Wegmans is my favorite grocery store, the quality is consistent the stores clean and inviting. I wanted to specifically mention MARTY who works in the Wine department. I LOVE seeing Marty when I come to the store, he is so earnest and sweet and always working to introduce the patrons to some of the wonderful wines Wegmans carry. He is the highlight of every visit to the store.

Although they brag about having a huge cheese selection, it's about the same size as it was before. The problem regarding the size of the place is most likely because Reston doesn't have a spot for a huge store. Unless they were to find a plot of land in a good location, then build a free-standing one. That would be pricey! We think the aisle signs could be better labeled. For example, we wanted to get some tofu, but despite wandering around, I couldn't find it. Finally, I saw an employee and asked him. He directed me to a refrigerated case that was near the bakery and sushi counter. Otherwise, we found everything we wanted to get. So, yes, we will return...but not to do all our shopping there. They don't call it "Whole Paycheck" for nothing.

The store is huge, very spacious and the aisle are the perfect width to accommodate a customer on each side so no one feels cramped or crowded while shopping. The fresh bakery items greet you in the parking lot!!!! The closer you get to the door the more vibrant the smell wafts through the air. DO not be surprised if you find yourself gazing at the goodies to pinpoint exactly what you are smelling. This location also had a lot of fresh produce which can be a hit or miss at some other locations. Grab a big cart and BYOB ( bag that is) and enjoy!!!

Then I checked the shelf and decided on the individual bottles. Well the soy sauce was listed as $2.99, but rang up as $3.99. While it was the only thing in my basket that was off, it was a small trip and things like that would significantly add up over time.

I said, "Why did you take it out? That's your job. Why didn't you look?" And the previous man told the staff that he put it down. This staff is rude, not only does he speak badly and loudly to customers, but it's not the customers' fault. It's your job. You still don't do your job well. During my recent visit in May, I was totally shocked to how this Aldi has changed! For the worst! It is dirty, produce are so-so quality, shelves are poorly organized and resemble a cheap, thrift store, or yard sale with items just haphazardly thrown together, especially their specialty household items section which is now just one big messy piles! A gallon of milk that started at about $1.50 is twice that price! I also cannot find items that used to be well stocked! My, my! After I grabbed a pack of chicken breast, I sadly left - it was the worst grocery shopping experience! What happened to the Aldi we love? Staffing issue? Management? There seems to be no one in charge, or no one cares about giving its loyal customers a great shopping experience. If you don't mind the mess, snarky staff, expired grocery items, poor quality produce, and "we don't care about our shoppers but just our bottom line", yes, go ahead and shop here! But then again, why would you? I am taking my business to Lidl in Herndon and Trader Joe's in Reston....they seem to care about earning my business and out a conscious effort in keeping their customers happy!
