So happy for this third location opening in Ballantyne! It's even closer than the first two to our home, so will definitely be here often. I tried something new today, the salted caramel latte (iced) and it was DELISH!!! Also another new item I tired was the pistachio cheesecake...WOW AMAZING! No pic of the cheesecake because I devoured it immediately lol. Also grabbed some Dubai chocolate, my fav. Gotta go back to try the kanafe cheesecake soon. The vibe is chill and it's a sleek space with fresh decor. Service is fantastic (only one small recommended tweak: saying to go order names louder for customers as it can be hard to hear when orders are ready for pick up).

    My traditional Turkish coffee

I ordered the Turkish coffee and genuinely enjoyed it - it was rich, flavorful, and felt very authentic. The traditional Turkish presentation on a decorative platter with little cups added a special touch to the whole experience. My friend ordered the strawberry matcha latte and liked it. It was also beautifully presented with distinct layers that made it almost too pretty to drink. The café itself is spacious, bright, and welcoming, with plenty of seating. They have a variety of desserts that looked incredibly tempting but I didn't try any this time. Overall, a lovely spot with great drinks, aesthetic presentation, and a comfortable atmosphere.

I recently visited Haraz Coffee and had an iced white chocolate latte that was absolutely delicious. The flavor was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I also appreciated the convenience of preordering my drink was prepared quickly and ready when I arrived. Great service, great coffee, and an overall pleasant experience. I'll definitely be back!

    Pistachio latte

Haraz was fine. This is their new location in Ballantyne across the street from the Bowl. There are so many other coffee shops in this area already I was surprised they agreed to put another one in the old plant shop building on the corner. (I loved the plant shop, RIP) I ordered an iced pistachio latte and it was fine. I wasn't blown away or anything. $8 not including tip is quite pricey for an iced coffee in my opinion. I met a few girlfriends here one Saturday morning. I don't know, I really don't think the middle Eastern coffee shops are my thing. They're popping up everywhere.

Such a cute vibe like all other locations. I love their pistachio latte and they also had vegan pistachio cookie that I absolutely loved. Just a small request to the owner to add more vegan options please, there is literally just one sweet dish option. I go to plaza location all the time and since I was in ballantyne thought of checking it out. I love this place

Absolutely a gem! Not only do they have all the best coffee flavors but the traditional drinks too and the BEST bites! The staff is professional and welcoming, and the ambience is perfect with tons of seating and a very clean space. Definitely a must stop!

Paid $6 for a coffee and found something at the bottom with the consistency of watery clay. Make it make sense.

Stopped in on a whim hoping to grab a cinnamon latte, but they told me the closest thing they had was a Harazi Mufawar, so I figured, why not? Drinking it felt like sipping an herb-infused coffee with the consistency of syrup... definitely not my cup of tea (or should I say my cup of coffee!) And to top it off, their prices were a bit on the higher side too.

Haraz is very inconsistent with their drinks which is why I stopped going. This was my first time at this location so I figured I'd give it a shot and I left extremely disappointed. Aside from waiting 20 minutes for 3 drinks to be made, the banana latte was far from what I expected. It tastes like chocolate milk with a splash of banana. It had a thick texture and tastes nothing like a banana latte. The pistachio latte I ordered for my coworker had watered down ice the moment it was handed to me. Unfortunately I could not try my drink right there after waiting so long because I had to get back to work, but none of us were able to enjoy our drinks today and sadly had to throw them out. $31 down the drain. :/

    Turkish coffee!

Alas, success comes with challenges. As they have become better known the service has significantly declined. Today our warm food came out - and was eaten - 20 minutes before the drinks arrived. Precipitous fall from grace.... Sad.

Had the Turkish coffee is was good. Need to ve a little more robust, but the pastries made for the coffee.

We got the pistachio cheesecake and the Oreo mosaic cake, both were so good! Pistachio not too sweet which we loved. Also got two traditional drinks which were excellent. The girl who helped us was so sweet and gave us recommendations which were delicious. I appreciated her customer service.

Good amount of seating inside (mostly 2-seaters; one larger table reserved for bigger groups). Helpful and friendly staff who were amazing with my little one. You have to try a slice of the basque cheesecake. The plain slice (with no whipped cream or fruit topping) is not overly sweet and the perfect amount of "burnt" & creamy. We also tried the madeleines, which - as the café's name suggests - were on point. And the garlic bagel is a garlic + cream cheese lover's dream. The iced dalgona latte was such a treat. Sweet with a creamy foam and topped with crunchy cookies - very well balanced and delightful to drink. The prices reflect the care and high quality of the products. A lovely discrete treasure, a blessing to the South Charlotte food scene…read more This easy to find yet tucked away café was the best breakfast I've had in many years. The meal started off with an iced rosemary lavender latte crafted with their in house syrup made with cane sugar and fresh herbs. Rosemary and coffee has been a revelation to my palate and I'll be back for this alone. Which I will happily enjoy in this comfortable and cute dining area. Breakfast was made to order from fresh ingredients, piping hot and intentionally seasoned. As their bright and cheerful owner puts it, the main ingredient is love. And trust me, you can taste it. This is the first time in my two decades of eating tofu that I can actually shoutout how delicious it is. And the aromas coming of this photogenic waffle were mouthwatering. While Charlotte has become over run with corporate and copy cat restaurants, it is truly a thing of comfort to enjoy a delicious meal made by good people that care not only about what's on the plate, but who is eating from it. 6 stars

We didn't wait for too long for the table as people were just leaving. It took a bit for the waiter to come to our table and took even longer for him to get our food orders in, which we noticed he got the food orders in for the other tables with people who came in after us. This then lead them to getting their food before ours. I ordered the breakfast combo which came with 2 eggs, bacon, and waffle. I was a bit surprised that this place didn't have any chicken or turkey protein side options as I've seen is common with brunch places. I also got my eggs scrambled which, as you can see by the picture, came out as an omelette. When asking the worker about the confusion, he doubled down on it being scrambled eggs and even gossiped to his coworker about it as well. Upon the unfair wait and the egg situation, I will not be returning here again.

It was our first time visiting Charlotte, and after seeing that the shop was open until 11:00 p.m., we figured it would be the perfect way to end the evening. We arrived just a few minutes before closing, but since we only planned to order a couple of scoops of gelato, we expected to be in and out quickly. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. Rather than greeting us or welcoming us, the employee immediately said, "Hey guys, by the way, we close in two minutes." There was no hello or friendly interaction. As we ordered, one member of our party asked to sample a couple of flavors, and the employee seemed visibly inconvenienced. When I asked if they had caramel drizzle, her response was simply, "No," with no warmth or attempt to offer an alternative. I completely understand that arriving close to closing can be frustrating for employees, and we were mindful of the time. However, the doors were still open, the posted business hours indicated the shop was open until 11:00 p.m., and we were respectful customers who knew what we wanted and intended to order quickly. What was most disappointing wasn't that they were closing soon--it was how unwelcome we were made to feel. As first-time visitors to Charlotte and Ballantyne, this wasn't the hospitality we expected. Customer service matters just as much during the last few minutes of business as it does throughout the rest of the day. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to remind staff that every customer deserves to feel welcomed, regardless of when they walk through the door during posted business hours.
