Plastic wrap left on the cheese

When did the check outs stop bagging groceries? I don't mind the self check out when I only have a few things but when I have a cart full I really appreciate having someone scan my stuff and bag it. The kid at the line just scanned stuff and flipped it over to the bagging area. Can you just put it into a bag? It would make my life so much easier.

The Teet, as we like to call it in my fam. I will go here only for certain items & because the ABC store near this location alway has my Pastis, lol. I do like this store & they recently did a mini makeover to the layout so it has a nice sparkling appeal. This particular trip there was nary a shopping basket in sight & I was only getting a few things. The produce section, deli, bread, bakery and meat counters are all very nice & they have a decent selection. Quality seems to be fresh & good. Oh, and lets not forget the wonderland of the beer & wine aisle! Quite a lovely variety if I do say so myself. My negatives with The Teet is that they are priced higher than most of the other local grocery stores to the point where I now circle back to the fact that I only go here for certain items coupled with the Pastis next door. The sore has a sterile vibe and the employees are robotic except for the nice lady at the deli counter & wish I knew her name to give credit where is due. Also, the self check-out is always a clusterquack (you know what I mean) with constant lines & only one robotic employee to assit with the registers. Note: There is plenty of parking & they do take plastic bags for recycling but the receptacle is often full.

I was gonna say "be careful" when buying pies or cakes because you never know if your gonna get what's labeled on the box.. but I was careful, I checked the labels and signage expecting to get an Apple Pie.. it was a cherry pie, see photo.. very disappointed

The biggest benefit to me at this store, outside of it clearly offering me everything I need, but it feels like MY local grocery store.

The drink was really well executed and refreshing. I picked up some nigiri and left a happy girl with a full tummy and a yap session with the bestie. Overall, awesome experience- quick, easy, and certainly felt more luxurious than a grocery store meal deal. I will certainly come back and dine here again!

Wegman's has been a game-changer for us and so conveniently located across the street - we stop by…read moreevery other day! Love their fresh baked goods, produce, hot bar, and healthy prepared foods with more vegan options. They also have these $2 snack packs, which comes in handy with the kids. This Wegmans is much smaller and more compact with a neighborhood vibe rather than the traditional larger store (there's a small bar area and food court). Wegmans has really expanded their vegan and vegetarian prepared food options this year - the juicy Eggplant Parm is delicious! It has become my weekly staple! While the Butter Paneer is quite sweet, I appreciate the diversity of ethnic foods. The Veggie Lasagna is a bit soggy. The Vegan Cobb Salad, Kale Mushroom Tofu Salad, Kung Pao Tofu Bowl, and Vegan Sushi are quite good! The new Truffle Veggies and Portobello Mushroom Pizzas in prepackaged food trays are perfect for roasting veggies, you just throw the tray in the oven! The food court has a few stations - sandwiches, pizza, and burgers and closes around 8pm (salad and poke bowls were discontinued). The veggie burger is quite good, as well as the classic fries and sweet potato fries. The Truffle Mushroom Pizza is delicious! There's an Asian hot bar with Chinese food and a wing station. The crispy tofu in spicy soy sauce is delicious! There's also a bar with pretty good drinks, the Lycheetini was delicious! Wegman's has the best grocery store bakery with super adorable sugar cookies, seasonal caramel apple cake and pumpkin cakes are delicious, other favorites include oegy gooey chocolate chip cookies, Oreo cheesecake, peanut butter cheesecake, summer fruit tarts, chocolate covered strawberry, and moist strawberry shortcake. The seasonal maple donut, strawberry and blueberry cobbler donuts are delicious. The fluffy croissants and Jalapeno Cheddar bagels are quite tasty too! While the baked goods are generally pretty fresh, they are made every other day Including some of the cookies. Free parking without validation up to 2 hours now. There's also cute green grocery carts for kids. You can get digital coupons on the app. I've been able to save over $50 from the mail and digital coupons! Can't wait to come back tomorrow!

The aisles are still narrow…read moreand crowded and now they've added this Byzantine "digital coupon" you must somehow use through their app (in addition to the deals you have to use their shopping bonus card to access) or you'll pay double the "sale price" for some items. Produce is also still hit or miss and prices are fairly high overall. Once you survive the gauntlet of suckage and are ready to leave this place, Giant has one last surprise in store for you. You have a choice of waiting in absurdly long lines for the 1 or 2 checkout lines that are open or using a self service check out that only allows 20 items or less and is virtually guaranteed to malfunction at least once per trip for no real reason, causing a stressed out employee to have to intervene. I come here occasionally since it's the closest full grocery store but coming here is a chore for sure.

The layout is somewhat different in that the aisles are shorter, however there are more aisles. I got a couple of things from the Deli section and there were three employees working there which made everything go fast. Normally at other stores there is only one person and 3 - 4 customers waiting. I didn't see any salad bar, and I'm not sure if they got rid of it. I also purchased a gallon of orange juice and some strawberries. I was tempted to get some fresh sushi for lunch as well, but opted to eat what I have leftover from last night.

I was able to get all of my pre-ice storm charcuterie and snacks, along with some fresh fruits and veg to hold me over until the world defrosted again. Despite they're being so many people in the store, I was able to get parking fairly quickly and the store wasn't really crowded. There were a lot of people there but the layout made it easy to move around. What I loved most about my last visit was the absolutely gorgeous selection of flowers they had. I was able to leave with some beautiful options, including some flowers I've never heard of, to create some gorgeous bouquets to decorate the house. I was impressed with how long those flowers lasted. They didn't even start to wilt until about 2 and 1/2 weeks after I brought them home. They looked good for well over 3 weeks and it was a sad day when I had to finally toss them. I've never had flowers last that long from any other store, including other Trader Joe's locations. I'm not sure what love and affection they're feeding those flowers but keep it up! Of course, as always, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful... One of the reasons why I absolutely love shopping at Trader Joe's.
