Restaurant was just a bit cold for my taste but thats purely my preference so I cant knock em for it. We ordered the tre meatballs appetizer. Im Italian and pretty critical of any "Italian" restaurant. That said, I wasn't a fan of the meatballs. Wife ordered the cedar plank salmon with broccolini side. She said salmon was flavored okay, a little dry and overcooked. She said the broccolini was pretty good. I had the parmesan crusted chicken with rosemary roasted potatoes on the side. Chicken was pretty good, but I felt like it was missing something. Potatoes were pretty bland. We had the tiramisu for desert. It was pretty good and big enough the two of us could split it after dinner without fighting over who got the last bite. All the food was served temperature appropriate and quickly. We recently visited Harry's in Millington. Their minestrone soup was not very good. It didn't have much flavor. We also ordered eggplant parmigiana. It was cold. There marinara sauce eats more like a salsa with tomato chunks and a tomato broth. It was kind of odd. The house salad with house dressing was very good. We also had some other items that didn't have the marinara sauce and they were good! We are going to try it again. We want to try their pizza. It's a very pretty restaurant. read more

Harry's Italian Restaurant is arguably not just some of the best ITALIAN food I've had, its some of the best FOOD I've eaten. I just recently traveled to Chicago on business, and ate at two of the highest rated Italian restaurants in downtown Chicago and I dare to say Harry's is on par with them! I wish I didn't live on the other side of the country, because I'm not sure I can live without Harry's now that I've visited. I visited on a very busy Wednesday evening in between the holidays, so lots of big family groups at the restaurant and it was VERY busy and very chaotic. I could tell right away that the host staff was a little frazzled but they were incredibly polite and noticeably putting in all of their effort to accommodate their guests. I did an online early wait list option and checked at the host to get an accurate wait time estimate. The online list had me listed with four groups ahead of me, with some groups waiting for almost an hour. With my much smaller party of just two, we were seated MUCH sooner than estimated which was a pleasant surprise since we didn't not mind to wait. Our waitress quickly came by to take our drink and appetizer orders. We did get our drinks and appetizer of Tre Meatballs (more on these to come) promptly, but we did have to wait and ask for silverware a couple of times. The restaurant was very busy and the staff was working very hard so we did not mind, the appetizer was steaming hot, and needed to cool regardless. On to the food. The fresh bread is baked just right for a very fluffy warm dough that dips so deliciously in the herb and seasoned olive oil drizzle. The Tre Meatballs, which I ordered to share with my dinner companion, were nothing less than perfect. The blend of meat was seasoned and cooked exactly to the right temperature to keep them incredibly tender and juicy. The marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese topping were balanced, and they were plated and garnished beautifully. I ordered a bowl of the Zuppa, which to me was the weakest part of the meal. I don't think it is any fault in the soup itself, the menu clearly states "creamy" Zuppa Toscana Soup. I prefer my Zuppa a little on the spicier side. If it were up to me the soup would have featured less potato, and more chopped kale and Italian sausage. Nevertheless the soup was good, just not my preferred preparation style. For my main course I ordered the Carbonara with chicken. I've eaten authentic chicken carbonara before, Harry's version is not conventional, but it takes a classic dish and puts a very original spin on it. The cream sauce married perfectly with the flame broiled chicken breast, pancetta, mushrooms, sun dried tomato, and green onion! I intended on ordering the New York Cheesecake or the Tiramisu, but alas, I did not have enough space after our full meal to order a dessert. I'm just glad I have something to look forward to the next time I visit this quaint little Tennessee town restaurant. read more

I would have given them 5 stars except for 1 thing, they never took the old plates off the table starting with the appetizers, salads extra plates, old tea glasses until it was time to pay the bill. The service was ok- a little on the chaitiic side. No one knew who was serving our table, so they all tried. Better than being ignored, I guess. Our appetizer, salad, and enteee all arrived together. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, and the egglant part was good, however the pasta was inedible. The noodles turned to mush in my mouth, which was very unpleasant and unexpected. Not sure how you mess up pasta, but this spaghetti had seen al dente come and go a long time before it was served. We celebrated our 44th anniversary here, been waiting for a while to dine here. The building and decor is beautiful. The service and servers are very professional and attentive. We had the bruschetta for our appetizer, and it was the BEST we have EVER eaten. I ordered the seafood and tortellini, and my husband ordered the lasagna. I have no words for my dinner, other than 100% perfect!!! The sauce was impeccable, and there was plenty of seafood in it. My husband said the sauce on his lasagna was great. New restaurant that opened just two days prior to me going! I was very impressed with the food and service. Normally I'd give this spot a 4/5 stars but due to it being so new, I gave some slack. The managers did a good job checking up on tables, making sure things were ok and to our satisfaction. I was happy with the mocktail I ordered, even though it wasn't on the menu. I told them to surprise me and I got something close to a strawberry limeade- so good. At this time, they were not taking reservations, so it was first come first serve. This place is cute and nice inside. The bartender can make whatever drink you want. I am simple with a vodka soda. They have that fancy ice for your drinks. For dinner I got the Spicy sicilian with Fresh mozzarella fritta as an appetizer. Both were delicious and the fresh bread was a bonus. The most formal dining experience currently available in Millington! However, there's no need to dress up- informal attire is fine! Servers are especially friendly and welcoming! Dinner prices reflect more upscale dining: average dinner entrees range from $18-$40. Lunch and dinner menus are distinctly different with differ options. The lunch menu does not have any starter or dessert options- unfortunately. I've dined here twice so far: once for lunch and once for dinner. Lasagna and chicken parmesan servings were ample sized and scrumptious-- highly recommended. Zuppa toscana soup was tasty, but serving was rather smaller than I expected. For lunch I had the caprese salad- I will not order it again: the tomatoes were not ripe ( hard and lacked taste), and the ricotta cheese was not what I expected.) However, the house salad that came with my dinner entree was delicious! We also had the Florentine- loved it!! Try the limoncello cake for dessert- very light, refreshing cake/pie combination that pairs well with coffee or wine!! Nice wine selection-probably the best wine selection in Millington!! My husband and I will definitely return- and Harry's is recommended if you want to pay a little more for a nicer dining experience in the Millington area. The spicy Sicilian pasta is the best item on the menu however, you can expect to receive 1/2 of a miniature loaf of bread and a salad per person. Depending on the day, there are varying amounts of peppers, Italian sausage and cayenne and sauce. The grilled chicken is lacking flavor as is the Parmesan in single-serve packets.
