Wow. I love this place. Well, at least I love their food and Kendrick who treated us so warmly. We were staying at the Trilogy Hotel (such a beautiful place). I'd hoped to eat inside the restaurant. However, we were running behind schedule and needed to get breakfast to our room. As I approached the host stand to ask for a menu, Kendrick greeted me and said please take a menu up to your room. He then told me he'd be up in five minutes to take our order, then said ten minutes to give y'all more time. I answered that this would be wonderful. He did exactly what he said. Then about 20 minutes after that, he arrived with our food. His hospitality was above and beyond. I really enjoyed chatting with him as well. He was genuinely interested in why we were in town and how we were enjoying our stay. We had Pierre's French Pain Perdue with applewood smoked bacon, the 707 classic breakfast (two eggs, bacon, biscuit, bfast potatoes, asparagus, tomato), the cheddar biscuits with sausage gravy, and Lavazza coffee. The food was top notch. So delish. Unfortunately we didn't get to have dinner at Harvest Moon or a snack from Vesper Sky Lounge. But, breakfast was superb! Please try this place. Also try the Trilogy Hotel. Big shout out to Tasha and Josie.

This Filipino-inspired coffee shop offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and drinks that stand apart from the typical chain coffee experience. Our family sampled three beverages: the Salted Caramel Kape, a Kape Kape with added caramel, and an Ube Kape. Every drink was smooth, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For food, my wife and I ordered the pork siopao while Bethany chose the chicken siopao. Both arrived piping hot, with soft, pillowy buns and savory fillings that paired perfectly with the coffee. The service was friendly, the ambiance inviting, and every item we ordered exceeded expectations. It's refreshing to find a local café that executes both beverages and light bites so well. Best of all, this was one of the places Bethany most wanted to experience during our trip to Huntsville, and it did not disappoint. Kape Tayo delivered memorable coffee, delicious siopao, and an experience that left all three of us wanting to come back. If you're in Huntsville and appreciate unique coffee shops, this one deserves a spot on your itinerary.

I paid $8.51 (before tip) for a large Buko Pandan, and for the price point expected a lot more to drink. Most of the coconut jellies and tapioca pearls fell to the bottom of the drink underneath the ice. In addition, I'm not sure if there's just a lot of Pandan dye that was used but the interior of my mouth was pretty green after finishing the drink. If there's a way to get less ice, I'd prefer that.

The fish was completely boneless, and there were plenty of other goodies throughout the soup, which gave it a nice balance so it didn't feel like I was just eating a bowl of cream. Everything tasted well thought out and satisfying without being overly heavy. Overall, a very good experience, and I'd definitely come back.

So, first impressions was that we was in a very lovely surrounding and the menu ticked the boxes. Then, the young man who came to serve us was a very sterile individual indeed. We tried to engage him conversation but the silence and world class poker face he greeted our chat with was truly world class. Generally speaking, the food was good all except the Gorganzola sauce flooded which has a similar taste to licking battery acid. Then, very graciously, our english family member chose to pay for the meal as a gift and had a little confusion in regards to the american tipping policy so sought help from us whilst we shopped upstairs in the butchers. This was where he unfortunately encountered the most rude, brutish member of staff who insulted him with a foul level of arrogance stating she has never known someone to not understand the tipping policy instead of steering him in the right direction. And unfortunately for the member of staff, the person who she chose to belittle him to was his partner who was aghast at the level of unproffessionalism and completely ruined the experience and left us disgusted. This is not what you'd expect from British hospitality and I think this needs to be investigated. Shame on the member of staff.
