I met up with some girlfriends for Black Friday brunch...I hadn't been to this location before. Our server was AMAZING, delicious food and good Vibe!

The only thing I'm mad about is the fact that we don't have a Hash Kitchen in Michigan! This place was SO fun! We came in on a Monday for brunch and there was only one other table, but I was ready to join the waitlist on their website! Right off the bat, the decor is SO fun. Love the bright and clean aesthetic. The walls are fun to read - my kids had fun reading all the sayings. The Bloody Bar right when you walk in, the DJ, disco ball... just puts you in a good mood! (note, this is not your quiet breakfast place - come here for fun and vibes!) I did not get the bloody bar, but OMG the toppings looked SO good. So impressed. We started with the Cannoli Donuts. Get these. Just do it. They were heaven! I got the Chilaquiles because if they are on the menu, I have to. However, it was a tough choice because the whole menu looks amazing. I got the red and green sauce with these, and they were SO good. Def. recommend. One kiddo got the pancakes and the other got the kid's french toast. The french toast stole the carb show - they were thick and dense and insanely good. Hubby ordered the Chicken Tinga Scrambler - he was halfway through the plate when he realized he was given the Mexicana. Right as he realized it, the server brought out the correct meal and told him she realized the mistake and apologized. So, he got to eat half of the first one (which he did like, as well) and all of his ordered one - that he really liked, too. By the time we were leaving the place was getting full! Definitely a hoppin' spot. If we were in a city with a Hash Kitchen, I'd come back again! This time, bloody mary for SURE!

I used to be a regular here daily! Different location but the same excellence! It was the one on Scottsdale I used to frequent, but this one fits the bill!

Was in town for an event and wanted to give Hash Kitchen a try since we received rave reviews about their Bloody Mary bar. The Bloody Mary bar did not disappoint. There were so many side options to adorn your Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary itself was very tasty and had the right amount of bite (which was adjustable also). The stack of protein pancakes were very generous. The texture of pancakes were more chewy than fluffy probably due to the chia seeds. I really liked the texture, but it may not be for everybody. We also ordered the breakfast burrito, chicken tinga scramble, and the birria nacho. All the food was delicious, but of the three, the birria nacho really stood out. The beef was tender and nachos are puffy and crispy. Lastly, there was a live DJ playing music. This kept the ambience lively, but depending on the DJ, I can see that this can also be a source of a lot of noise.

Today I visited the Hash Kitchen! I'm not exactly happy about my visit today nor am I mad. I'm just disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant I will say I loved the ambiance. The wallpapers and the lights, the colors and the concept was super nice on the eyes and unique. I loved that on the weekends they have a DJ booth and this place lights up for brunch. What an amazing concept. With the Bloody Mary bar? So many options to choose from and they were huge!!! Very awesome idea to stand out above other brunch spots in the valley. Me and my party were very hungry and excited to see their fun menu. For drinks we got coffee and I got tea. It was a little strange though when asking the server what tea options they had, he looked at me with confusion. Almost as if he never even knew they served tea. Even expressing to me that he didn't even know what teas they had! If he was confused, I was way beyond confused! What a strange interaction.. please servers know your menu. It helped that he came back out and actually brought out the box of teas they offered. I appreciated the approach to fix the confusion. As for food, one of the members in my party had ordered the Birria hash, and she for one was not a fan. She quotes "flavorless". The tortillas were hard and not appetizing. The cheese was also flavorless. Everything tasted so bland and dry. She does not recommend this item either. My second member had ordered the scrambler platter, not impressed either. "Reminds me of a dennys" which is unfortunately mediocre for a brunch restaurant that should stand out for its own flavors. It had flavor to it but honestly could get this same thing from somewhere else both more affordable and more appealing. As for me I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and a side of scrambled eggs. The eggs were just eggs. In facts they were not even warm? Kinda hard and cold. Not fluffy, hard scrambled eggs. Really just not impressed with how dry and plain they were cooked. Maybe some seasoning next time? The buttermilk pancakes were warm, not impressed either. Why are they so chalky and tough? The size is massive and impressive to look at. Cutting through these pancakes were so tough. Even eating them was just so dry and thick. I'm not impressed. These need better flavor, maybe less flour should be used.. I do love the fact that the butter wasn't cold and stuck on! I was able to scoop the butter nicely which is always something I find problematic about pancakes from restaurants. They did something right thank goodness! Presentation with food was beautiful. Made everything look appetizing. But the presentation is unfortunately deceiving for the flavor. The concept is amazing and my party appreciated the effort when it came both the server and manager asking how the service was and what can be done better... thank you Eric for doing your best today. We just hope this location picks up more and maybe review their own meals to see what they can do better. Would hate to see this location fail so I'm hoping for the best. Thank you!!

What! Mimosas and quesadillas in the morning?!!? What a great spot... fun music great service and the birria has was recommended to us by the bartender and it hit all the right notes: egg, potatoes, birria, consommé, salsa, and quesadillas to dip! So good! Mimosas were great with lots of choices. Thanks for the welcoming service to couple of LA folks passing through!

Absolutely loved this place while visiting the Phoenix area! It truly is an ENTIRE VIBE!! Super modern restaurant with a live DJ playing all the hits! Wasn't sure whether to eat my food, get up and dance or do both! LOL! The food was amazing! Could not resist getting the Birria Hash, which was beyond flavorful and great! Portions were super filling as well! And for my drink, I absolutely had to get the Build Your Own Bloody Mary bar! That's such a great feature and option and it was really good! The staff was really good as well! Gave great suggestions and got things going for us! Multiple people came over to the table to check in as well. And DJ Kev (@kevinm4.km) was a great DJ that kept us moving while eating, playing all the hits! That's a great feature to have in the restaurant! Can't wait to come back and visit! Definitely give them a try if in the area! IG/TikTok: JBEatzCLT

Depending on the day, highly recommend joining the waiting list online, in advance. We joined the waiting list online, in advance and was seated immediately upon arrival. Thankfully outside since it was very loud inside! The waiter came and explained the menu, Bloody Mary bar and mimosa options. Wait time for food was as expected. Dishes came out and were very attractive, hot and the first bites were good. Somewhat salty. Large portions, slightly imbalanced between bread, egg and sauces. There are quite a few locations throughout the metro area. Breakfast for four adults = $160 including tip

Went to Hash Kitchen with a group of guys as we were celebrating a bachelor party for our buddy. This was our meal before we went to golf. We arrived (without a reservation) and they sat us within 10 minutes, which was great, cause there were 10 of us. The vibe inside almost felt like a club. There was music playing, someone was passing out shots (a promoter promoting some type of liquor), and just overall it was so much fun. My favorite thing definitely had to be the bloody mary bar. They had sooooo many ingredients and toppings to choose from. They bring you the glass and you go and fill it up with whatever you want, no limit at all! For food, I got one of the Hash Kitchen hashes, which was really really good. They have a pretty big menu, so you're bound to find something you'll like! Highly recommend Hash Kitchen!

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 quick and fast and welcome Ambiance is fun and energetic, great music. I heard some all types and a lil hip hop that's my favorite! I highly recommend this restaurant. Having previously dined at the Indian School location, I now frequent this establishment due to its proximity to my residence and exceptional service. I have had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who extends a warm welcome upon each visit, making me feel like I'm greeting a friend. Today's experience was exemplary, as a server promptly continued to attend to our table despite spilling sauce, and another server quickly assisted with the cleanup before the food was even served. The customer service was impressive throughout. The food is consistently outstanding, with attention to detail, and the service is always friendly and efficient. I highly recommend visiting during weekdays as welll, as the mimosas are a great deal!!

I just had the best breakfast ever. Can't have the eggs, because they don't like me, so I had some of the carnitas. SO GOOD!

Excellent! I had a small sample of the Carnitas Hash in my first visit and had a full order on my second. Loved every bite.

Saw this place on IG and it looked like something we would love. And we did! #awesome Inside we found a live dj for brunch on a Friday! Dj Kev had me ready to hit the nonexistent dance floor! He played some really good tracks - and a mix of R&B, hip-hop and pop hits. This spot is 100% IG worthy. Not just the decor.. the food too. I ordered a mimosa flight which featured orange, pineapple, blueberry and strawberry mimosas. All good and so was the presentation. They have an awesome Bloody Mary bar if that's your thing. You can get really creative with the toppings. For my entree I chose the banana split French toast. The presentation was everything. Only thing is they didn't clean up the plate which would have made it even better. It was tasty but because the bread was so thick I needed more syrup which I eventually flagged someone down to get. I also had the millionaire bacon which was good. Our server wasn't the best - he kept leaving us for extended periods of time. But fortunately other servers stopped by to check on us from time to time. This is a really cute spot and I'm glad we stopped in. If I lived here I would come back in a heartbeat.

I think my experience was heightened because I was not expecting the food to be as great as it was! The breakfast nachos are a MUST!! The chipotle cheese and the chicken tinga was amazing! And the "wake the eff up" martini is so beautiful and yummy. The space and ambience is such a vibe and our server was so attentive and kind I wish I would have gotten his name but this place was so great especially for the PRICE!!!

At one point, while sitting in what is supposed to be a speakeasy, we were literally listening to him sing "creep" which is one of the most depressing songs of all time. It felt much more like being at a loud dive bar or country bar than an intimate 1920s inspired speakeasy. My biggest issue is that the entertainment did not match the experience being advertised. You can decorate a room beautifully and make it look like the 1920s, but when the soundtrack is "Genie in a Bottle," "Creep," and Backstreet Boys songs being loudly belted into a microphone, the illusion disappears pretty quickly. The noise level also made it difficult to simply sit, have a drink, talk, and enjoy the space. We specifically chose this place because we wanted that relaxed jazz/speakeasy experience, and that simply wasn't what we got. The cocktail selection was another disappointment. For a speakeasy-style bar, I expected a stronger selection of specialty bourbon and whiskey cocktails. The prices also felt excessive for the overall experience. On top of the already-high prices, we paid a $20 entertainment cover ($10 per person) specifically for the band. I wouldn't have minded paying a cover for quality live entertainment that fit the advertised atmosphere, but the artist was not particularly impressive and, more importantly, the music didn't fit the theme at all. There is a lot of potential here. The space itself is beautiful, the service was good, and they nailed many of the visual details. Unfortunately, the entertainment is such a major part of a speakeasy experience that it overshadowed everything else for us. If you're specifically looking for jazz, flapper-era music, and an authentic-feeling 1920s speakeasy atmosphere, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

The lighting was very moody and if you aren't able to get a reservation there is bar seating. Happy hour prices are pretty affordable as they have an adult happy meal that included a burger, fries I believe and a glass of champagne for $40! We opted for some other appetizers like the margarita flatbread, truffle fries, and boneless wings which were all very flavorful. I do have to give it to our server though! She was very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking in on us every 20 mins or so even after we had our food!

We shared the spinach dip, truffle fries, buffalo wings, and shrimp tacos, and every single dish was a hit. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor. We also tried their mocktails, which were refreshing and well-crafted. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary sundae for dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration feel even more special. I also loved the vibe...very swanky and upscale with dim lighting and elevated energy. It felt like the perfect setting for a birthday celebration. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. If the service were better, Killer Whale Sex Club would easily be a five-star experience.

The atmosphere was unique, the bartenders were genuinely engaging, and there was a real sense of community that made every visit memorable. It became my go-to spot to bring friends from out of town and every single person I brought absolutely loved it! Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic. It feels less like a neighborhood gem and more like a stop on a nightlife circuit.
