Ok so off the cuff, reallllllly bad parking set up. If the lot is full, then there is nowhere to park. BUT! That did not deflect from the 5 stars! We got in, went to the bar and ordered to go. Ordered a few appetizers and drinks while waiting. The appetizers were so good. Got the potstickers and the crab ragoons! Try those!! Service was good. Three employees managing the whole front of the house. It's a smaller place and I don't think they have the room for the line they had out the door. Our food was ready, paid and left. The food was great, ribs a little undercooked for my taste but it was still good. Check this place out! read more

We had such a fun experience at Happy Sushi in Spanish Fort! The food was really good, and the whole setup with the little "train" delivering your plates is just adorable. It makes the whole meal feel interactive and different in a good way! The atmosphere is very laid-back, not stuffy or uptight at all, which made it perfect for a family outing. My dad was in town, and it ended up being such a sweet and fun night. The appetizers were amazing (Crab Rangoons) and everything we tried; ramen bowls, noodles, sushi came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The price point is good too; it was very affordable for the quality and the whole experience. Service was friendly the entire time. I'm so glad someone posted a picture of this sushi place in our South Alabama FB food group. Let me tell you, this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the Alabama Roll, Salmon Roll, gyoza, miso soup, CA crab roll, CA roll, fried rice, Sin City, and a few more. We demolished all of these dishes. The restaurant was busy, but they handled it well. I absolutely love this place -- it will definitely become our spot! Three staff members did their best, and the place never stopped being busy. Truly excellent food, and even though they were short-staffed, the service was still good! I'll be back! read more

Great service, fantastic food and we loved the sushi train. We tried the Sin City Roll and the Happy Roll and we were definitely happy. We were adventurous and tried the sweet omelet nigiri. So happy to have a Happy Sushi on this side of the bay! The quality of the food is fantastic and full of flavor. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Love to watch the train deliver food to the tables. The happy fries are one of my favorite dishes when I'm craving something different, and my picky son LOVES the bulgogi fries! The non-sushi items are the key here. The sushi itself is very boring and uninspired. But the bulgogi fries, soups, and ramen are terrific. The servers are very nice and the restaurant is clean. Parking is tight and do not park at the gas station. read more

Finally found a great place to get a bento box without having to drive to Ichiban in Foley. Love the little train that delivers your food to the booths in the center of the restaurant. Always great service. Just wish they had more parking spots. read more

This place got a 10/10 for me!!! I got the teriyaki bowl with salmon and fried rice. Hubby got the tonk ramen bowl extra hot extra hot with crispy pork. One daughter got a dragon roll, and the other got a plain tonk ramen bowl medium hot with chicken/noodles/broth and nothing else. We also got the crab Rangoon and egg rolls. My husband and I had a HAPPY lunch today. We tried the NEW Happy Sushi restaurant in Spanish Fort. We had Happy Fries, that were loaded with lots of deliciousness. A Happy Poke Bowl, that was fresh and full of flavor. The Sushi Taco's were amazingly different and very crispy. A fun side, is the food runner train that delivers your order by stopping at your table. If you're looking for a different yet traditional new Asian restaurant, you should give this place a try. I was super excited to finally get to try it out. The parking lot can get full rather quickly but inside was quaint. I got a deep fried roll and it just wasn't the deep fried I was expecting.
