I've been to a lot of Korean corn dog shops, and eaten a lot of Mochi donuts. Happy Mochi has some of my favorite! I always get the all-mozz corn dogs wherever I go (idk what it is but the half + half at any corn dog spot gives me the ick). Here, the dogs are always freshhhh and the cheese pulls are incredible. Even though they said a 10-15 minute wait, I waited maybe 5. Enough time for me to eat a donut and take a few sips of my drink. Speaking of, recently I learned that Vietnamese coffee is meant to be sipped slowly so that the cream and ice melt it down a little and the flavors marinate. Idk if that's true or not but I'm a member of the Slow Drinkers Club and, by the time I got home about an hour later, my Viet Coffee Cloud was at its best: perfectly creamy and delicious. It's now 4:30 in the afternoon and I'm going to save the rest for tomorrow which, usually, would gross me out. But CM Rachel (or is it CD now?) told me that's how it's supposed to be done!! Back to the food... I'm obsessed with the corn flakes corn dog topping: it makes the coating so crunchy and mixed with the sugary sweet... omg... 12/10. Plus, I haven't seen that topping option anywhere else! The potato topping is also great. At other places, the potato chunks are larger and can sometimes be overcooked, but here the dog was fried to perfection. In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, they had a Lucky Charms Donut and it was honestly the best flavor I've ever had. I know, I was shocked, too. The frosting had a very light berry flavor (maybe raspberry?) and the cereal on top added a nice crunch. It was gone before the corn dogs came out :D There was more seating than I recall from previous visits: a few tables and chairs inside and a few outside. There was also a selfie donut wall and a toy claw machine. Very cute! I regret not getting the Happy Meal (Drink + Donut + Corn Dog + Toy for $16) but... next time. My daughter and I stopped by Happy Mochi while running errands, and I'm so glad we found it because it's such a fun little spot. We usually go to another boba place off Florin, but this one caught our eye right away. It's super cute and has that whimsical, bubbly vibe the second you walk in. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were actually the only ones there, which made it easy to take our time. Since it was our first visit, we asked the cashier what she recommended, and she pointed us to the Strawberry Cloud. We ended up getting the strawberry cloud, and my daughter loved it. It definitely satisfied that boba craving she had. The space itself is small and quaint, but in a good way. One of my favorite parts was that you could actually sit inside a giant mochi for pictures, which, of course, we had to do. They also had a claw machine filled with Hello Kitty and Pokémon plushies, which added to the whole vibe. The only thing I noticed was that the claw machine handle looked a little worn and was missing the cover, so it was just the metal piece, but everything else felt clean and well-kept. I pulled up to Happy Mochi before an event just looking for a quick snack. Lately I've been on a churro mochi donut kick, so I figured why not give this spot a shot and see how it stacks up. I saw a few online/delivery orders bagged up nicely but I was the only customer. The business is clean, and is welcoming. The employee was friendly and processed my order quickly. I ordered a potato covered beef dog and a set of three donuts (taro, strawberry/chocolate, and red velvet). When he found out I was grabbing my food to go--as part of a long ride home, he packed extra napkins for me without asking-which was very much appreciated. IMPORTANT NOTE: They have a ton of up charges on the options. It wasn't noticeable for the topping, and I didn't realize it was extra until I saw the receipt. I recommend looking at the menu ahead of time! The drinks are my favorite of the items they have, but the meal is great for those that want to sample some of everything Happy Mochi has to offer!...but if you're not used to a ton of junk food, you may feel a bit unwell if you consume it all at once. The packaging for their variety of what we call in the North Carolina a corn dog is like a gourmet corn dog. We got the blue cloud and ube strawberry milk teas, the mozzarella potato and hot Cheeto mochi dogs, and the strawberry and ube churro (?) mochi donuts (forgot the name). I've tried Happy Mochi Delta Shores a few times now. Most recently, I ordered a custom K-Dog just the other day. The last few times I've been here, I've ordered a creation that I came up with while super stoned (which is how you know it's good): a half and half dog (half hot dog, half mozzarella) with both barbecue Western AND Hot Cheetos Toppings. They always ask me, "So, you want the Hot Cheetos AND the sugar AND the barbecue sauce?" as if it's a little crazy, but I'm not the only one who enjoys this combo-- SmartPop has a similar seasonal Christmas flavor. So, the hot dog is battered and wrapped in onion rings, deep fried, rolled in Hot Cheetos dust and sugar, and topped in barbecue bacon drizzle-- it's some kind of foodie heaven. My only complaint is that they always skewer the dog so that you get the cheese first, and the hot dog second. I like to save the best for last, so I always end up un-skewering and re-skewering it upside-down. I've probably been to a dozen different K-Dog establishments, and Happy Mochi is probably one of my top three. The donuts, drinks, and K-dogs that I've ordered here have consistently been good. The customer service is usually pretty good. I remember being upset on one particular occasion because the cashier got salty with me when I asked for napkins (which they turned out to be out of), but that has not been an issue again since. The shop is usually pretty clean, although it always has a funny smell-- yesterday, for some reason, it smelled like an 80s hair salon. Tucked in a busy plaza this mochi nut is a smaller location than most. Although they have a few seatings inside and out, there isn't much. Wouldn't be the best "hangout" spot especially not for bigger crowds. It's pretty busy with a lot in and outs people ordering to go. Unsure of other locations but this location has a pretty nice deal right now. Not sure if it's just a promotional for now, but their Happy Meal Deal is a steal! I got half mozzarella half hotdog. The hotdog was very small and definitely not as good as the cheese. the cheese makes it really great. I got mine with potatoes on the outside. Cute little pink place! This place made me happy. Hence the name 'Happy Mochi' :). It was my first time here. They offer mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs and drinks. A lot of different flavors to choose from. Mochi donuts were chewy but not soft enough for my liking. A bit too sweet as well. I ordered the potato and western mochi corn dogs. Both were really good but seemed kinda small and skinny. For the drinks, I got 50% sweetness for Thai tea. Luckily I did because 100% would probably give me cavities lol. I also tried the brown sugar oreo with 50% sweetness as well. It was good but I'll have to lower to 25% next time. The boba wasn't soft and chewy enough for me. Service was friendly and quick. In a nutshell; deceivingly like mochinut, but I'd say about 25% better. In terms of corn dogs anyway. The corn dogs look really good. Especially the three featured specialty corn dogs. Taste pretty decent as well. Now the place is rather pink and in the back of my head I seem to think it's rather too similar to Mochinut, not sure if they're owned by the same owner but just can't shake the similarities. Though if you don't get too distracted by the pink aesthetics then it's a neat place to hang out at when you're in the area. Went here with a friend for a Yelp event a long time ago but that review didn't go on this actual page. I came back to try more donuts. They have I think a weekly or monthly rotation of new flavors. So this month there's Lucky Charms. Today is St. Patricks so had to go with that one. The donut base is the same for all and tastes as a donut should. But the people in the shop are super chill. It's a new local business and it's pretty niche, an alternative to Mochinut which is kinda big. These places with the limited time flavors always get me coming back. And basically put Lucky Charms on anything I will eat it. Not pasta though. That's where I draw the line. Small cute pink interior. Tagged along with a friend to a yelp event and took the opportunity to grab some snacks myself. Decided to taste a little bit of everything today and boy was I happy that everything was to perfection. We arrived a bit early so to kill time we tried the nail salon next door. Once the hour had passed and the location was finally open it was a packed house. The service was great and the lady behind the register was friendly , helpful, and accommodating. Very cute decor here, but everything else was average to me. I was very disappointed in the selection of mochi donuts when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. There were six different flavors but two of them were nearly the same flavor. When two of their popular flavors ran out about an hour later, they did not refill it, which left four different flavors to choose from. The waffle cone toppings on the glazed donut were really soggy from sitting on the donut. The only flavor donut I liked was the churro mochi donut. My taro latte was good. I tried the strawberry fruit tea as well, but it was too tart for me. The game that they have in the store is a cute concept and it only costs 50 cents to play. However, it seemed impossible to actually win any of the prizes with the claw haha my 3-year old daughter had a fun time here between the huge donut prop, neon light mirror, and the claw game. I was at Delta Shores for a lunch and did a double take when I saw Happy Mochi. It used to be a Mochinut but transformed in July 2023 to become Happy Mochi. The store has cute outdoor seating with pink umbrellas, the inside is PINK, and there are a couple fun photo ops, including one with a giant pink sprinkled donut. The service was friendly and they were kind enough to walk us through the new menu options including a lot more drink choices as well as more corn dog toppings. On this visit I ended up ordering a Thai tea and a Vietnamese Coffee, but I'll definitely be back to try some of the Korean Corn Dogs- they have a fruity pebble coating option that I'll have to try sometime! read more

Place is very cute and lots of photo ops however, it's tiny in there and smells really bad. I have no idea if the workers are aware of this but as soon as you open the door you get a wift of fresh sewer right on your face which made me lose my appetite.
