Whenever hubby and I are craving for fish & chips, we often visit Harry's Fish & Chips in Tsawwassen. Great food and reasonable pricing plus lots of parking available in the vicinity. Service can be spotty at times but it doesn't deter us from frequenting the area.

The inside of the restraunt has not changed since I was last there. I found the service a little slow. The waitress was new and attentive while taking our order. Sadly she messed up our orders. As an appt we ordered the battered zoo sticks. They came battered and were quite tasty. I had the single piece halibut dinner which comes with fries and coleslaw. The halibut was very good but the fries had been sitting out for a while so they were not hot, just warm at best. My partner ordered the dinner battered prawns which was to come with 10 prawns. They were given the half order of only 5. They were battered a little too heavy. Steak and mushroom pie was very good. The last meal ordered was the full dinner prawns and fries with coleslaw. They did forget the order completely. The fries were done exactly how they were ordered; extra crispy in a large plate. Coleslaw came in a small bowl. We were almost finished when they finally brought the prawns. To be fair the meal was free. All in all we will not be going back again.

I went here for lunch before heading to Tsawassen Mills. I was always curious of this restaurant it was worth it. I chose 1 haddock with chips ($13.95) it was tasty. 1 big piece of haddock, lots of fries with coleslaw on the side. Portion was big for 1 person. I was glad not picking 2 piece meal or else I couldn't finish all. Food was pretty good. Fries and coleslaw were excellent. Service was fast.

Great fish and chips! Kids meals are well priced and my kids actually started eating calamari since we started coming here.

We were in the area and decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch. We were seated right away. Water and menus dropped off. I ended up ordering their daily special - one piece haddock meal for $10.95. We also ordered a two piece halibut with a Caesar salad meal and Kid's chicken nuggets meal. Food arrived quickly as the restaurant had just opened and we were the first customers. They had forgotten to substitute the salad. We decided to leave the meal as is. There was a generous portion of fries. The coleslaw salad was pretty good. The fish has a light coating of batter and fried nicely. We had a huge bottle of tartar sauce and ketchup to use. Service was good for the most part. Staff stopped by three times to check up on us. The only hiccup was the Caesar salad mix up. The kids meals were very affordable for the amount of food. The rest of the meal was reasonably priced.

Halibut and chips, English sausage, haddock and chips.

Summary: will definitely go back for Fish & Chips, and sausages! Pros: clean, spacious, nice decor, friendly staff, timely service, good prices, fresh and hot food, plentiful servings and condiments, light batter on the fish, decent alcoholic beverage selection (beer, wine, cider) as well as non-alcoholic (pop, juice, tea, coffee including decaf!). Cons: the halibut, while plentiful, moist and fresh, could use some seasoning (more than just adding S&P or tartar sauce at the table). The fish by itself was surprisingly bland (uncommon for halibut in our experience). We had 1 piece haddock & chips, 1 piece halibut & chips plus a plain sausage (always looking for a great English sausage, and this one was pretty darn good).

Slow serving, food very borderline. Britannia had better fish and ships than this place.

We stopped here for a quick bite before taking the ferry to VI. The food was tasty but nothing great. It did the job.

Delicious food, great service, clean and comfortable. Loved that we got a big container of both ketchup and tartar sauce. We will be back.

Once my order was completed I found a seat and started to eat. The seating area is limited and if various options, a couple tables here and there and a counter by the window. I ordered an Oyster Po Boy, fries and a drink which came to total of $27.10. It was messy to eat Po Boy, but that wasn't an issue. Baguette was so crunchy on the outside it was perfect! There was some arugula, kimchi and 3 pcs of oysters in it. I also ordered fries it was huge! Fries were bit salty and overcooked I tossed it out in the end. I left my water and soda to drink them later after heading to washroom. Staff cleared my water and soda away. I still had half of soda in it. I felt thirsty after eating my food in the end. It'd have been nice if she asked me first before clearing dishes. I don't think I'll go back.

This was going to be a true test of the Fish & Chips quality here in Metro Vancouver…read more I had family visiting from the UK - the birthplace of fish & chips. I have Pajo's maybe once every couple of years, & so having visitors that were craving fish & chips - I recommended Pajo's. Located in the popular tourist area of Steveston Village in Richmond, Pajo's has been a pioneer of Fish & Chips in Metro Vancouver since 1985. There is even a location at the YVR Vancouver Airport in the food court near the photogenic - Jade Canoe. Get your fish & chips there before your flight takes off. Pajo's in Steveston Village is located right on the water - a floating restaurant. Seating is outdoors under patio umbrellas. Watch out for those pesky seagulls & crows. We tried the Wild Snapper & Wild Cod as well as the Fish Tacos. We added a bit of vinegar to the chips & voila - excellent. The fish are not too heavily battered, not too oily & tasted fresh. It's that crispy golden looking batter that really excites anyone having Fish & Chips. For some reason they were out of Salmon which would have been nice to try. Regardless, our UK visitors gave Pajo's two thumbs up.

The fish pieces are smaller than I remember. This time i got 2pc cod and chips. Service was pretty quick. Pricey, at around $24 but you get bottomless fries. The fish was moist, firm but flaky, and piping hot out of the fryer. Batter was a bit thick and greasy for my liking but at least it tasted fresh. Fries were fresh cut single-fried. Good when they're fresh and piping hot, but get soft and soggy really fast. Didnt taste too greasy though. Unsalted, which I like. You can always add salt yourself. The pricing is expensive but the bottomless fries make up for it a bit. There is ketchup, malt vinegar, hot sauce, and utensils on the side. Also a water fountain. If you go with say, a group of 3 and get a 3pc with bottomless fries, its not a bad deal. Just gets kind of greasy. Dont expect mushy peas or curry sauce/gravy or any other fixins like British fish and chips. food quality probably 3.5/5. Value if you take advantage of bottomless fries, 4/5. Its a nice place to hang out by the dock and have a quick bite, so accounting for the nice vibes, overall 4/5. Lots of free street parking in Steveston but you'll need to drive around hunting for an open spot during peak hours.

We moved into the bar area, where the noise was a bit below airport-runway levels. I'd also recommend bringing along a flashlight (or flashlight app) to read the menu. I've got 20-20 vision, and had quite a bit of trouble reading in the darkly lit dining room. The food, of course, was outstanding.
