NEW FAVORITE SPOT ALERT!!!!! They just opened on the 10th of October....This place is cute! Great seafood date night!! They are open inside the restaurant and you can order to go... When you walk in you are greeted and even though i ordered to go, the waiter came by and asked if i was okay!!! The staff were extremely polite and helpful! The prices are amazing! You definitely get great quality, good service and amazing food! Right now they are have a grand opening cupon. I ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp, jalapeno chicken wings , and fried rice!!! I ordered to go but i could smell the delicious aroma all the way home!!! The smell of the food did not deceive me!!! The shrimp was fresh and the food was scrumptious!!!! I definitely plan on being a regular at this establishment!

I was craving crab legs, again!!! Aye my pockets!!! *crying emoji* but I figured I try a different place out this time around. I ordered online late. Like they were about to close late.... Sorry staff... But I was able to put in an order online and they accepted it! Angry Crab didn't accept my order... So, whatever... lol but, thanks Harbor Seafood because I was really hungry and I really wanted crab legs lol so I was happy about that! I ordered pick-up via their website. The prices were competitive, if not exact, to the other seafood boil places. What I liked most about this place is that you could get 1/2 pound orders in addition to the pound of whatever you were ordering. But because, it was late, I just ordered the pound snow crab legs with corn, sausage, and potatoes. No 1/2 pound shrimp. I was given a courtesy call to let me know my food was ready. I went to go pick up my food, and to my surprise, they had a lot of pick up orders, at least 8! So, I was glad to see that I wasn't the only one craving seafood so late at night lol But, I was in and out of the restaurant. Hence no pics of inside. The food was good. I got the House Special Cajun sauce mild spice. I wasn't too keen on the sauce. It wasn't flavorful enough for me, and I really didn't taste the spices, which was a little disappointing. But, I think next time around I'll get a different flavor, maybe Garlic and medium spice instead of mild. But, I would definitely visit this place again.

It's a good seafood restaurant, with very good reasonably price. The service was good, the environment was relaxing, with nice music, cool movies playing on the TV, the atmosphere was very good that it made you feel like home. We had the combo 1 which was very good, a lot of food. I really enjoyed the shrimp ! And the corn was also very good! I like how they have everything on the wall where you can have immediately access, very convenient! Nice restaurant that you would like to come back again, with lots of food at a very nice good friendly price!

We ordered 2 seafood boils. The shrimp was not deveined, the muscles were cold, there was very little sauce in the boil bag. When we brought this to the manager's attention and requested for him to remake the boils he stated that he would not remake it and walked away. If you are looking for good food or good customer service this place is not the place to go.

Big tables covered in paper and with paper towels at the table for ease. It's a good sign.

Sauce had little flavor. It had garlic from a jar, not fresh, flavorless. The "free crab" or free whatever is a gimmick and is a lie. They give you what you order but give part of it with the rest and part later acting like it's free. The sauce on the seafood was not good. I will definitely not return. I am a regular at angry crab and hot n juicy. I have yet to try la crab. Service was bad too. Crab is my favorite food and With the exception of a few off nights for the people mixing at angry or hot n juicy, i am always happy just eating crab. Not here though. It's just not good.

Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

It was pretty good but certainly not worth the titular pretty penny price--and we didn't even get…read morethe recommended 8 dishes, which is, like, the entire menu. To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.

I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

Our waiter Christopher happed to be a very nice guy but he was unable to change the events. We did have to change our seats because the music was blasting. When we asked if they could turn it down we were told no because "he" wants it loud. They then showed us to the corner of the restaurant where the music was not quite as loud. My biggest complaint is when we ordered we specifically asked if we order the garlic and butter there won't be any spices. He reassured us it was just garlic and butter. When our bag of food was brought to the table I knew immediately that there was no way it was just garlic and butter. All the other places we went to the juice in the bag was yellow. I took a bite of my corn and because I am so sensitive to spicy spice it got me right away. It was so spicy it was burning my lips. My cousin who actually likes spice was choking from the spice. Within about 15 minutes we all had headaches because we can't eat MSG without some reaction. What upset us was Christopher went to the cook to ask about the spice. He was told the garlic and butter has no spice but since everything is cooked in the same pot the Cajun spice soaks into everything. Our waiter did not know this and I find this very deceiving. If someone asks many times about spices common sense would tell you there is a reason. Shame on them!!!!

There is a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3-5pm but there isn't much advertisement about it online or in-store. The happy hour menu is pretty small but includes the Shrimp Arrabiata (1/2lb or full lb), Cheese Pizza, Margherita Pizza, $2 off cocktails, and a few more items I forgot to take a picture of!! Our server was a friendly man with dark hair and an accent. He was super nice but we noticed that it would take us a long time to get something we needed, like the check. In his defense, we were chit chatting for a while and probably didn't look like we needed help or service. No hate, he was very kind with good intentions. The restaurant itself was cute and a little bit smaller, making it harder to walkin if it was a busier night. Overall great food and nice staff. If you're looking for authentic Italian, come here!

The entrees are delicious although the lamb chops and the short rib bolognese were a bit salty. The bolognese is definitely different than the typical. The branzino and filet mignon were tasty. Sides including the whipped potatoes and Mac and cheese were also good. We also enjoyed the coconut cream pie with a birthday candle for dessert, but I will say for the price we paid for the entire meal, the dessert should have been comped for the birthday. We came as a group of 8 on a Saturday and waited about 30 minutes for a table. It was well worth…read morethe wait and the servers were very helpful and attentive. This is one of the best or the best Mexican seafood meals I have ever had. As a spicy lover I was over the moon with the ceviche, torre, and tacos durados. Two wimps in our group were not into seafood or not into spicy so they had quesadilla with fries or chicken tenders with fries. If this is you, just order a kids meal like a boss! One person had the soup and loved that as well. Maybe ask for your fries unseasoned if you don't want too much flavor. Can't wait to come back soon with friends because of the fun atmosphere and inventive salsas. A mariachi band might even make the rounds so bring your appetite, dancing shoes and a little cash.

Just good enough but no intentions to return…read more Service: lacks urgency and attentiveness. Friendly but unaware and unchecked which tells me this is how they always operate. The restaurant was half full (5 tables) 3 servers mostly inside of the kitchen area the whole time. Our drinks came after the food order was taken which took a while for how simple their menu is. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and was delivered by another server. Our server (blonde hair) never returned, no refills, and our dirty dishes were not picked up. Basically she came by when we were done eating. All servers seemed extra attentive to the tables with only men. A lot of socializing going on in the back. The food: -The aguachile tostada was the best dish. -The shrimp crunchy taco was okay, the sauce on top seemed more fitting for a sushi plate than a shrimp taco. Something about the flavor didn't make a lot of sense. -the breaded fish and shrimp tacos okay, they're doing way too much with the seasonings in the breading. -out of oysters at 1 pm on a Friday. Overall not too authentic compared to other seafood restaurants. Trying too hard with the flavors. Uninviting experience. If service had pep in their step I would give more grace.
