One of the musicians performing that night -- a person actively generating the atmosphere this establishment was selling -- handed us a free drink ticket. Lovely. A nice gesture from a nice human being. Our server arrives. We order. We mention the ticket. She says she has to make another drink first and will be right back. She was not right back. She was gone for twenty minutes. We know this because we spent those twenty minutes sitting there like two abandoned houseplants, eventually flagging her down ourselves, because apparently at this bar the customer is responsible for locating the staff. And when she finally returned? She refused the ticket. The reason: the band had left. I want everyone reading this to sit with that. The ticket was valid when we presented it. It became invalid during a delay she created, for a reason entirely outside our control, and she then delivered that news to us as though we had done something wrong. She ran out the clock and then cited the clock. This is not a small thing. This is a bar that will make a promise, take twenty minutes to not honor it, and then explain that the promise expired while you were waiting for the person who was supposed to honor it. If they'll do that over one beer, imagine what happens when something actually goes wrong -- a wrong charge, a bad tab, a real problem. The drink was worth about six dollars. The reputation was worth more. They chose the six dollars. Go literally anywhere else. If I could rate this lower than one star I would.

I'd called to other alleys and most already had leagues going on, so we found this place and off we went. While it's not the fanciest place comparatively speaking, it was actually one of the few that A) didn't charge $35-40 for a single lane game per person, and B) didn't turn us away as it was already booked for bowling leagues exclusively. Their games were $4 a piece, shoe rental was I think $3 a pair, and they had a separate bar area for those looking to hang out before or after their games. The place could use some attention on the inside, and it doesn't have a lot of games, but it was a good time had by my friend and I. They're open late as well and you can get a few snacks at the snack counter for a reasonable price. They also have a decent selection of balls to choose from if you need one like I did. I would NOT recommend having a kids party here as it's a bit run down for that, and there's nicer alleys in the area compared to this one. But, if your like me and just wanted to hang out with other adults, throw a bowling ball down the alley on a Saturday night and not spend a zillion dollars, this is your place!

The food is pretty good considering it's bowling alley food, but it does have a bar and if you are having a party they have a service for that too. I have been there many times even when I'm not playing with my league. Very friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. Overall, two thumbs up. Even more if I had any. Check it out.
