My partner and I love their buffalo cauliflower app. We go to Harvest consistently because of it! We really like to go for their lunch specials because it is a good deal. Their arancini app is nothing special (not pictured). Their Brussel sprouts are a close second for the cauliflower app. I always get the roasted garlic pizza which is my favorite pizza on their menu. Great lunch special! When I saw Kale Caesar on the menu, I'll admit I expected a mix of kale and romaine. It came out all kale and I was concerned, but the flavor was great. I loved the addition of the nuts on top. We created our own pizza and it tasted fantastic. We also tried the fried yardbird sandwich with potato wedges. I am not from Columbus, but the first time I was here was about 8 years ago. I loved it so much and have remembered it for so long. Yesterday when I was passing through Columbus, I made sure to stop here to see if everything was as good as I remembered (and I'm happy to report, it was). My friend and I were told it would be about a 30 minute wait, but we were seated much quicker (felt like less than 10?). We ordered the Brussels, kale salad and cauliflower Buffalo Wings to split. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. For my main dish, I ordered a pizza that was split 1/2 mushroom truffle and 1/2 roasted garlic. Both were amazing. The mushroom had the perfect amount of truffle and the roasted garlic half had a bunch of interesting toppings (raclette, chili, arugula). I love how their menu and pizzas specifically are creative, yet everything goes together perfectly. I can't really choose a favorite because everything was so tasty and fresh. It's also worth noting that Harvest uses a lot of local ingredients in their dishes (and I think drinks). For drinks, I had a mule which had pineapple added (they change the fruit out seasonally). Delicious, different from your traditional mule, and well balanced (not too sweet). I also had the one with a house made earl gray, which was also perfectly balanced. The drinks were really creative, fresh and perfectly balanced. The service here is great, and the staff is super efficient. This place was packed on a Wednesday, and we were seated quickly and received our food quickly. In my opinion, prices are extremely reasonable for the unique/fresh offerings on this menu. I hope it's not 8 years before I'm back in Columbus, but I will definitely be back here next time I'm in town!! read more

Got a lot of recommendations on this place. I've been on a pizza binge so figured I'd try it out. I got the Ohio Double Bacon pizza, well done. You can tell this is a real wood fire oven after the first bite. The smoke is there, but not overwhelming, just right. Similar to other wood fire pizza places, no crunch to the crust, but delicious. Little bit more texture than Dewey's, little bit less chew, but both equally great. Really liked the real Parmesan cheese on the outside, great flavor. Quality cheese, bacon and Canadian bacon. I stopped by for a quick meal at Harvest and I can say that I agree that their pizza is the best in Ohio. Their Clintonville locale is elegant and welcoming, with comfortable seating both indoors and out on the patio. They offer a modest happy hour, consisting of discounts on drinks from 4-6 on weekdays. We started with the arancini and it was splendid. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the exterior was crisp, with a decent level of spice. We tried the Quattro fromaggi pizza and it was excellent. The cheeses were each unique and they worked well together; the dish was topped with fragrant roasted rosemary and the crust was crisp and cooked perfectly. Came here with a group of friends (6 people) on a Friday night around 7:45. There was a wait which we expected and we didn't get seated until around ~8:25. The staff was very nice and friendly. They answered our questions about the portions and the menu items. My friend and I split the kale Caesar salad and the almond pesto pizza. It was delicious!! Very happy with the decision. The hazelnuts on the salad were wonderful and there was a perfect amount of dressing and cheese. The pizza was also cooked very well. I'm all here for a traditional pie but what really gets my mouth salivating (gross right? Sorry!) is a funky fun combination of original ingredients. Harvest serves up just that. They have a wide assortment of "pre-made" pies to choose from, as well as the option for create your own from their large list of sauces, cheeses, and toppings. I was in for lunch so i was lucky enough to score their lunch special -- between 11-4pm any other their pizzas can be made into a 9" personal pan for $9. You can additionally add a side salad (3 options) for $2.50. Lit. I ordered their almond pesto pizza which was SOO GOOD, and their mean green salad, i repeat SOO GOOD. While I waited for my friend to arrive I sipped on one of their seasonal cocktails, You're a Daisy. It was pretty expensive for what it was but it was delicious. They infuse gin with yellow bell peppers. Wild. Would drink again just wish it didn't cost as much as my food. :/ Kayla was my server and she was fantastic. Attentive and helpful. She explained their specials and even helped me pick out a cocktail. My friend had been talking up the kale Caesar for some time so it was only a matter of time for me to check it out. Surprised and thankful that they do their daily special on the weekend as well - a reduced cost specialty pizza and a $3 side salad, perfect. I got the Roasted Garlic pizza and it was perfect. Crust had crunch but also was tender, enough cheese, a little bit of spice, topped with fresh arugula. The kale Caesar was simple but delicious. Who knew hazelnuts belong in a salad? Not me. I got the Harvest burger and it was EXTREMELY salty. It had good flavors and I appreciated the buttermilk sweet onions, but the saltiness really ruined it. Our waitress unfortunately barely checked up on us and by the time she did I was over it! I let my friends try the burger too and they said it was overly salty. I'm not sure what was making it so salty but it really did seem like someone put a bunch of salt into it. She even forgot to give us our leftovers...I understand it got busy, but I do have reasonable expectations from waitresses and waiters. My friends ordered pizzas and they really enjoyed it. The spicy Yuma was probably a table favorite. Their happy hour is limited, but we definitely took advantage of the $3 sangrias. My friend and I went to Harvest Bar + Kitchen tonight around 6:30 pm. We saw the sign at the front of the restaurant that said please wait to be seated then were told we could sit at the bar by ourselves. We both ordered a drink and I got a glass of wine which was great of course. We decided to split the arancini appetizer- 100% recommend. They are so warm and melt in your mouth, completely worth it and we get every time. It did take a little longer for our pizza to come out which is fine but we ordered the meatball pizza which was again amazing just like the appetizer. It was a little small in my opinion due to sharing with a guy, we both got about three slices but they were small slices. I was still a little hungry but after waiting a little bit I felt full. Just got some COVID Take-Out and it was the best! The Buffalo Cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were solid starters. The Buffalo Cauliflower was served with a side of house ranch that was vegetable-y (in a very good way) and super tasty. And the sprouts? Never ate a cruciferous vegetable that fast in my entire life. I also had a House Chop salad and there is just *something* magical about that salad I'll never understand. Maybe it's the bite of the radicchio or the herbs they put on top. I WILL NEVER KNOW. My husband got a burger and moaned with pleasure during every bite. During COVID, we've been doing carry out every once in awhile but it gets a little old because it feels like we keep eating certain cuisines on repeat. It was nice to mix it up with some good ole Americana food to fill our bellies and warm our hearts. UPDATE: I took my brother to Harvest Bar + Kitchen before a screening at the Wexner Center because I couldn't stop talking about the pizza. It was quite busy for a Tuesday night, but we were able to sit down right away. I have no complaints about the food, the pizza and pumpkin pie we got were tasty, but the service was rather slow. It took our waitress about 10 minutes to stop by and ask for our drink orders. I'm not sure if this was experienced by the other customers that night, but I couldn't help but feel that because we were a little on the younger side (my brother is not 21 and I didn't feel well enough to get a boozy drink) we were not taken as seriously as we might have been. Again, that could be the story I'm telling myself, but at the moment I still stand by the four star rating. However, I am sure I will stop by Harvest Bar + Kitchen again. As a dairy free eater- I love this place. They have all their allergens laid out on the menu and accommodate most everyone's needs. The dairy free cheese is delicious. I'm not sure if they make it or use another vendor's cheese... either way- it's great pizza cheese. I like to build my own dairy free pizza. Their pizza happy hour is also a great deal!! It's a very modern establishment, with the subway tile (ick!). But I did like the light fixtures. The space inside is small but they've got a ton of outside seating along the side of the building as well as at the front. Service was very prompt and I love that our waitress came by and took plates and refilled drinks and such. My table of six ordered hush puppies which were disappointing. They weren't flavorful enough? I guess those are my southern roots kicking in. We got the margherita pizza, mushroom, and spicy yuma. I'm a big fan of the original Harvest in German Village (RIP), so I wasn't sure how this one would compare. I came with a group of four on a Saturday evening. We had to wait about 15 minutes, but the atmosphere is so cozy, it wasn't a problem. I think I like the atmosphere here more than the one that was in German Village. It's very rustic yet bright, and it's very trendy. The service was very good - there were frequent check-ins and our server was very knowledgable with suggestions. We got the cauliflower buffalo bites and hush puppies as appetizers. Both were really delicious. The cauliflower tasted just like high-end chicken nuggets, and the hush puppies came with a lime to cheese that was just as good on its own. We shared a Spicy Yuma and Margherita pie. Both were full of flavorful toppings, and had a nice char to the crust. I also like how they use a lot of local ingredients. My only issue was that the crust was way too flimsy. I've been to Harvest many times and it's always good. Last time we were there we had a fennel sausage pizza which was outstanding. I'm not one to eat pizza often, but this pizza I cannot resist. I also ordered the meatballs which were so good. I also LOVE their Kale Cesar but didn't order it this time around. Arguably the best neapolitan pizza in Columbus. They use proper/authentic technique to not only make/prepare dough but also source 00 flour. They use high temperature oven with contemporary baking. The crust edges were slightly charred and center part was thin as it should be. Mozzarella and tomatoes were fresh. Although it was missing fresh Basel. If you really like crust or bread, this is the place for you. I do like their pizza, but I don't like getting to the crust after two bites. If half a slice of pizza is crust, count me out. So, if crust is your favorite part(weirdo) you're gonna love Harvest. It seems intentional and skimps out on actual non-bread toppings. Harvest is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus, and I have come here several times for both lunch and dinner and always enjoy the food. This particular location is great - there is easy parking, the service is always exceptional, and it has such a great atmosphere with cute decor. You can definitely go here in jeans - it has a casual and fun feel. I've mainly had pizza every time I've come here, but I will say one time I had the Harvest Burger and it. is. to. die. for. SO good. I swear I thought about that burger for a week after. This time I came for dinner on a Friday around 6:15pm; we didn't have reservations but we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. They were very busy but our server was attentive and efficient. I ordered a Tom Collins for my drink and they made it very well. They also have a good wine list, and my dining partner ordered a glass of Chardonnay. For food, we both had a kale caesar salad, and I would honestly come here just to eat that. It is beyond delicious. We ordered two pizzas, which is PLENTY for two people, and allowed us to try two different kinds and then have leftovers. We had the fennel sausage pizza, which is delicious, and the white pizza, which I've had before and enjoy every time. They have thin crust that doesn't detract from the toppings, and the flavors are excellent on every pizza. In the past I have also had the Margherita pizza and the almond pesto pizza, both of which are also very good. We thought about doing a create your own pizza, but combining toppings to be even remotely comparable to the pizzas they offer was too intimidating!
