Maureen is very skilled in her work. She took in some inches around my bust and added a bustle for the long train on my dress. Her prices are fair and affordable, and she has a quick turn around time for alterations! For my wedding dress, she had it ready in 2 weeks. My wedding dress zipper kept getting stuck even though tried to adjust it, so she replaced the whole zipper entirely, and it was perfect! I also brought my reception dress here for alterations as well. After my wedding, I brought both dresses and my veil back for dry cleaning, and she had it ready for pick up in 3 days. She said when i pick it up Thursday the owner will be here and I could talk to her. I went and told the owner I wasn't aware of the price. She said how come I didn't ask? I said you are the merchant you should tell your customers how much it'll cost versus you working on our clothes and we have to pay to get our clothes back. I am more astonished that we the customer have to ask how much. And my clothes wasn't ready so did it really get delivered that Monday? What business doesn't tell you the price in advance so we can decide to move forward or not. I won't be going back there. I won't give business to a place that makes you feel like its your fault you didn't know how much it is.

I now have a connection to history. I have known ancestry. It's odd to say but knowing about them has made such a difference in knowing about me. My father's identity is still a mystery but that's okay at this time. I have a mother who wants a relationship with me and we share so much in common it's like finding a new best friend. We just shared my birthday together 53 years later. I learned that she never got to see me at birth. Such a truly incredible gift! And to think I almost let fear get in the way. If you are on the fence about this, just do it! You've had a lifetime of not knowing, not connecting. Isn't it time to know? Connect yourself to history. Happy Nest Laundry has truly been life-changing for me, especially at this stage of my life. This is my third time using their service, and they have been completely reliable every single time. At 77 years old, not having to worry about doing laundry anymore is an enormous relief and a true blessing. I trust them fully--they pick up on time, handle everything with care, and return my laundry the very next day, beautifully clean and neatly folded. Crap company, have wrecked shirts, lost clothes, got clothes that are not mine and ruined a velour type jacket. With not resolve to any of it, it is clear they do not have the right training and people in place to run their business effectively. The last jacket was 350.00 and they offered me 25.00 credit. My biggest complaint is recently I noticed they started locking the lint removal tray for the dryers and it says on there "to be emptied end of day". I came around 8pm and the lint trap was filled and what should've took about 20 minutes to dry took double the amount. As well, the washers had visible hair and dust around the doors so whoever is in charge of cleaning the machines isn't doing a great job. Im not sure if locking the link trays is a tactic for people to spend more but an accumulation of lint is a severe fire hazard.

I've had to send entire batches of clothing back to be rewashed because they were actually dirtier than when we sent the clothing. The clothes actually came back smelling like urine. Small things like socks and washclothes have gone missing completely. I guess that's somewhat understandable from time to time. For the last six weeks they've not folded the socks at all. Just left them laying lose in the bag with all the other laundry. I've repeatedly emailed them and I never get more than an email back saying that they're sorry, they'll talk to the people doing the laundry but nothing ever changes for the better. They keep getting worse and worse.
