Vibey, fun brunch spot in Cooley Station! Have been here a couple of times and have always had great experiences. If you like fun cocktails and unique takes on brunch classics, look no further. They have a BYO (Build Your Own) Bloody Mary bar. Yes, bar. I've seen some crazy concoctions made here. Food wise, how about bacon with 24k gold flakes to get you started! Tried the McDrizzle sandwich recently and loved it! So good! And the fries are some of the best around. Would also recommend their eggs benedicts too. You likely will need a reservation or get here early, especially on the weekends. Gets busy in a hurry! Service is always good though. Hash Kitchen is a go to brunch spot!

Flies

Came here on a Monday morning. Service was fast & attentive at first, but then fell off once we got our food. Food was good, however they have a VERY bad fly problem in the restaurant. We were constantly swatting flies away from our food to the point that we eventually gave up on eating it because we were grossed out by all the flies everywhere. This was more than a minor inconvenience. It was absolutely disgusting, especially for a meal at that price point. Then it took a really long time for our bill to be loaded so we could scan and pay. Also, considering the fly population, I would think long & hard before diving into the Bloody Mary bar that sits out for the insect population to enjoy.

I've visited other locations but this is the first time ordering from this location. The food is expensive so you expect excellence. My son said his bread pudding French toast sticks were hard. The billionaire bacon needs a name change. It's thick, like Canadian bacon. But, it was burnt and too chewy to eat. The tamale eggs Benedict were delicious. The sweet cakes had great flavor, though I'd prefer they were solid instead of crumbly. The carnitas and sauce had great flavor, as well. This was ordered through a delivery app. I was disappointed I didn't receive my locally canned juice drink. It sounded yummy. I'd really consider visiting the restaurant again because most of the food wasn't up to a standard of a $70 brunch, especially since we didn't have any alcohol.

Very loud. Plays a mash up of early 2000s music and it was a vibe. Super cool place. Food was good. First time trying eggs Benedict and was not disappointed. Mimosa flight was good.

My mom and I visited Hash Kitchen on a Thursday morning. The music was nice and toned down from the usual. We tried the oatmeal and the Mexicans scramble. We also had a double order of the Billionaire Bacon. So delicious! It's a must experience. #gotGoldFlakes?

8.17.25 - grabbed some brunch before the lake. It's been a while since the last time I've been to Hash. I forget how busy this place can get. Tried to get a table at the bar but unfortunately there wasn't any so we had to wait about 40 mins or so. This place is always packed at every location! Like every location, they have a dj playing. It was a bit hard to hear each other but not too bad where we have to scream. It seems their menu has changed since the last time I've been. We ordered the Chicken Tinga Scrambler and The Best F#*%ing Birria Hash with a side of toast. Food came out pretty quick. I loved my chicken tinga scrambler dish! It had really good flavor and was the perfect amount for me. I think he liked his birria hash. The tortillas were a bit oily so he used toast instead. I would recommend trying the tinga scrambler!

I really liked this location. Fun decor, fun experience. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was good. Only reason its 4 and not 5 is I found the waffles a little dense for my liking and the chicken wings were a fattier style, not my favorite. Overall though it was a good experience. I will return to sample other dishes as the menu was varied.

Stopped in Hash Kitchen for some breakfast while in Mesa, as it was close to my hotel. We were seated as soon as we walked inside and the hostess was friendly. This place looks like it is kept clean and the decor resembles that of your typical trendy restaurant. You know, the ones with loud upbeat music and overpriced items on the menu? The food I ordered wasn't bad at all, with the exception of the pancake. The pancake had an earthy flavor and wasn't very good. The Mexicana scrambler I ordered was decent, although I'll probably try the chile relleno Benedict the next time I am in Mesa. My only concern was, our server was more interested in tending to her cell phone than taking care of her customers. Other than that, Hash Kitchen wasn't too shabby. Give this place a shot - you may like it. One thumb and a half-smile for Hash Kitchen. Happy eating, my foodies!

French toast and potato tacos

Will was the best server all while working the Bloody Mary bar too! Highly recommend this location for a fun and yummy brunch! French toast and potato tacos were amazing!

Do they have really loud music at this location? Chandler was deafening on Sunday.

They did have a DJ but it wasn't so loud that you can't have a conversation, at least when I was there. Hope that helps.

The oysters are a must, the steak is cooked perfectly, and everything is plated so thoughtfully it really feels like a full experience, not just a meal. The dinner staff has also always been attentive, friendly, and on point. That said, I recently came in for brunch and had a very different experience. I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. I'll definitely be back for dinner, but I'd probably skip brunch next time.

Inside is truly unique blend of African safari, Aussie chefs complete with hats wood grilling tomahawks and tons of meat right in the middle of the restaurant. Decor is again rather unique with a mix of wood, soft furnishings, drapes, brass and stuffed exotic animals (which im sure are clever fakes) Josh at the bar was awesome, not just for me but extremely attentive and quick at delivery. Remembered drink preferences, even an unusual order i made which he delivered perfectly after serving 2 others who joined me. Everyone behind the bar kept my water topped up and the bar free of soiled napkins and empty glasses. Prices were extremely reasonable. Few drafts on tap and am extensive bar and cocktail selection. Definitely going to return back to enjoy the food, smelled wonderful.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. It was too Hot for us to do pickleball, but they do have a fully shaded area that had people playing outside ~105 degrees. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!

The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine.
