Amazing place, unfortunately shutting down after many decades. They close Oct 31st. Stop by for some great food and drink. Service is still outstanding and great music.

Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whisky. Nearest, a Black slave, taught Jack Daniels how to distill spirits.

Bar Only: Came to PC's on a laid back Sunday evening after having dinner at another Simi Valley location. A member of our party wanted a snack, but we called before, and PC's closes its kitchen at 8pm on a Sunday. By Yelper Rob B.'s suggestion we went to PC's anyway for après dinner drinks. Only a few customers playing darts. Big TV screens featuring all sports programming. Full bar with hard liqour, beers, wines. Fairly large space with tables as well as tall chairs for sitting at the bar. Not quite a dive bar, and definitely not a high class lounge. For want of a better word, it's a comfortable neighborhood bar closer to the bar set in the old school Cheers TV program. Although it's not an Irish pub, PC's may be an ideal place to celebrate Saint Patrick day. Late 1960's & 70's music was playing, but mercifully it was background music so we didn't have to yell at each other to be heard. Supposedly there is Saturday live entertainment, Friday Karaokè night, and other entertainment occasionally on other nights. There is no hyper sophisticated mixology so don't expect macerated fruits, months long fermented infusions of liquors, nor esoteric liqueurs. We walked in and was immediately greeted by the friendly, moustached bartender. I don't know much about Bourbon, rye, or whiskey other than it translates directly from Celtic as "the water of life". So the bartender suggested Uncle Nearest, 1856 Premium Whiskey. Uncle Nearest is distilled in Tennessee and hand made. The aging in charred oak barrells adds caramel, oaky vanilla tones. Sense a bit of toasty cinnamon and bit syrupy sweetness. Also I sensed a soapy undertone. There's a peppery after taste and touch of heat since Uncle is 100 proof or 50% ethyl alcohol which gives Uncle a "kick". Even with all these complex big flavours bumping into each other, it must have been even wilder before it was filtered through maple wood charcoal. May not be totally my cup of tea, but glad I got to experience this U.S. made traditional "hooch". By the way, Nathan "Nearest" Green, who was a Black slave, was Jack Daniel's actual distilling mentor. Green perfected the Lincoln County Process of making whiskey which is characterised by dripping corn-rye whiskey through Sugar Maple charcoal for 14 days of filtering, then storing in American Oak. I'm impressed that PC's stocks such specialized Whiskey. Next time I may find they stock Hibiki Harmony, Fukano, Suntory Yamazaki or other smooth, silky Japanese whiskeys. Thanks to the moustached bartender for the kindly suggestion. PC's a nice, casual place to hang out. Next time, must try the food.

Great prices! We had 4 beers and a basket of fries for $17! Ambiance casual - very chill atmosphere. Waitstaff- attentive but not annoying. Genuinely friendly. Beer - cold Fries - hot Will return! Definitely recommend if you want a place to chill out alone. Also recommend if you want a place to chill and meet people. Just an overall great atmosphere!

This place blows on every level. If I'm gonna pay bar prices to drink I'm gonna do it in a nice room( let the record show I love a dive bar) This is like a bad garage convert. The food is a joke. I've been to bowling alleys with better food! The place doesn't enforce social distancing or masks and in fact seems to be against it! Also they put BS political comments on there sign. Really?! This is a sh%#hole bar

WINGS BABY! Super crispy, still juicy inside

Nolan was our server and he was on it. Wasn't obnoxious about giving good service but on top of it. Got our orders right, was accommodating. I love the ambience. Not California dining with bright lights and high noise level. Old time sexy ambience where you think the couple in the next booth might be having an affair. I had been here years ago and remembered it being a solid steakhouse type restaurant with good comfort food, so we were excited to come back. First off, the restaurant itself is beautiful -- huge booths, cozy lighting, and a great atmosphere. We also had a young waiter who was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly the highlight of the experience. Drinks also came out quickly and were strong. Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark. I ordered the half rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato and salad. The 4 little ribs were tiny with barely any meat on them, and the baked potato tasted strange -- almost like artificial butter or margarine instead of real butter and sour cream. There was hardly any bacon and way too many green onions. The salad was basically chopped iceberg lettuce with a clump of what looked like canned tomatoes on top. The blue cheese dressing was actually delicious, but overall the meal was disappointing, especially for $33, and I honestly left hungry. My husband ordered the BBQ grilled chicken and the chicken breast was shockingly small -- it honestly looked like a kids meal. The fries tasted like basic frozen fries. My son's mac and cheese was honestly awful and tasted sour. A box of Kraft would have been better. The cheeseburger was average at best -- I've genuinely had better burgers at youth soccer tournaments. It really feels like this restaurant is struggling when it comes to food quality and portion sizes, which is unfortunate because the location, ambience, and service all have so much potential. I felt bad because our waiter truly did a great job, but good service can't make up for disappointing food at these prices.

Everything was so fresh...the bread, the chicken, avacado, greens.. and our sandwiches were loaded with ingredients. Usually I taste more bread than anything else but that wasn't the case here. I entered into the location and was no cashier in the front. She was at the end of the counter expediting the food out to the guests that were seated. She saw that there was a line forming and began to come to the front to take the guests that were waiting in line. Very critical to keep employee's position at all times and very important to keep your location staff at peak hours though out the day or an at evening time. This has happened a few times and unfortunately it happens when I come in. Go figure. One of My favorites sandwiches is the BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich, the only thing is I would like is if the bread could be heated up or to complete the sandwich. Instead of the Bread kept at room temperature. just a thought. For the most part the location is kept clean, good job on this!

You'll hear many patrons describe this restaurant as a hidden gem. Believe them. From our observation, reservations are highly desirable and may prove necessary for weekend nights. The only seatings available when we called a day earlier were at 4:30 or after 7:00 PM. We took the earlier, and frankly are glad we did. We arrived at their unassuming storefront location as the first patrons of the day, were warmly greeted and immediately seated. From this moment forward, my wife and I agreed: If anyone hopes to run a highly successful small restaurant, Bella's Bistro is the template. Inside, the ambiance was tasteful with gentle background music at the absolutely perfect tempo and volume to allow for conversation. We found the furnishings, tableware and restroom immaculate. Fresh flowers and a candle adorned each table, and the decorations for Valentine's Day were just the right tone, conveying appeal without being garish. Kudos to the staff for getting it right on all of the above. Though I generally set expectations low for the wine list or bartending at a small establishment, Bella's features a diverse wine list and specialty cocktails that pair very well with their menu. Of particular note was the superb crafting of cocktails during our visit - again, exceeding our expectations. It was during cocktail service that we noticed the full-service bar tucked in the rear corner of the restaurant, offering barstool seating and counter service for those who may be so inclined. We shared a nicely prepared caesar salad, while enjoying the basket of varied breads. While refrigerated butter pats were provided in the basket, it would have been a tad easier and more appealing if a small container of whipped butter had been offered instead. Our entrees included their homemade ravioli as well as chicken parmigiana, the latter included a large perfectly crafted portion of chicken accompanied by perfectly prepared spaghetti. To say this restaurant knows how to make and served great pasta is in understatement, with the ravioli a choice to be savored. A simple cheesecake dessert topped off the evening. Though the restaurant was full as our meal ended, we never felt rushed or ignored. Service was at all times attentive but never overbearing. There was genuine interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction. We encourage you to try Bella's Bistro!

True 5-star service from start to finish. It's not easy to find a place that delivers both great food and great service, but Junkyard absolutely does.
