Always happy with our order. As like any other Chinese food, the food must be eat and serve warm. We ate the BBQ Pork, Fried Rice, Fried Noodle/Chow-Mein, Mix Vegetable, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Wing and all hit the spot. Their BBQ Pork in one of our favorite. You can tell which menu is customer favorites. The one that kept running out or being refilled often. The owner is very friendly. Now, we order them regularly for our church. Its makes me very sad to write this review. I haven't been here in years because I moved away this was one of my favorite places to go. Now they make you wait til 12 for bbq pork. That's ridiculous. But I waited because I remember it was amazing. WAS being the operative word the pork was horrible it was old, hard, and burnt. Been coming here for 7 years it never disappoints. Today I ordered green bean chicken. The only issue that I had was there was only three tiny pieces of chicken in my meal I think I had about 2 lbs of green beans snd onions but seriously three pieces of chicken and it's tiny chopped pieces. The food as it is is good, but it seems as of 2022 inflation is really driving up prices for this place. This is my favorite chinese fast food restaurant in LP but a plate of chow mein and also a 2 item combo cost us $19 and some change. Typically a 20 would cocer a decent amount of food here but not sure what happened. Either the prices sky rocketed up due to inflation or I got jipped. The food was still good but just something to think about when order from here. I should also state that i hadnt been here in a long while so this was a sudden change for me. read more

My brother told me about this place. It is very affordable and the food tastes great. They serve a very hefty portion which is great because it's enough food for 3-4 people, in my opinion. I usually share with my mom and even then we can't finish it. I've been lucky to be able to go when it's not busy because if you hit "rush hour", you'll be standing outside in line. I've seen it when I drive by. The food thus far has been fresh and hot out of the pan. No complaints here. read more

GREAT food.. FAST service and VERY reasonable prices. The line can easily stretch out the door at times... but the staff is pretty quick... and the food is always worth the wait . I think this is the best Chinese food to go. Hands down. I say this because a 2 item combo costs less than $6 AND it easily feeds 2 people (possibly 3 if everyone eats light). The portions they give are ginormous, yet the quality does not skimp at all. I usually get the chow mein with orange chicken and BBQ pork. Other items that I like are the fried shrimp and spicy chicken. This place can get pretty busy during lunch and dinner time, but it usually goes by fast. Our regular Chinese place was closed so we thought we would give them a try. What a disappointment. I mean the chow mein didn't have any flavor. The orange chicken was dry and the flavor was not very good. The string bean chicken was just mediocre. The beans were good, but the chicken was hard. The bar b que pork was all dried out. We went at dinner time, so the dishes should have been fresh, but they weren't. 2 two item plates and 3 egg rolls came to $19.36. We ended up throwing most of it away. I've been coming here for years. Sadly I live far but whenever I'm in the area I come with the family. Even if there is a big line they seem to go pretty fast. Good portion size for your money and friendly staff. I came here for lunch and the place could have used some cleaning up. There were not many people here so it wasn't due to a lunch rush. The food was a bit bland. The broccoli beef needed sauce and tasted as if everything was boiled in water. The Orange chicken was ok. I have had different variations of it in the past. This one was very sweet, not spicy at all, and the chicken was not crispy since it was soaked in an excess of sauce. The noodles had a bit of a smoky taste. I am not sure if this was they intended. Overall it was an ok experience. I do not believe I would come back since it doesn't stand out to me. *note:I had originally given this place a 3 star but after eating a bit the Food became very unappetizing. I love coming to happy wok, but not to this location. This is my second time here and upon walking in i noticed that the place looked dirty. Something about being in there just didnt feel right. The line was really long for lunch so that obviously means people like the food. After waiting my 15 minutes in line, i finally get to the front and was helped by the rudest chinese lady ever! she was continously rushing me and had a look of disgust when i changed my mind from lemon chicken to orange chicken. She filled up my whole container with food which was a good thing, so i thought. When i finally had the chance to eat my food i quickly noticed the food didnt taste as good as the other location. The broccoli beef i ordered only had 1 piece of beef which wasnt even that good! the orange chicken tasted fresh but didnt have too much flavor. The chow mein and the fried rice were mediocre. The best part of my meal was probably the fortune cookie. Another bad part of this place is that its cash only. So, if you want to go to a place where the line is long, the employees are rude, the food is tasteless and accepts only cash this is the best place for you. Happy Wok has been around forever. I want to say that I started coming here in the 90s. So that's fifteen some odd years. So yeah, if you've been going to the same place for that long - that deserves a 5 star rating. This place is super cheap. $6 for a 2 item combo and they fill those to-go containers to the brim. They used to wrap each container with a rubber band just to make sure it didn't spill. I order my meals half chow mein and half fried rice. Main items I always get are lemon chicken and the fried shrimp (.65 cents per piece) with the lemon sauce. Their orange chicken, BBQ pork and beef broccoli are all good as well. * They only accept cash. * They can do bigger orders for your family parties. read more

This place seriously has the best Chinese food ever! Their orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, beef broccoli and bbq pork are one of the best things about this place! I love coming here after a long hard day, or even casually as I am strolling around the neighborhood looking for some yummy Chinese food. Something about the food here just seems to relax me as I take in every bite. Not to mention how delicious it is! I love coming here especially knowing the fact that I can get it fast and simple, and they give you a big portion too!
