wife found this service on yelp and set up an appointment to clean up a place we were moving into. Agreed the place needed lot of cleaning, but inspite of spending 3 hours I do not understand how they could overlook most of the dirt in the house! I moved in today and can spot cobwebs everywhere in arm's reach!!!! They never bothered to clean the cabinets well too. The apartment was empty when I left the cleaners, and I got back after 3hours when they were done and the cleaners were literally running out of the house! They did a very bad rush job. I don't deny the house needs a detail cleaning, but I expect the cleaners, having paid them a lot of $$$$, to atleast clean-up most of the visible dirt/cob webs. I hired Got it Maid to do a Move-Out Cleaning (which is more involved than regular housekeeping) because I did not have time to do it myself and did not want to forfeit the cleaning cost named in my lease. The two girls showed up on time, I paid them and tipped them, left my key in the landlord's mailbox and I went back to work. They cleaned only as if they were cleaning up after a meal. Marks were left everywhere, burner pans were barely acceptable, and it was as if they didn't even mop - the list goes on. So, on top of the $135 I paid to Got it Maid for my 375-sf apartment, I also had $185 deducted from my deposit for not leaving it in "Move-In Clean" condition. I got a Groupon for their services for three cleanings. My experience with the handful of companies I have hired over the years has been mixed, but I have to say this ranks at the top for professionalism. We had three different crews, which isn't unexpected, though as a regular customer I hope they would try to give us the same each week, barring turnover. The first time they came, quite a few things were lacking, but honestly, that is to be expected with any new cleaning company. I called to explain this to Kiran (I think the owner) who was very responsive and sent out her lead person the next time, who was very detailed, enthusiastic, and took notes for future teams (!). The third time wasn't quite as great, but they did a very good job. It wasn't a deep cleaning, but they do offer that as well and I plan to re-hire this company based on their three-week performance. I think the key with them is to give feedback. They seem to very much want to do a great job and appreciate being told how they can improve. read more

This was a great cleaning service. I bought the groupon and wanted to try them out. I must says my wife and I were really happy with this service. They not only emailed us but called us and informed us about our scheduled appointment. They did a review phone call the next day and asked how the service was. We scheduled our 2nd appointment and have the 3rd ready to go. read more
