She called the store a few hours later asking the lady to check for the AirPods. She knew exactly where she left them. The girl on the phone said nope, they are not here. But the "find my AirPods" app was telling us, that was exactly where they were. My daughter called again, told her the app is telling us they are there. Again, was told no, they checked everywhere a customer must have taken them. So we decided to drive down, spoke to cashier and the front end girl again, they both said no they are not here. My daughter showed the Find My iPhone app showing her AirPods were 12 feet in front of her, inside the kitchen. They then went in the back with her phone/app directing to the AirPods and came back with her AirPods! We were leaving and all three employees were laughing. I frequent this place a few times per month but they just lost my business. Showed up with my wife at 8:20 for a quick dinner for 2 but were turned away from being seated. They should post that their last seating is an hour before they close or you're out of luck (even if there are only 3 filled tables in the restaurant.) Literally the worst Vietnamese sandwich I've gotten from anywhere, ordered their BBQ chicken sandwich and you would expect a grilled bbq chicken bahn mi from any other Vietnamese restaurant but no, this is literally a grilled bbq chicken COVERED IN store bought bbq sauce, BBQ SAUCE. We thought we'd try a different Pho place. What a mistake that was they put cilantro when I asked them not to, because I'm allergic to it. I had to wash the noodles and chop up some onions to put on top of our Pho. I called and they said next time we order we'll make sure that the cilantro is off. There isn't going to be a next time. So this is a two part review based on menu items I've tried. So I've eaten here four times now. I like to give a new place the benefit of the doubt. When I first tried this restaurant, it had just opened. My first thoughts were, the soup base is bland. Very water like. Decent portions. I like the adventerous side in regards to meats, but I really like my beef tendon to be tender, not chewy or hard. I have no idea how to prepare it, but I've been told it is how long you cook the tendon. In this regard the tendon was OK. Not as soft as I would like. A good tendon will almost melt into the broth. The service was good and very friendly. The second time I had the same opionion about the soup. My wife and kids wanted Pho, and this place was close by. I told them my initial thoughts. For my meal I chose off the chinese menu. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. My last meal which I had yesterday I tried the Garlic chicken, my youngest daughter had the chicken yakisoba. My oldest had the pho. Again my opinion of the soup is bland. However the Garlic chicken and yakisoba were very good. So I post a mixed medium review. If you want fairly good chinese food, I suggest trying this place. Howerver, craving Pho soup, you are better off with some of the other choices around the area. read more

I just bought chicken teriyaki and s&s chicken because I thought since the pho and fried rice were good that other things on the menu would be good but unfortunately I was wrong. Ordered pho to go and received noodles, broth and meat, none of the standard vegetables that come with pho were included. No sauce, lemon, sprouts, nothing. We have been coming here for awhile and the food is always really tasty, great portions too. Today I ordered the generals chicken with rice and i was really disappointed compared to the last time I ordered it. Today's chicken look like it was last nights left overs. Didn't seem fresh at at all. The meat was really dark and dry in some spots, after I started to notice this food didn't look fresh at all I stopped eating it and sure enough within minutes my stomach was gurgling when I ordered a few weeks ago my chicken was crispy , saucy and had lots of chili peppers , today my meat was soggy and barely warm, no extra sauce at the bottom of the meat as if it was fresh and no chili's !!! They opened at 10:30am , I ordered my food at 11 and it took me less then 10 minutes to get there and when I arrived my order was already on the counter waiting to be bags. My first experience here was definitely pleasant. I decided to do a pick up order at the resturaunt and when I walked in, the place wasn't necessarily busy. The server in front who ringed in my food was extremely nice thus I gave her a tip at the end. My first time left me a good impression, no doubt. Unfortunately, my next visit wasn't as pleasant like the first. I made a call ahead of time for just 2 small phos and 1 boba tea and one of the servers let me know in advance that it was going to be a 20 minute wait because it was busy. Once we walked in, the place was pretty full. There were two different other servers who never greeted us and kind of the awkwardly stared and ignored our presence until they actually runged up our food. They girl told me it was going to be a 20 minute wait once again and I was pretty understanding. I'm a waitress as well so I know how it is when dinner rush starts happening and you're basically depending on the kitchen to make the food come out ASAP. Plus, I wasn't in a rush but I did also want to come home and relax after a long day at work. We almost ended waiting for an hour for our food to be done. Hey, I'm a pretty patient person so I didn't really let it bother me. The only thing that bother me is their customer service skills. Tip of advice to the two servers, make sure to always update your customers especially if they're waiting for a long time so they don't get angry at you. The servers never spoke to us once. They only did when they rung up the order and once we had to walk up there to check up on the food ( in which case it was finally ready.) And 2nd of all, smile more and when you're being apologetic with other customers, at least look like you mean it. Scanning the room, a lot of customers were not only frustrated but confused. After trying this place out, I can confidently say that there are NO decent pho places in Covington. Can't really say much, the pho was definitely not worth the 6+, had the taste of MSG lingering in my mouth, and the Banh Mi... Omg do not order the Banh Mi... The bread was soggy, no crunch, barely had any pickled carrots, cucumber or veggies. The meat was super salty, and it tasted like beef jerky. Didn't have any of that mayo they use, or w/e... I've seen many of their coupons behind my Safeway receipt so I figured to give this place a try. I ordered a small pho with meatballs and egg rolls. The pho soup base was really bland. This is how I judge if this place is a good pho restaurant. I usually don't have to add any of the plum sauce or sriracha, but this one, I had to add a lot to get some sort of flavor. The egg rolls was something else. It was weird. It seemed like it wasn't cooked all the way or the stuffing in there had weird ingredients. I couldn't even tell what was inside it. Also the sauce that came with it had no taste. Maybe I was better off ordering a rice plate. I think this is my first and last time I will visit. Sorry.
