This is one of those places where people on social media video and boast about how much food they give you especially for the price. And, they are owned by Chinese folks so the food is more traditional than not. Major call out... CASH ONLY so bring cash. The two items combo is the best deal. They also use egg noodles for the fried noodles which I prefer.

    1 item combo $10.88. Deal!

Tasty, friendly, popular, huge portions! The gauge of the chow mein noodle is fine and al dente vs the thicker softer type. A welcome alternative. The stir fried rice bore a welcome char and good salty taste. The cashier (cash only) was friendly and engaging. (BTW - That dracena needs water and fertilizer). Also the faded waterfall pics somehow fail to evoke the full China effect.... Can we get a neon dragon ? There's also - unlike most quick Chinese spots - a restroom. To rest.

My rice and some kind of hair

I was in there yesterday 9/12 I got rice kung, pai chicken and beef and broccoli and found some kind of hair in my food this is the first time that I have found something in my food up until yesterday it was my favorite place to eat will not be eating here again

2 Item Combo - Chow Mein, Mushroom Chicken, and Hunan Mixed Vegetables

What can I say, it's a no frills Chinese fast food place. You get bang for your buck and it is quite filling. The service here is quick and easy, but nothing fancy. It is definitely a mom and pop shop type of business so the aesthetics of this place is nothing to be thrilled about. The food is plentiful and quite tasty. Sometimes I just want to quick and greasy Chinese fast food.

Me and my brother got food poisoning immediately after we ate this. We didn't even finish it of how quick we started feeling sick.

Sorry, not good. Noodles are very thin and taste like plastic. Place is always packed and I can't understand why.

They really hook your plate up here which is fantastic! Definitely worth it, but it sucks they don't take credit or debit cards for payment.

I told my wife like to this Chinese restaurant in La Puente that I heard recommended by this influencer who go and try out this restaurants. We headed it to Jumbo Chinese restaurant to try it out, when we got there a short line and see people enjoying their food. We look at the deals and prices we're surprise about price great deals including the side. We're looking what to order my wife perfer to get a bowl with one item she fried rice with orange chicken. Then I order two items all chow mein and my two items were broccoli beef and bbq pork then we egg roll and four seasem balls and two drinks to complete our order. I open my container wow it smell really good I a bite of bbq pork the pork was very tender and full of of the flavor but I was amazing flavor in the fat part so flavor I enjoy the fat better. The beef Broccoli was incredible good amazing flavor the beef was tender I enjoy it. My wife enjoy her bowl very much including the egg roll and seasem balls. Overall we enjoy the food at Jumbo Chinese food we need to come back again to try out different items.

[ PLACE ] In a random low end plaza, the area is janky. Lots of seating inside. [ VERDICT ] Affordable and tasty! This is my new go to chinese fast food that's not generic Panda Express. 5/5

The menu has pictures and describes what is included with each noodle dish. The signature noodles I ordered came with crispy pork and beef, and both were delicious. Guilin Rice Noodle vs. Taiwanese Rice Noodle…read more This was totally different from what I had envisioned when I first walked in a couple of months ago. At first, I was a little skeptical because the inside was quite dark, and the ambiance wasn't really what I preferred. But since I was already there, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a soup-based rice noodle dish that day. It was okay, the texture was more like regular noodles and not quite like the Southeast Asian-style thin rice noodles, I was familiar with. Then last Sunday, with the weather being so hot, I started thinking maybe their dry rice noodle would be a better choice. I looked through the menu, but some of the ingredient combinations were unfamiliar to me, so I decided to play it safe and ordered the crispy pork and beef dry rice noodle. It turned out to be a good choice. The portion was generous, a big bowl that even came with two small quail eggs. And a small bowl of chicken broth on the side. $12.99 When my order was ready, I picked it up and was guided to the sauce bar, where I could customize the flavor myself with hot sauce, soy sauce, chopped green onions, cilantro, and even dry peanuts ... etc. The DIY sauce bar was a fun touch, and the dry rice noodle gave me a completely different experience from my first visit. In the end, I enjoyed my lunch and took some leftovers home.

It has since changed ownership and become a Sichuan restaurant, which I was very interested in trying. The interior design hasn't changed much from the former Lu's Garden. The dishes we tried were quite authentic Sichuan style. We ordered the Home Style Pork Feet with Lima Beans ($18.99). The pork feet were very tender and flavorful, and the lima beans added a nice texture. The soup was especially delicious, and the dipping sauce reminded me of what I used to have in Chengdu when I was young. The Twice-Cooked Pork ($16.99) was excellent! the pork wasn't too fatty and was very flavorful, especially with the green peppers. The Chengdu Pork Blood Cubes in Red Pepper Broth ($21.99) were also very good. (I believe the English name may not be accurately translated.) The Sauteed Winter Melon with Chicken Fat ($13.99) was great as well. Overall, Sichuan Sizzling really exceeded my expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the Sichuan-style food. We were satisfied with the fast service as well, and the prices are fair. I will definitely visit again to try other specialty dishes like Fresh Frog in Rattan Pepper Broth with Ginger Sauce and Leatherjacket Fish.
