This place was solid! My friend and I came here for a late lunch after our spa day at the resort. They have outdoor seating, but since it was Summer time we sat inside. The ambiance was dark with interesting stone wall architecture. The service was pretty quick, and Derek took awesome care of us. Lots of drinks on the menu and food too. We both ordered the Elote Tacos and they were awesome. I would definitely order these again and recommend to anyone looking for something different to order. I would come back not in summer to check out the outdoor area.

Beautiful views of the lake and golf course at this hotel bar at the Westin Kierland. The food, however, was not good. The chicken souvlaki was bland and there were pieces that were undercooked. It was quite small for the price and did not really fill me up. Our server seemed stressed even though it was not busy when we were there. The other staff who was turning on our heaters was helpful. Was hoping that a nice upscale hotel like this would have some good food.

Had an amazing experience at Antidote all thanks to our waitress Tiff! It was busy but she was very attentive and took great care of us. We were there celebrating our 4 year olds Birthday and she even sang to him and brought him ice cream! It was so special and much appreciated. We ordered the pork bao buns and chicken quesadilla - all was delicious and the ambiance is beautiful & relaxing

Antidote is the new bar experience at @westinkierland that opended earlier this year. Yes, it blocked the expansive open view of the course from the hotel lobby, but I think it's a perfect addition....shall we say it's the antidote to unused space The shade, misters, and the view will make this the new hot spot for summer. I enjoyed a seat at the bar and got some work done during lunch on a Wednesday. It was such a cool vibe, and I believe it will become a go-to spot for a relaxing drink. The pressed chicken quesadilla went well with the margarita and even better with a second cocktail, the Gin based love potion #9. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated and to also visit the desert critters on display in the lobby.

Terrible service. We literally sat there for an hour and not one (there's many) servers asked us if we wanted order. Didn't bring menus or ask if we needed anything. This place is clearly managed terribly.

Good food but prices are ridiculous for drinks and food. 32.00 for salad and grilled chkn. Cant beat the view of course. Beautiful

The pancakes are easily the highlight -- super fluffy and flavorful -- but honestly everything we've tried has been good. The breakfast tacos and benedicts are solid, and the coffee never disappoints. It can get busy on weekends, so plan ahead, but once you're seated the service moves quickly. Great spot for brunch with friends or family. Definitely a go-to breakfast place in Scottsdale.

The space is beautiful, with a great indoor-outdoor ceiling patio vibe. Typically there's a 30-40 minute wait during peak brunch hours, so plan accordingly. We were seated on the outdoor patio, and Arizona winter weather makes it absolutely perfect to sit outside. It's also dog-friendly, which is a big plus. The menu is very diverse - everything from beers and cocktails to coffee, tea, juices, and a wide variety of eggs, pancakes, and classic brunch plates. A true breakfast-brunch spot with something for everyone. There were four of us, and we ordered the Protein Trio, Snooze Classic, Spuds Deluxe, Veggie Mashup, two Super Green Juices, and a cappuccino. Everything was flavorful and well-portioned. Our bill came out to about $87 before tip. It's slightly on the pricier side, but given the location in Old Town Scottsdale and how popular the place is, it makes sense. The service, ambiance, and quality of food make up for it. If you're looking for a lively, solid brunch spot with good vibes - this is definitely worth trying.

We were seated in the back since we were a larger party, which was a little disappointing - the front area felt much more lively. We didn't realize we could request seating closer to the front, but to their credit, they did turn the music up a bit, which helped the atmosphere. The service was okay - not bad, but a little on the mediocre side. That said, the food definitely made up for it. The Wagyu steak was absolutely delicious, and the appetizers were solid as well. Even with a few small hiccups, it was still a great experience and a fun night out. We would definitely go back and would just ask to sit closer to the front next time.

Many…read morepeople have advised me to stay away, claiming the place is overhyped and that there are better options available. However, every time we visited in the past, we had a great experience--until this last visit. We made a reservation for 7:45 PM but didn't get seated until 8:30 PM. While this isn't terrible, it can be challenging when you have a little one with you, but it's to be expected as a parent. Once we were at our table, we ordered drinks and food for the kids. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I opted for an Old Fashioned. The kids ordered pasta and a cheese pizza. This is when things started to go downhill. The pasta was okay, but the pizza had a few hairs on it--more than one, in fact. This made us uncomfortable, so we informed the waiter, and they addressed the issue promptly. As we waited for the new pizza, our drinks arrived, and they were nicely presented. However, while sipping my Old Fashioned, I noticed something unusual in my drink--Tajin. Curious, I asked the waiter if this was a special variation of the Old Fashioned. She replied no, so I pointed out the issue in my glass, and she confirmed she saw the Tajin as well. I felt she was treating it as if it was acceptable, which it clearly wasn't, so I looked at her, signaling that I would like a new drink. (I wish I had taken pictures.) Following that, our main dishes started to arrive. My wife ordered a wagyu steak, and I had the pork loin. Unfortunately, we began to analyze everything after the earlier mishaps, and the vibe of the experience was completely lost. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the pizza that had hair on it and the drink that had the issue. With all that being said, I've decided I will no longer be dining here.

Because I wasn't too hungry the food filled me up pretty quickly but it was a bit unfortunate that the short rib taco comes with just one single taco and not two, even though the one taco was pretty hefty! One of my friends got a tortilla soup kind of stew dish -- forgot the name-- and that definitely would be something I would recommend instead and goes well with the tortilla chips. The restaurant definitely had some Mexican influence in its interior design but I'm not sure why they put us in a corner especially since it felt hotter there especially since it seemed their A/C broke down! It was kind of weird. We estimated high and included enough for tax and tip. I hope it worked out. The poor server was helpless. I guess without technology, everything stops.
