The smoked salmon dip is to DIE for!!! I hate fish dips, but I would kill for this dip. The taste is so complex and beautiful! The chips it comes with is the absolute perfect compliment. The barbecue was ok but to be fair I'm not big on bbq meat. The coleslaw was ok. I like mine a bit tangier where this one was sweeter, but the potato salad was bomb. I first ate here about 2 months ago and the experience was really good. We had ribs and chicken wings. The ribs and wings were amazing. Definitely top 3 BBQ in kendall, no doubt. I was just returning today for my second visit but had to turn away. They had an expletive laden flag disparaging the former President right outside the front door. Their guy already won the 2024 election. Why do this? This is not good for business. You are alienating 1/2 the population. I don't want politics with my food. This place is the definition of a whole in the wall! I couldn't find it at first. I had to call the restaurant and they were kind enough to jump out and show me where they are located. Parking wasn't easy to find, we had to park down the road and cross the street to get to the location but it's not bad. Once we walked in we were greeted and told it would be about a 5-10 mins wait for two. There were a total of about 6 tables so it had a bit of a homey feel to it, which was nice. Some people may not like the closeness but it didn't bother me. All the servers were great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered some brisket fries and they were amazing! Between two we tore it up! We also had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich and it was also delicious! I would definitely recommend this location for some great bbq! Literally the best wings, brisket, fries , ribs, I've ever had in my life. The wings were crispy and juicy, the brisket was melt in your mouth, the ribs fell off the bone. The fries were so CRISPY. The service was amazing . We were well taken care of, the waitress was amazing . The wings and ranch were an amazing combo. They had cheese curds which were Gouda and jalapeño . DELICOUS. Another one of those "slap your grandma" good BBQ places. So far I've purposefully come on Friday's so I can get the brisket loaded fries which are literally the best thing on God's green earth. The owner is super chill and the place is in a warehouse but looks like a ship galley but smells like wood chips. There signs and patches and memorabilia everywhere. It's super small so you have to wait sometimes for dine in, but they are quick with the take out as well. I could tell there were lots of regulars there also a great sign. I'm a slaw fanatic and theirs did not disappoint! Probably the best I've ever had actually. Loaded Brisket Fries are a Friday special and Wowwww sooo delicious, enough for 3-4 people. Pulled pork sandwich was very good, would have liked just a smidge more bbq sauce but next time I'll just ask for some extra on the side. I definitely appreciated that they didn't put the pork on the bread this way it wouldn't get soggy. Half rack ribs were great and had a nice bark on them. Very nicely sauced. Philly cheese steak was very good and will definitely get it again! Smoked wings also very good but also could have used some seasoning and bbq sauce. Overall very happy with the lunch and can't wait to return....maybe on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and get some pulled pork tacos and brisket tacos. We stopped by on a Friday which was kismet because that's brisket day - my favorite. Decided to try that, along with ribs and chicken wings. The wings were huge and ribs fell off the bone. Another one of those Miami restaurants that were on my list of places to try due to all the positive reviews on Yelp. We drove to it for lunch and soon understood why many called it a "hole in the wall." It's quite literally one! When we arrived, we thought we had the wrong address. I went back and checked on Google Maps to make sure. Yep, right address. But all I was seeing were... warehouses? Hate Mondays Tavern was indeed located inside of these Kendall warehouses you've probably driven by many times. It can be easy to miss. Signs outside the door advertised that the place was "politically incorrect" and that they supported our troops. Without knowing what to expect, we went in, and instantly felt like we weren't in Miami anymore. It was as if we had opened the door to the magical place of Narnia. Dim lights and a unique decor - made up of anything and everything; from license plates to vintage signs - gave the place a dive bar-like ambiance. It was a total no frills type of spot, small and with not too many tables but with more character and essence than much bigger places. Our waitress was amazing. She quickly welcomed us and gave us beer recommendations based on our taste. She was attentive and friendly all throughout and we loved chatting with her. We actually did see staff wearing masks at all times. The food was really good, and their menu was quite varied. They had it all - burgers, tacos, wraps, BBQ, handhelds and even salads. They had a ton of beers, many of them local. We had the loaded fries with pulled pork as an appetizer and it was my favorite part of the meal. It was huge and enough to share, so much so we got semi-full after eating it. I had the Loaded Croqueta Pulled Pork and it was delicious, but the bread wasn't as fresh as I had hoped. The potato salad that was supposed to come as a side never came, and we found out later, when we got the check, that they had run out. The food was very affordable and the portions generous. Once you enter you only feel good vibes! This id definitely a hidden gem in kendall! The food was phenomenal, the best BBQ we have had in a long time! We started with the chicken wings..... grilled and smoked to perfection! Next my husband tried the ribs, and loved them. It os such a big portion it fed him again as well as our son. They reheated well in our air fryer for a minute or two. We also tried the brisket which melts in your mouth, add a little Carolina sauce=heaven! They also have a vast selection of craft beers. My wife and I went for the first time this Saturday. She had the Warehouse Burger and I had the Patty Melt and we shared chicharrones which the server said they don't make it much. But they doused it with spicy buffalo sauce. Why?? I told the server they were too spicy and she suggested that they throw them back in the fryer to take off the sauce.
