Our AC went out yesterday, on the hottest day of the year, and we have a full on 7 person birthday party happening tomorrow. My husband had certain chores that he had to get done in order for this party to take place so I offered to go and seek help at Hasco. As a woman, I'm generally intimidated by going to places like this, or car shops, or home improvement centers etc. I have to say, I have never been put so much at ease by the kindness and professionalism of this businesses personnel. They took the time to explain to me what I needed to do in order to try and fix the problem on my own and even offered other ideas if that didn't work. We did try, but not being the professionals ourselves, we made a minor mistake and had to have a house call . Everyone that I spoke to and everyone that helped us resolve this issue was top-notch! Their work is impeccable but their kindness and generosity with working overtime to resolve our issues was more than appreciated! Ladies, do not be intimidated about going to the shop if you need help and of course the same goes for the men. Even the customers I met there were friendly. I had the BEST experience at Hasco in Riverside! I dont even know where to start.. My motor for my A.C went out and I went to Grainger, (was closest to home) and it ended up being the wrong decision. Not only was the lady not helpful, but had absolutely no knowledge of anything. SO, I googled and found Hasco in Riverside and decided to give them a call. BEST decision EVER! The receptionist was SO sweet and friendly. So I decided that was my go to place. I went to Hasco with my broken pieces in hopes that they would have my parts.. as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the same receptionist who took my call. Immediately she offered me a seat and an iced cold cup of water. She helped me find my part in no time and managed to get me my parts THE SAME DAY, LITERALLY WITHIN 30 MINS. I was so grateful that Kayla ( the receptionist) helped me and made my search for my motor piece simple. Hasco in Riverside is definitely the place to go to! I had a last minute issue I needed handled in a few hours due to the fact that I was starting work for a new company last week. Start date was yesterday, Friday. So it had to be done Thursday. How would that look if I could not make it on my first day? BAD!!! I reached out to the People/Company I knew had the best chance of coming through for myself and family,neighbors,and friends. They have done so many times in the past. This was truly GO TIME!!!. I reach out to Sal,Chris and the HASCO Dream Team. He, got back to me and stated "I'll have MY Guys there By 5pm". They showed up not later than 4:45pm. This was a difficult task because my home is a split level residence and having to move heavy objects is no easy task. Sal truly is very helpful and knowledgeable. He came out last year when my A/C would not turn on outside and only hot air was coming through the vents (I am a stay at home Mom and my Husband is on the road 24/7. With that being said- I know nothing about the A/C Unit) He drove all the way to the High Desert and knew within 30 seconds what the problem was and the air was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Yesterday, I changed the filter and then turned the air on and once again it would not start outside and was blowing hot air. I called him and he didn't even need to see the A/C Unit to know what the problem was (the Breaker) It was running in no time once I figured out where the breaker was outside. I am VERY thankful for the instructions because having three babies in this heat is a NO-GO. So, once again Sal, thank you, thank you, thank you! Both as a competitor, and a customer, of Hasco, I have nothing but respect, and appreciation, for the work these guys do. As a customer we use their HERS rater (Chris) to test our systems to meet minimum state requirements for system efficiency. What I appreciate about Chris is his integrity, fairness, and willingness to work with us. Even his pricing is fair for what the job requires. When it comes to competing against them, I find their pricing fair for the work they are proposing. Too many times I find contractors offering low bids to get the work, but take huge short cuts that only result in decreased comfort, and increased utility bills for the customer. These guys take an honest approach to system replacements, and advise their customers appropriately. I recently had a very disappointing experience with this air conditioning company. The technician who came to service my unit asked me where he could access the top of the unit. I was shocked because I assumed he was the expert and should know these basic details. It made me question his competence and the overall professionalism of the company. To make matters worse, they never followed up after the service. The technician took over an hour to diagnose the problem when they almost guaranteed me they wouldn't take that long to tell me what was wrong with the unit. I felt like they just took my money. I expected a knowledgeable and experienced technician, but instead, I felt like I was guiding him through the process. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and expert service. read more

Hasco installed a forced air heater for me about nine years ago. Since then their technicians have tried to sell me services I did not need. Two different techs informed me that my duct work was "shredded" and all the air was escaping in the attic. The cost for that would be $3,000. Fornutately my daughter has a friend who is a commercial heating and air conditioning tech who came out and said I had metal duct work (couldn't possibly be shredded) and did a simple repair for $200. Recently I had an intermitant problem with the heater. The repair was to cost about $250. but the tech said it was something else and charged me $650. for a part that was still working. Of course I had to have the intermitent problem fixed later so I paid over $850. for what should have been a simple $250. repair. read more

They systematically narrowed down the problem and took the time to show me how fix it. HASCO has helped me on several occasions. They have fixed and replaced parts on two ac units. Each time the service tech were on time, very professional, and very informative. In particular, Chris, explained what was wrong, what part was needed, and how it worked. I felt educated about why my ac unit was not working and what needed to be done. They prices were fair. After each experience I felt very satisfied with the repairs. My ac units have worked perfectly since. I will always call HASCO and will greatly recommend them to all friends and family. read more
