Tasty food, great service. Glad this restaurant took over the old Teriyaki restaurant. Prices are reasonable with generous portions.

Even though I have moved to Lake Oswego, I still will drive to Vina Deli for their delicious food…read more I have been coming here for many years. I enjoyed the visits with the owners - a sweet and delightful couple. I went back today after a long absence and met their son who is now the owner. I asked about his parents and he said they were semi retired. Well, let me tell you their son is also kind and helpful. I ordered 2 phos and some other treats - Vietnamese yogurt with black sticky rice. I love the combo truly comfort food. I also ordered a savory pastry delicious crust and a pork meatball inside. I also love their lychee jelly drink. So good that I finished both in the car on my drive home. The pho hit the spot as well. I ordered takeout and was impressed by the way everything was packaged and with care. Please go try this spot or if you have not gone for awhile give it a try.

Food was great - I got a roast beef croissant sandwich and my husband got the Vietnamese style grilled chicken. And then we just split each in half and shared because both were so good. I feel we are going to be coming here quite a lot. Great food, nice people, and I don't feel guilty and depressed about spending 40 bucks at a nasty fast food chain LOL. Hopefully they get lots of business and keep the great value!

I think there's no more than 10 seats but if the weather's nice they have some outdoor seating, too. The wall had fun drawings and artwork on it which was fun to look at while waiting for the food. Staff: got our orders. Food: I got their Tori Paitan with char siu for $14. The price was reasonable with the portion they give. The char siu was fatty and the egg was runny. It was piping hot and the soup base was not bad. I didn't feel thirsty afterwards. The noodles were cooked nicely. It is a little further away for me just to eat ramen and nothing was outstanding to me. In fact, I felt a little rushed and couldn't catch up with my friends because of the way the store was set up and few spots. We didn't want to keep chatting because that means other customers would have to wait. So, if you want to quickly eat some ramen, come here.

I don't really care because I love the food so much!! My husband and I get the tofu ramen and it's so so good so I can't even imagine how good the meat ramen is! Go and enjoy!

We were able to be seated quickly and the restaurant is clean and well designed. One thing that I especially like is that you self serve everything. There is nothing I dislike about all you can eat places than saying "oh can I have the whatever but only 2 pieces" if I'm just trying it for the first time. Having the freedom to get smaller portions is a game changer. They also have a sauce bar which is always a good time. Another thing is that I personally don't mind $45 per person. To me it says that they know their worth and are going to actually try to stay open rather than undercut themselves. Yes, its a little bit spendy, but its all you can eat meat, its a special splurge meal anyway its not like we'll be going on the regular. Lastly - I love the icecream freezer. A+

We were in town for a football tournament and seductive whisper of sizzling meat was calling. Hotpot Palace came through in the clutch and the food hit the spot. My only knock is how disorganized the bar felt. Everything was available but it just didn't flow right. I found myself bouncing from one spot to the next to get everything I needed. Otherwise, they have a great selection of meats, a decent cold bar, and even a little dessert station after. If you find yourself in search of a shabu spot in Tigard, you will probably do well at the Hotpot Palace.

We were seated quickly -- it was a nice day, so we sat in their lovely outdoor dining area. They brought us room temperature waters (not a fan), and took our drink orders rather quickly. Service was good throughout our visit. I ordered the IPA Bacon Cheeseburger, which came (over)loaded with lots of fresh vegetables, a large burger patty, and the IPA mustard sauce. I don't want to complain about a burger being piled high with bacon, pickles, and fresh onions, lettuce, & tomatoes; but it was difficult to eat. While the Challah bun was delicious, it was woefully undersized for the task of holding it all together. I enjoyed it, but felt the IPA sauce was lost in the midst of everything else, and I also thought the burger patty was under-seasoned. I ordered fries as a side, and unfortunately they were the "battered" variety, which I just don't enjoy. Restaurants -- please, just serve normal French fries, without any batter on them! We knew from past experience that baked goods and desserts are really what La Provence is good at, so we ordered Tiramisu for dessert. Their very non-traditional take on this Italian classic would probably some people uneasy, but it was delicious. It had a dense chocolate cake base, with a thick layer of mascarpone mousse on top of that, then a topping of thin, crunchy, chocolate hazelnut ganache. Not too sweet, with a variety of textures to enjoy. We would definitely come back again, but I'd get something other than burger and fries.
