The dentist told me that my daughter had 4 new cavities and needed a deep cleaning with laser treatment on her gums, I knew it was a lie because she had her teeth cleaned elsewhere 3 months prior and was told her teeth were in excellent condition! I knew they were lying so I had them email our X-rays to our orthodontist and a different dentist and both said that she has zero cavities! Also does not need deep cleaning or laser treatment! SHAME ON YOU HASLEY CANYON DENTIST!! You should feel horrible lying to potential new clients!! I will never go back! read more

DENTAL FRAUD Warning - I started going to Hasley Canyon Dental Group in the Ralph's shopping center this year. They claimed I had cavities back in January and it would cost around $300 to fill but I could wait until my next cleaning to handle it. Six months later at my next cleaning, the dentist said my cavities got worse and it would cost almost $1800 to fill. I got a second opinion at the dentist I grew up going to out in Ventura County. I don't have any cavities, nothing needed to be fixed or filled. Just a heads up for anyone who is a patient there! Get a second opinion before you give away your money! read more

They repeatedly overcharged me for services. When I confronted them on it, showing them how the numbers did not match my explanation of benefits and fee schedule from my insurance, they came up with excuses. It took a 3-way phone call with my insurance agent and their front office for them to admit there "was a small discrepancy" between the numbers and to quote me correctly according to the fee schedule. In my most recent visit, they wanted to charge me over $4000 when according to insurance it should have been $1300. All of the dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and specialists seemed very nice and professional. I'm sad to leave, but it happened multiple times and I don't want to entrust my health to a dental office that is deceptive with their prices. read more

Worst dentist facility. I will never return. I was there 3 hours and only had part of the work done and they said the doctor likes to do the dental work in two parts so had me go back to complete the rest of the filling. While I was there they performed part of a cleaning and said I had to return for the second part. I left there owing $1200. Don't trust this place always make sure to do your research I went in for a consultation and I was charged $50.00 and when I found out that my insurance had already paid them that fee they still didn't want to reimburse my money until I had to give them proof even though my insurance said that they already have that information. Dr Kedia is hands down the best. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and so very friendly. She actually checked on me the next day and, in this day and age, that's such a rare occurrence. Her staff is remarkable as well. Super kind and friendly. I struggled with finding a good dentist since my childhood Dr passed away 5 years ago. I never could find a place as warm and comforting as this, until now. I'm probably one of the worst patients ever, I get nervous, I have sensitive beyond what's normal teeth and I can be apprehensive for sure. I just wanted to say that Shelby who works at the front desk is so amazing! Her customer service is out the roof! We were scoping out different dental offices in the Santa Clarita area and right when we walked in, Shelby greeting us with a HUGE smile, and was so patient, friendly, and understanding of what we were looking for! I signed up for both my daughters to get braces and they have been patients for about a year and she is just so amazing! She always treats us the same as she did on Day 1! First impression is everything, and Shelby definitely deserves a promotion and a raise! She is a hard worker and so wonderful! Update: They saw my poor review and immediately wanted to settle with me. And in exchange, I remove my review on yelp. I appreciate the refund, although 8 months after being charged. I still hold firm on my opinion because if I hadn't left this review on yelp, who knows how much longer I would have had to wait for my reimbursement! Again, they're all nice people, but really unethical business practices. Original: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTE CROOKS. They charged me $2,500 upfront on one procedure date, and another $814 on another date, with $747 left to be paid ($4,061 total). I got my Explanation of benefits from my insurance provider and it said my total responsibility to Hasley Canyon Dental was only $1,769 in total for all procedures. I've been going back and forth between my insurance and this dental office for SEVEN months trying to get a reimbursement. They keep giving me the run around and it's maddening. Everyone in the office is extremely nice, but I felt rushed, not listened to and like I was just there to be sold things to. When getting my crowns, I told them that I had them grind them down too far and I wanted it to be fixed because it's messing with my natural bite and nothing was done about it. The crown I had replaced by them was pretty poorly done - I can feel the lip of the top of the crown that meets my gums when I floss. So I know food is getting in there, which is going to create more damage. I've expressed this to them as well and again, nothing was addressed. I've spoken with a few people in the area and they all say they were grossly overcharged as well. Again, everyone in the office is nice... but it's like you're at a damn car dealership... all about how much they can get you for. If I could rate this place negative stars, I'd do that. If there was a point where I was confused or needed more explanation on something, everyone was so kind and patient to help explain it to me. Even the receptionist was very involved and extremely helpful as she walked me through the costs of possible procedures line by line! I definitely left the office with no confusion about anything and have never felt more comfortable at a dentist office (and I've had some traumatic experiences believe me). They were gentle with me and asked me to make it known if anything was too painful for me (I had a cavity filling), and when I did they gladly accommodated for me and adjusted the pressure of their drill. Side note: I went in just for a cleaning and orthodontist referral, and I left that same day (not even knowing I had a cavity) with a tooth filling. They were so prompt and efficient! She took her time when it came to the cleaning and made sure she removed it all. Loved that! Dana helped fit me in when I needed a certain time for an appt and that was so appreciated! I started coming here in 2020 after I had a dental emergency and my regular dentist couldn't see me because they were closed during the start of COVID when everything was closed. I never went back to my old dentist and I have been going here ever since. The office and all the equipment used are modern. Don't go there, they are very nice on first visit then you will get angry in the way that you can't do anything. This was the worst experience my wife and I have had with a dentist. On our first visit, she was shown a bill for almost $1,500. When I called my insurance company, the dentist was overcharging us by almost $500. When I argued against her, they finally reduced the amount and we agreed to return. After we returned, my wife was treated but now she supposedly had 6 cavities and she was given treatment she specifically said she didn't want. My wife has had almost no cavities in her life, so I don't believe she suddenly sprouted 6 in a year. DON'T GO HERE! Seems to me they are looking to get their money no matter what. We ended up spending almost the same amount of money they originally quoted and all the "work" hasn't been completed yet. read more

Beware! This office charges co-pay for general cleaning visit that is 100% covered by Delta Dental PPO. Brand new patient, arrived for my 1st cleaning appt 10/11/22 and the person at the front desk asked for me to pay $25.20 copay. I questioned what the copay was for and was told oh it was to see "how much my teeth needed to be cleaned". I informed them I have NEVER paid a co-pay for general cleaning. When I questioned further they told me I had maxed out my plan, that I had already used $1800. I told them that was not true, I had only used my insurance for one other cleaning this year. Then they corrected themselves and said oh wait we reversed that you actually have $1800 left to use this year, but still asked for copay. I called Delta Dental and was told they should NOT be charging a co-pay for general cleaning, and confirmed it is a preventative covered benefit at 100%. They are overcharging patients - this is WRONG! The dentist I was scheduled to see was Dr. Rupali Kedia who I never saw. I WALKED OUT and filed a complaint. The office is very clean, fast and easy check-in process, great dental payment options, dental procedures explained clearly, and dental care provided with great results. For myself, I've had periodontal issues that have been under control with the supervision and consistent care provided by Dr. Boghosian and their highly skilled hygienist. My son was under ortho care and his teeth turned out great! The ortho staff was very understanding and diligent with his treatments. Yes, he even got to select the color of his bands. As an adult he keeps up his regular dental check-ups with Dr. Boghosian giving him some tough love advice when he falls short of his dental duties. This company pushes you to get services and scares people. My daughter went into the office and came home crying. The charged her $15 deductible for the teeth cleaning and $30 for the fluoride treatment. It should not be a scary time, she visited the dentist 10 months ago and it can't be that bad.
