At first coming into this restaurant, I was a bit worried because there weren't many people there and the menu looked a bit outdated, but I was completely and utterly wrong. If you have no idea what you want, this place has a bit of everything - that being said, none of it seems worth writing home about. Service was excellent. Friendly hostess and waitress, no issues there. We were greeted by the manager, a middle aged Asian woman, hurriedly shouting orders to the staff out front. She was putting wait times in effect with a few empty tables visible from the entrance, so the kitchen was likely behind. Not a surprise there, more on that later. The manager continued this trend all over the restaurant as we ate our meal, which was unsettling and unnecessary - they had a good handle on what was going on, and didn't need the micromanagement. If I had to give them a tip it'd be managing the kitchen, and primarily the vast and overwhelming menu first. There's everything from Asian food like Lo Mein, Fried Rice, and Crab Rangoon as an appetizer, to Filet and Lobster for $35, even some Cajun Pasta options, burgers, sandwiches - almost anything you can imagine. There's a banner out front claiming Fish and Chips are a specialty. Based on the management and the specialty banner, we got the Fish and Chips and some Fried Rice. We were feeling frugal, and overwhelmed with the menu. Having our doubts about the place we didn't want to spend a ton, and I'm glad we didn't. The fish and chips were over-battered, and there were inconsistent lumps of fried batter tossed in. We still aren't sure if they were supposed to be some take on hush puppies or what, but it wasn't appetizing. The fried rice wasn't the worst I've ever had, but it'd take a lot to top that monstrosity. It was soaked in soy sauce, the chicken and beef definitely were processed and frozen, and the shrimp was frozen. It was bland, and there was more on the plate than I felt I was able to choke down. I feel like the place could be better if it had some sort of focus on the style of food they want to serve, but with a menu that large, I can imagine the chef's have a harder time than necessary. It wasn't the worst experience I've had in a restaurant, but I don't think we'll be headed back unless some major overhaul happens. Quite frankly the only reason we gave it a shot was because Storming Crab was spilling out into the parking lot and some of the reviews here were favorable. read more

Been here 3 times in my 5 day stay in Clarksville and i am very happy with it. The staff have always been warm and friendly. The menu is large and diverse enough to accommodate our group with have fairly wide tastes. We had a few requests for things not on the menu and they tried to satisfy them when possible instead of an outright no. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for good quality food with a great staff. read more

I am not a picky eater at all. The burger taste like the cheap burgers you get in frozen food section at Save A Lot. The owner's are chinese, and they have good Chinese food. They should just make it a Chinese place. read more

Won't be back. My girlfriend and I settled for this place because there was a long line at Chili's. The food was very simple. I ordered a pasta dish and my girlfriend had a salad and a seafood dish (came with entré). It seemed as though I could've made what was served to me in my own apartment. When I eat at a sit down restaurant I expect to get something I definitely couldn't make by myself. Secondly, I ordered a cocktail from the bar and they forgot to put alcohol in it (which ended up being $7.00). The check came to $51.00 without tip for substandard restaurant food (ordered 2 different entrés and 1 cocktail). Afterwards, my girlfriend and I preformed our religious late-night Starbucks run. We finished our coffees and went home. Not long after, the two of us felt the urge for a bowel movement. To our dismay, we found that neither one of us was successful in the bathroom. We had become HORRIBLY constipated! What in the world could have been in that simple food that would not allow one to have a bowel movement after drinking coffee??? read more

We just visited Harbor Cafe' a couple of weekends ago with out-of-town family. Our family was treated like their family and every aspect of our orders were terrific with no errors. The steaks are great, the drinks are fun and colorful as well as the staff being friendly. The owners come around and talk with the customers making everyone feel just "right down home". read more

My wife and I ate dinner this past weekend and found the service, atmosphere, staff and relaxed moments tremendous. I have heard that everything was fairly-priced and good and now I can attest to how great things were. I also chan share that our server - Matt - tall - was attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous as well as making our first visit very special. This place is was cool me & my friends came here i had the Texas chicken pasta . It was served fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and very helpful . ... I also had a pratron margarita. I couldn't taste the liquor. but overall i will come back again . great place !!! read more

One of the best restaurants in Clarksville. I went here with my parents and I got seafood and my parents both got steak, it was all delicious. The service is always really good and the management is extremely friendly. Next time skip the chains on wilma rudolph and go to the Harbor cafe. read more

I am embarassed to say this was our second trip to this place but I can tell yu both times the service was great, the owners greet everyone personally wonderful to feel appreciated. They have so many different things on the menu, how could they make one type dish well? From what my family encountered, they can't. The service was great, however the food was terrible. We ordered the Crab Rangoon appetizer, it was ok (you can get way better at Nine Dragons), we got 4 small Rangoons for $5 something! The price for rangoons at Nine Dragons is better. The server brought out some rolls that were not very good, they are the kind you buy in freezer bags in the grocery store and reheated. I had a mushroom swiss burger with Cajun fries . The mushrooms were so salty that I gagged when I took my first bite. I had to take them off. The burger was a tasteless hunk of meat. I love Cajun fries, however these were overly seasoned. I choked on the seasoning at every bite, despite dipping them into a ranch sauce our waiter brought out. They fries were in-eatable, I think I choked down three or so. My husband had the Prime Rib sandwich and the Cajun fries. He had the same experience with the fries as I did. His sandwich was tasteless, he only ate half of it. When we asked for the check the server was not surprised that our plates were still full of food and that we did not require a to go box. My wife and I took our daughter to Harbor Cafe for her birthday. She really enjoyed the center cut pork chop plate. I found it to be overpriced for a pork chop but was glad she enjoyed it. I ordered the Seafood fried rice and couldn't have been more disappointed. It advertises that it comes with crab meat but it doesn't. They use imitation crab meat, which is just ground up fish. After paying about $75 with tip, I've decided it will be a one time experience. I forgot what my wife ordered. But I remember she liked some of it but not all of it. I think the best part of the meal was the appetizer we all shared. It was a potato smothered in cheese and bacon on a stick. I don't remember what they called it but I admit it was delicious. The service was good. Not great, good. I spoke with the manager and was basically told he was sorry the fried rice wasn't what I expected. But that's it! It's not just what "I expected". It's what's "advertised". Crab meat is crab meat, not fish labeled "imitation crab". I mean, they already spelled it out for you. Ridiculously high for imitation crab! read more
