Completely overpriced for what it is. It's cool that they offer different matcha blends but the overall menu is lacking and pricey. It tastes like nothing special. Service was good, employees were friendly and asked if I wanted to take a video of when they pour the matcha in my drink. The interior is lacking as well, as the counter is kind of confusing on where to order/wait, and the seating is not inviting. The seating area is just thin benches against the wall facing the counter, so no tables to sit around, and if you do sit, you're all facing the counter and watching the employees work. Its a $17 matcha drink that i had to wait forever for and i finished it before i even got to my car. The cup is small. The drink is not sweet. People who act like theres a "real" way to drink matcha are just pretentious for no reason. It's just a f*****g beverage dude, chill. I just dont think this place will survive. I dont see why anyone would be a regular here. Not just the price but the time commitment too. People got places to be, not sit in some cramped stuffy place waiting for someone to whisk their matcha. They only have 3 matcha stations.... At that rate just make it at home or you can go to another drink spot AND finish your lunch before Hatoya is done getting your order. Actually ridiculous lol. I'm not much of a matcha guy; my girlfriend is. But let me tell you, their matcha is probably the best I've ever had! It tastes so authentic and not very grassy like most places. They let you watch them make your matcha too, it's like a little YouTube channel they have going on inside! We waited for about 30 minutes in line, but it was very much worth it. 2.5 stars. Their process is very slow and you only get a small size drink no matter what you order. Then, they have the audacity to fill up the entire 10oz cup with all ice. If you are used to the sweet milky matcha this is not that. This is more authentic like grass medicine. I got the matcha shake and the syrup was poured on the bottom of the cup so it will only taste sweet when you put the straw at the bottom (kinda wished it was mixed in the drink). The pricing is the most expensive in Vegas for sure. Also, the interior design is lame, just all black walls. read more

I have been consuming matcha for practically forever now and have been a fan of it for over a decade. I have to say that this is the best matcha I have ever had anywhere. The shop is gorgeous, somewhat small (so I don't recommend lingering with a larger party), but cozy with really nice employees. Service was quick, but I went on a Monday morning right after it opened for the day. Typically, lines can get rather long on the weekends or as the day goes on. I got the Matcha Shake... it had a sweet, rich syrup on the bottom, the matcha shake in the middle, and a bunch of matcha whipped cream on top. It was beautiful and absolutely delicious. The matcha is deep, very green, umami, and strong. These drinks are not ridiculously sweet, which I love. You are there for the matcha flavor first and foremost, and as someone who has been drinking this stuff for a while, I have to say it is one of the best matcha places in Vegas. I have tried pretty much every matcha-specific cafe/drink place here and I think this place is your go-to if you prefer a less sweet, richer matcha flavor. It was $12, but I made sure to enjoy every cent of the drink. Worth it for the price? It depends on who you ask. I say it is worth it, as I enjoy high-quality matcha. BUT I can also understand that this is not a cheap place to get your matcha and that prices are very subjective from person to person. I will say that the drink had a super concentrated flavor, so for me, it is worth it. I would at least recommend everyone try this place once!! I am a huge matcha fan, always have been. Honestly this place is trash. The matcha is crazily overpriced for the flavors that the drinks give, along with the store location and size. For the drink, an ice cream add on is literally almost 5 dollars for a single scoop... which made my drink go from 7-8 dollars to almost 13! Along with the variety of sizes is nonexistent which is again, crazy for the price. Even though it's considered high quality matcha, the flavor is just not good and tastes very low. The whole cup is straight up ice and a majority of the drinks i've seen people receive dont even get filled up all the way. The priciest drink being 13 dollars is outrageous. So really, the flavor isnt good, the store is small, and the prices are unjustifiable. read more

I went on Saturday. Line was super slow. Waited an hour and only like 10 people were served. Not really happy with that considered Vegas heat. Price was expensive. 8 dollar for 12 oz matcha latte. If you want their standard drinks with ice cream and the mochi, that sums up to 14 dollars in the end. Matcha was ok, not worth the price. They also got rid of the shaved ice, which was what I was looking for to have. It's probably too cheap for them to keep it on the menu. read more

Compared to Kyoto location the shop here lacks customer service. They hide behind the ice that they fill in your cup to provide smaller portions. When asked to be served a hot matcha without milk ceremonial style they will refuse to serve the matcha without ice. If you ask for no ice they like to say they are not allowed to change the recipe. In other words the message is you will pay for your matcha the way we want to make it for you and don't you dare ask for anything different. Otherwise we will scold you for asking us to change the recipe which we apparently can't do. The product quality of the matcha itself is great but this place isn't worth fighting with the staff over and over about how I want my matcha. They are rigid and irritating. read more

The workers are nice and service was good because they wanted to provide an "authentic" experience where you watch the matcha be made in front of you -- but it felt like it was mostly for clicks/Instagram.
