This location is inside the same complex as Big 5 off 38th, right next to Sketchers. Parking here is alright considering the location. So happy that I don't have to drive to Federal Way anymore for a bubble waffle! Before they only had one flavor, but now they added chocolate and oreo.. Sometimes I do half original and half chocolate and get a side of the oreo puff cream. The location has a few tables inside and even have games you can play which are near the spot you place your order. Stopped by Happy Lemon in Tacoma to try out their drinks. Upon looking at their menu, their isn't a lot of options for non caffeinated drinks. So I went with the mango lemonade with lychee jelly. I also went here with my sister and she ordered the jasmine green tea with salted cheese foam. Overall the drinks were good. The service was nice and friendly. The overall ambiance of the store is really nice. Like the designs and art on the walls. My only complaint is if they offer more non caffeinated drink options or non caffeinated teas. read more

This is by far the best happy lemon I've been to! I've been to the other happy lemons in Washington and one in San Diego. None of them have the powdered match on top of my milk tea with salted cheese and egg pudding, but here! They also make the egg pudding perfectly each time. They are very consistent each and every single time I order. I always drive just a little further out of the way for this spot! I really like that they have mobile stamp cards because I'm always losing them! I've gotten a few free drinks already (10 stamps for 1 free drink!) I spent about $50 a month here. I have fallen in love with a strawberry green tea with lychee, the Oreo waffle and puff cream. The green tea is not very sweet. You cannot choose your ice or sugar level like you can at most boba places, but that's okay. I wanted to like this place. Went in on a nice day and was hoping for a slushy but they don't have that "line" of products like other Happy Lemon locations. I ended up getting a regular lemon black iced tea. It rang up to $7.17. I paid with a 20 and was handed back 12 dollars and told they don't have change and pointed to a tiny sign on the register. We've been here three times. Once for the grand opening and two times after to give it another chance. The drinks here are average in taste, interior looks great, but the service and wait times are insane. Grand opening day we watched drinks being made for friends/family of the owners (they went behind counters, hugged, talked) while we waited with others for over an hour. (I wish I was lying) Drinks were made unorganized and out of order, and then we didn't even get toppings we paid for. We decided to try again months later but the same issues occurred. There is always just one employee working in the front handling everything while at least one if not multiple people are in the back area. Door dash orders are prioritized and in store orders will literally get pushed aside for those to be made instead. Second time we waited 25 minutes with 1 order in front of us. Third time we waited 20 minutes with only one order in front of us again. This is nothing against the bobaristas, but management really needs to organize themselves better.
