Enjoyed my meal here last week. Place is quite small so there will be a wait. The bar area and very small and even limited standing. Some interesting but good meals on the menu. Ordered the Brussels sprouts for an Appetizer and one of their pizzas. Both were very good but again not sure why they limit the toppings on these types of pies. The pepperoni was really good for all 4 pieces I got. Let's not forget the craft beer. Quite good but limited on the different styles and overall choices. I'll go back. Heart Harvest Kitchen + Bar. Feels fun and trendy. Service has been very fun to flirty every time I've been here. I feel good when I eat and drink here. Ingredients and recipes are great. I've had the Geary Street pizza a couple times (clams on a traditional sauce) So delicious! Tip: Add Chorizo to this pizza. The cocktails are great. They do a good job with this old fashioned cocktail thing that's happening. I had a jalapeño infused mango something there once. It was sweet and spicy - really good stuff. It's kind of expensive but I think you're getting quality. I can walk here from home and it's been the location of choice when friends are visiting. The Crest seems to be the only other joint similar in Clintonville... but I'd choose here. It's far less pretentious. It's very well appointed inside and there always seems to be a wait.. so come with time to spare and get a yummy cocktail while you wait. read more

My wife and I both love this place. Great service, great pizza, and great ambience. This is where I take friends/family from out of town when I want to impress them with the hip-ness of my neighborhood. I only take off one star because on some dishes the portion size is way less than you'd expect for what it costs (especially the appetizers) but then again they are tasty as hell so whatever. So I have to admit Harvest is growing on me. I've pretty much just stuck to the pizzas and the house salad and I've been very satisfied with my last few visits. Unless you are feeding 3-4 adults the small salad plates are adequate for 1-2 people and I love that it's the exact same quality every single time I get it. Pizzas are still a little pricy but you get what you pay for and the ingredients are top notch and clearly superior to anything else you are going to get in the area. They keep their beer cooler super cold as well so the beer taps are always ice cold. Service continues to be great. read more

Went with the BF the other night. The wait was long, but the staff were helpful when it came to explaining the menu. Got to enjoy an unusual drink with absinthe in it, which was pretty good (if you like black licorice, that is). Good food, too, ordered a pizza with the almond pesto sauce and the BF ordered a burger with some delicious type of midget potato wedges that I pilfered when his back was turned (sucka! never turn your back on fried potato!). Was priced a little high, my pizza and one drink came to $25 before tip. My only other complaint was that it was kinda noisy and we couldn't hear each other talk the whole time. Great spot for a Friday dinner in Clintonville (although people were waiting outside when we were leaving around 7). The whole menu is tempting! I LOVE this place! I have so far failed to have a bad meal here. The lunch options are great since you get to build your own pizza. As a vegetarian I have never had any problems with substitutions. My best friend and I walked to this from a weekend rental house for dinner on a Friday night. We expected a really long wait but lucked out. We were seated within ten minutes. The menu is modern with all sorts of choices but we settled in the pickle chips for an appetizer. These are so good with the breading crispy but not overly breaded. We order our own creation of pizza tho they have a lot of options but we got the tomato sauce, regular mozzarella blend, kalmata olives and their salami which was wonderful. The pizzas are one size but one fed the two of us with an appetizer. The salami wasn't greasy but thin and a little crispy after baking. Sooooo good. The service was good and even as busy they were, our food didn't take near as long as I thought! They have several locations but we went to the High Street one. Will definitely come back! Unfortunately 8pm on a Friday night is still considered peak time for those dining out in Clintonville, so I'm emphasizing to get there early or call. Now to the food. The brussel sprouts are amazing, and anyone I have ever brought here remembers them months and even years later. Here's the description, straight from their menu: BUTTERNUT SQUASH, TALEGGIO CREAM SAUCE, BREADCRUMBS, SPICED HONEY. In Clintonville, where there are only a handful of decent (if that) dining options, this place is almost always crowded. First time here and we were underwhelmed. Our pizza had a doughy crust that didn't seem cooked fully. Nice selection of toppings and if cooked longer the pizza probably could have been really good, but this experience was kind of a let down. Prices were higher (at least for a "custom," cheese-less pizza with only 3 toppings), than seemed reasonable. I don't totally understand why they only offer one size pizza, but oh well. This is a message to the kitchen....Sooo I used to LOVE your burgers... the one with the two patties, but I was recently there only to find they had reverted back to their single thick burger... this is not a good change.... you had one of the best burgers in town and I have had amazing burgers from around the world... The new burger is ok, but the old burger is why I came to Harvest. It was flavorful and a delight to the tastebuds. Bring back the two thinner patties! You are doing a disservice to yourself and to Columbus!! Overall though, the place is chill, the beers are cold, and the pizza is solid! I love Harvest Bar + Kitchen! The menu has lots of options to satisfy anyone's dietary needs and preferences. Their pizza is very good, as well as their salads, and their homemade veggie burger is my favorite in the Columbus area. It's served with fingerling potatoes that are so good. The bar is beautiful and they serve excellent cocktails. I like sitting on the patio in nice weather. Harvest is a solid choice for business lunches as well.
