Went in on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was friendly. Had the best flatbread ever. Turkey tips with blue cheese. Absolutely amazing.

Pretty sure it gets decent reviews because it does offers a nice outside setting with live music. That being said, youre going to need a LOT of booze to enjoy the food here. Stopped here recently for dinner. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the kids got burgers. My chicken was dryer than a tail pipe and had the consistency of tuna fish. I can honestly say it didnt even taste like chicken. Burgers were dry but the kids ate them. They arent critics so atleast something came good out of this. Their French fries were decent. The wait seemed alittle ridiculous and the prices are honestly outrageous. We come up often and have driven by hundreds of times. After this experience we will probably keep on driving by. read more

Ordered brisket platter and was to come with pickled red onions. Actually came with with reg onions and when questioned they said no it onions with wine.... Left the check with a copy of there menu and highlighted. Over priced and not very good. dont usually leave reviews but the lack of caring and less the quality of food here we are....Mother's Day and the place was empty, I guess that should have told us something. Great spot on rte 16 to stop for lunch, dinner, or drinks and apps. Love the French onion soup, fried pickles and burgers. Love the outside area in the Summer! We called one time for takeout as we didn't have time to stop and they had it ready to go in no time and still delicious! read more

Friend we're up from PA and we could not find a place open. This place is always packed in the summer and does well off season. We were definitely not impressed. It was extremely loud (for mid week) and served pub style food. One meal was a flatbread pizza that was drenched in "franks" hot sauce. I was assuming buffalo chicken would Have been Buffalo but nope. Then there was a Boston larger burger which wasn't too bad except the beer cheese (sort of like velvita with beer mixed in) really ruined the sandwich. Classic burger was just that and lastly was the double Philly dog. Over cooked and the potato tots were hard. Sorry that this wasn't the impression of good food while Taking friends out for dinner. Cost just under $100 and no alcoholic beverages We'll leave this place to the biker crowd. read more

This is a great family friendly local hangout that includes a nice outside venue. The menu has an ample selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, tacos & dinner entrees all reasonably priced. Sorry to say, I wanted this place to be good. It was not, the staff was so "busy" talking and hanging around it took 10 minutes to even be recognized as guests. apparently you have to go up to the bar and not even have food or drinks delivered in an empty restaurant. The food was cold soggy by the time we received it; and the "bartender" didn't seem to know how to make a simple drink without turning to their phone mid order. great place for the staff to hang out and expect big tips! (which my wife and I left 20%) regardless because we've been in service industry most of our lives...on top it all the one waitress? looked at us after payment and rolled her eyes! didn't help bus or say thank you. I'm sorry we're not mean people we did proper edict but next time, won't be one for us. best of luck train your staff! it's not the hardest job in the world to be polite read more

Ossipee has very few dinner dining choices, and Harley Jack's was our only option within reasonable driving distance last evening. We pulled in, hoping that our experience would be better than our last miserable one, over 4 1/2 years ago. I should have read my own review! Unbelievably, it was worse! We seated ourselves in the large north side dining room, favoring its regular tables and chairs and the quieter atmosphere away from the bar crowd. The makeover since our last visit was nice, and our table was clean. Our waitress was prompt and pleasant. I ordered the half BBQ chicken, and my wife the meatball parm sub with fries. Five minutes later, the waitress returned to inform me that they were out of the chicken, so I opted for the pulled pork taco with cole slaw and corn bread. Read that and take a picture in your mind. Click. A taco, cole slaw, and corn bread. Our dinners arrived within what would have been a reasonable 15 minutes for good food, but not for the hastily prepared (no polite word comes to mind) that was presented. The waitress gave us our little plastic wrapped napkin and flimsy plastic ware; the sort that you get on an economy airline. How nifty. My order resembled no taco that I have ever eaten in my life, and it certainly didn't fit the picture I had drawn in my mind of what a taco, cole slaw and corn bread looks like. I beheld before me what appeared to be a casserole of sorts in a distorted (used?) aluminum takeout container. My flimsy little fork dove into the most disgusting thing that I can ever remember ever being served in my entire life. Ice cold taco sauce was squiggled atop luke warm cole slaw. Yuck. Under that was a somewhat warmer 1/2 inch layer of processed, gooey meat mush, about the same consistency as Chef Boyardee ravioli filling; not at all strands of pulled pork. Beneath it all was oily, soggy grits posing as my corn bread. A shepherds pie made of entirely incompatible layers of bad food, improperly cooked. I mean, we're talking about bacteria haven. Q: What dim mind conceived of layering cold cole slaw on top of pre-masticated luke warm meat, with soggy, oily corn meal at the bottom? A: The same one that would dress it with refrigerated taco sauce and serve it in an aluminum takeout tray. My complaint to the waitress for my inedible meal was met with argument and half off the price. "It is pulled pork!" Not acceptable. My wife's meatball parm sub consisted of lukewarm, breadcrumb laden, mealy, untextured, tasteless store bought frozen meatballs covered with cheap, tasteless cheese, on a soggy sub roll and cheap marinara sauce. Thankfully, Ore Ida makes half decent frozen fries. I really hope this place is put out of business so it can be occupied by a good restauranteur. I will not make the same mistake thrice. read more

We stopped by for lunch. The place was warm with great Mountain View's. It was cold and snowy so we ate inside but the large windows made it easy to enjoy the views while staying warm and comfortable. The service was great staff is prompt, polite and easy going. The restaurant is clean and it was a good vibe to it. Rock classics playing, sports on TV the causal background noise of friends having good conversations. The food, well I wish I had stopped to take a picture but I was hungry as hell. So I dove right in. I got a BLT Hotdog and my wife got a Reuben with a side of coleslaw. The BLT hotdog was on point. It was perfect 1/4 lbs of beef hotdog. With diced tomatoes on top on a bed of lettuce and a strip of crispy bacon. Better yet it was on a New England style hotdog roll that was buttered and grilled. Not those lame sub roll you get usually with these larger hotdogs. Messing up the golden ratio of Bread/Hotdog/Toppings. It came with a side of wavy potato chips. Perfection. 10/10 would eat that again. The Ruben was great, bread was also buttered and toasted, a good ratio of more corned beef than bread/sauerkraut. We got some desert to go. It's been awhile since I stopped in but I don't think they've changed much. The last time I stopped by I ordered onion rings & a beer. My husband got a burger fries & a beer. They burned the rings & while I was standing in line to return them ( I was outside) another person came up & she was furious they burned her nachos . They burn lots of things though . The onion rings weren't my first "burnt offering" lol . I mentioned I was outside the last time I went... well there was a reason for that too. The staff inside aren't always the best. I had one woman ignore us the entire time we were there . I had to g o to the bar to reorder drinks twice because she could never be found or if I did happen to see her she was hanging out at on of 2 tables laughing & talking with friends. At one point she stood there looking at our table talking to her friends & they all turned to look at us.. She was obviously complaining because earlier I had asked a waitress that was WORKING ( actually really working) where my waitress disappeared to because we hadn't gotten our food & it had been quite some time. After all that when we left I paid the check & she got no tip. I tip for service & my being her source of entertainment was not something I planned on paying for . A friend and I stopped here while following the AR Route (an adventure bike ride that goes all over NH). It was a couple of miles off the route but worth it. I had heard about this place before because the owner is a Jeep guy and came to buy some parts from me in the past. The seating was outside only when we were there which was perfect for our muddy boots and sweaty gear. The back deck has a great view of the mountains and a stage for bands. The bar was nice and large. The food was order at the bar and then sit at a table with your number displayed. I ordered a salad and it was great. Reasonably priced as well. I don't remember what my buddy got but he also had no complaints. I would stop here again. read more

If I could give this less than one star I would. To start one out of the three bartenders were nice. We ordered the pulled pork nachos. They came out on a flimsy tinfoil pan, cheese was not melted, was not pulled pork by any means. Was chunks of slimy cold pork like something. Lukewarm in some spots. We then ordered the Big Mac burger. Nothing special here either. Ordered medium came out well done. The sweet potato fries were slim to none. We had stopped by two other times before and they were closed. We were really looking forward to a great burger at the least. This place was such a disappointment would never go back. read more

Went here on a Saturday about 5pm, the only available option for seating is outside on the patio. HUGE patio and outdoor space for people to eat and drink. They had a band playing which was SUPER loud and more of a concert type of volume, not dinner. They had a few bartenders working and you had to order all food and drinks through the bar, so basically take out, but you could have alcohol. The food didn't take all that long to come and they brought it to our table. We order poutine, chicken fingers, the santa fe salad and the classic burger. The poutine and salad were just OK. Staff is nice, we parked around back and sat in the dog friendly area. You order at the counter and our wings and fish tacos took 40 minutes. We got 6 wings, three beer batter tacos, one watermelon drink and a soda $44. Bit pricey. The tacos I would not order again to heavy on the dough and fish did not taste fresh tasted like frozen cod but hey they have a larger menu selection, or something else. The wings were fine. Everyone was pleasant. Pavilion with tables was clean and and nice. Outside service only. Order at window and food is delivered. 2 adults 3 children $100 for "Ridiculous Tacos", veggie burger, poutine burger, chicken parm sub, pulled pork Mac and cheeses flatbread pizza that was made with boxed Mac and cheese. We always drink water with our meals and we were charged $.50 per plastic cup of water. Everyone ate their meal but no one particularly enjoyed it. Everything was frozen not fresh. It was meh..... Beautiful spot with lovely mountain views and live music. My husband and I both ordered a beer with a burger and fries. My first couple of bites were great until I found a 3 inch hair stuck to my plate. I picked it off and talked myself into ignorning it. I continued to eat my meal until I found another hair. This one was embedded in my cheese. I pushed the plate aside. I was done. Tha'ts just to much . Then my husband proceeds to pick two hair off his burger. Now he's done too. We told the waitress in charge and her response was " I'm going to need to see the hairs". Really? Sorry, but we flicked the hairs off onto the floor. We didn't think we needed to save them as evidence. We told her we were not looking for a refund but we thought you might want to go into the kitchen and let the cooks know that their hair is landing in the food. She then replied" they all have short hair so I don't see how that could have happened Well, the hair in the food was short hair. Bad customer service and the cooks and servers need to be more careful. We will never be going back to Harley Jack's burgers and Brews . If the waitress had apologized instead of accusing of us making up a story, I would have never felt the need to leave this bad review. read more
