    Michelada
    Janelly T.

Located at BNA near Gates B1-B3 this bar offers best prices in drinks and food. One cool thing I love was the bartender Norman. This guy was so nice he made my wish come true with a Michelada. We had to stay here for several hours since our flight was delayed. If I'm ever back here I will come back to this place.

Menu at Nashville Airport site where I visited.

Over 7,500 in my organization were in Nashville for a 6 day conference. At end, we're all in airport on Sunday to return home. A requirement for our group is a college degree. Doctors, lawyers, judges, engineers are just some of the degrees we hold. Undoubtedly, we are, without a doubt, WELL EDUCATED. Our week long time during conference was FANTASTIC. Sadly, this establishment, at the end was my lowest point. The sole server let me sit there unacknowledged for almost 10 minutes. She served 2 men that arrived after me first. She then went to a couple whom already had their food and had a lengthy convo while i remained unacknowledged. I finally got up, walked to the side where she was and asked if I could order. She was very annoyed that I asked. My diet drink..I watched her prepare. The spout poured out clear liquid, which wasn't right, so she grabbed a warm bottle of diet coke and poured it on top. It tasted flat and watered down. I never got a chance to ask for a different drink. When my food came...no napkin offered. No words. She just plopped the plate in front of me. I observed her demeanor, she was quite friendly and chatty with most but not with me. I am 56 yrs old and a retired Army Veteran as well. She walked past me several times, at one point she had a bottle of bbq sauce, I asked if I could have some. She said, "WHAT?" and then hand- gestured that she would be back. She again engaged with others on the other side of the bar. She never asked if I needed anything and just sat the bottle down a few minutes later when she passed by again. At this point, I felt so disregarded and disrespected by her sub-par customer service skills, that I just put a pile of money down and waited for my bill. Her demeanor was lacking severly. Opryland hotel was overwhelmed at all food sites since there was over 7500 of us, so i went to airport early for a good meal. This did not occur. The name on her badge was HUGHES and she needs IMMEDIATE retraining on BASIC customer service skills. Thank you.

Bbq turkey cold and the sausage was burned. If you are at the airport I would suggest starving before you eat here. Probably less painful and won't cost you $27

The grits is like a hug and a culinary vacation all at once!! Every flavor soothes you just a little bit more than the last layer of goodness. This bowl is honestly the most impressive moment of southern culinary history I've experienced on this visit. The only only only dent in their armor is the young lady in the back who refused to look up from her phone to acknowledge my compliment or fill the order. She ignored the cashier so perfectly that he almost filled the order himself. After all, the plane wouldn't wait for her! When he got close she shooed him away and she and another worker made audible insults. If the woman on the phone cared enough about her reputation, she wouldn't stand in front of the open service window ignoring her coworker. The grits are still amazing! The service was a tale that had to be told.

    Three Meat Platter

We had a 3 hour layover in Nashville so we decided to walk around the airport and my husband found this bbq place. We ordered the three meat platter (the platter had sausage, turkey, pulled pork, coleslaw, and potato salad), beer, and old fashioned. The platter was delicious and came out fast also so if you are trying to catch your flight then this is a good place to get food before your flight. I was surprised of how good the turkey was so definitely order that. We paid a total of $61 with tip for the bartender because we were at the bar hanging out. It is pricey but pretty reasonable for airport prices that tend to be more expensive. The bartender and their manager were also very friendly. This place is located in Terminal A so if you are ever in the Nashville airport and looking for a place to eat I definitely recommend this place.

I'll keep this review short and sweet. You can not find cheap foods inside of an airport. This drives my frugal meter crazy. This place intrigued me with the lure of nachos and barbecue pork. Looking at the pricing, I felt it wasn't too bad of a fat man investment. The server was a really nice Egyptian lady who gave suggestions. Since I told her that the nachos lured me in, she told me that the pork soul potatoes may scratch a similar itch with the added bonus of fries being the base layer. I decided to go with the suggestion and have mixed feelings. I felt as though more fries were needed because the toppings were plenty. I love that they did not skimp on toppings. Overall, this dish of fries is satisfying. No flavors really stood out. The barbecue sauce has a nice tangy flavor. The fries were crispy even with ample cheese sauce over them. The jalapeños had a slight kick but was not overbearing. I just wish the pork had a distinct flavor. The pork was not tough at all and had plenty of it to top off this dish. All in all, a place that has decent pricing to fill you up in the airport is always a good find. Having that place with free refills on their Pepsi products is a great find. Try these people out and let me know what you think.

5 in the morning and looking for some fast food to go? This isn't a Bad option. From the makers of Peg Leg Porker BBQ known for their Memphis styled BBQ. I loved the grits :) ~$13 a little greasy but meh. Service was slow, but friendly. Price was fair. Thanks!

We got to the airport early and decided to have one last BBQ meal before heading home. This place is located in Terminal B of Nashville airport. Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered the BBQ nachos and BBQ Pork Salad. They were both very good. The pork was tender. Portion sizes were decent. Typical airport prices. it shares seating with a bar.

4:30 AM mimosas?! Heck yeah! A great spot to hang at while waiting to board your plane. The service was super quick and the bartender was friendly especially for how early in the day it was. Def would come back here while killing time at the airport.

Pretty sad the best food on a trip to Kentucky was at an airport but this was delicious!!! Especially the dry rub wings!!! I've had a lot of airport food and this is the top of the list!!

This unassuming spot opposite B-5 caught my eye with its simple sign, soft country music, and BBQ-filled menu. I walked up and ordered the Cadillac nachos and a cup of water. I sat down in the chairs and listened to music while watching ESPN2. When my order number was called, I went up and got my food. The wait, even though I was third in line, only took a couple of minutes and I was extremely impressed with the speed. The Cadillac nachos are HUGE. The whole thing was quite delicious, and the pulled pork was so, so tender. It fell apart as I poked at it with my fork, even. The meat was delicious, and I made sure to try it on its own. This is quality pulled pork. The kitchen staff HEAPED on the pulled pork, too. I kept adding more pork to my pork rinds, along with the jalapeños, and I still had a lot left over for me to eat with a fork at the end. Nachos are the kind of dish where a lot of places will skimp on the toppings and overload it with the chips and cheese. Not PigStar though- if anything, they made the pulled pork the center of the dish and filled up the rest of the box with everything else. I feel completely full after eating this, and I genuinely got my money's worth from the cadillac nachos. If you come to PigStar at BNA, then be sure to come with an empty belly- you'll definitely need the room.

Tiny "side" of cold slaw. Mediocre smoked Turkey sandwich.

For the longest time, Bringle's was my absolute favorite in town, but Edley's may have just managed to take the crown. I almost feel like I'm cheating on Mr. Bringle by saying that, but as he famously put it, "You don't have to hate somebody else's barbecue to like mine." My default order at any top-tier joint is either a brisket plate or a multi-meat combo platter with brisket as the anchor. Edley's plates come properly equipped with two sides and a slice of cornbread. Where they really set themselves apart, though, is the menu flexibility: -The Add-Ons: You can throw on a $5 upcharge to add an extra 3 oz of meat or a jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage. -Burnt Ends: Edley's offers burnt ends, which is a bit of a rarity in town and something you don't easily find over at Jack's or Bringle's. If they're available when you order, grab them. Price-wise, Edley's isn't cheap, but it's far from overly expensive. It sits at fair market value, costing roughly what you'd pay for a comparable meal at any of the other major players in Nashville. The meats are high quality, wonderfully smoked, and packed with deep flavor. Beyond the rare burnt ends, the sauces here are what truly elevate the meal. Across the board, Edley's house sauces--from their classic red to their white sauce--are probably my personal favorites in the city. Between Jack's, Bringle's Smokin' Oasis, and Edley's, you genuinely cannot go wrong--Nashville barbecue is in great hands. But right now? Edley's holds my top spot. It is my ultimate "treat yourself" meal in town.

I had the brisket tacos, which were flavorful, though a little dry. I am giving grace here because it was takeout and possibly was much more moist prior to transport. I also had the Nashville hot link, a smoked sausage with house made spicy pimento cheese and pickled jalapeños. It was indeed pleasantly spicy. We shared some fries, which were hot, crisp, and well seasoned. They also have ribs, wings, bbq nachos and fries, fried pickles, bbq chicken and turkey, various sandwiches and platters. They also offer Nashville's staple hot chicken in platter, sandwich, and taco form. Catfish is another option, in all the same varieties. Sides: cornbread, Mac & cheese, baked beans, green beans (in bone broth and bacon). Cold sides such as bean salad, potato salad, Cole slaw. They also have a couple desserts and salads available, as well as a kids menu. Very affordable, as we got meals for 15 people for only 230 dollars.

After all, can you imagine having digestive problems while playing hockey? I love barbecue so I thought I'd try this place. I walked in and it wasn't at all busy at 5:32. However when I finished my order, the line was out the door. I asked the cashier what was good and the manager (maybe owner) walked over and I asked him. I wanted ribs or brisket, but needed a 2nd opinion. He said he would choose brisket because theirs is USDA Prime and he would put it against any other barbecue restaurant in Tennessee. Those are some bold words. So I ordered the brisket platter (fatty portion) with green beans and cinnamon baked apples. What I received was 3 good sized portions (1/2 pound) of fatty brisket. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth without an overbearing amount of fat clumped together. The bark was salty and very peppery. It was actually good enough to eat without a sauce. Speaking of, there was only one sauce on the table, so I used that. It was a sweet sauce, definitely honey-based but not overly sweet like other honey-based sauces I've had in the past. The thing is I love everything honey-related, so I would definitely buy this to take home. It was so good, I was scavenging for brisket fibers on my plate. So I praised the brisket but I think the shocker was the green beans. These were hands down, the best green beans I've ever had...ever. Salty, tender, peppery, with chunks of meat and fat, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Who would have thought that a side could be that good? Last but not least, the Cinnamon Baked Apples. I love baked/fried apples. Something about the tart and sweetness brings me back every time. The apples were soft, but not mushy. I would have liked them to be a little more tender and more slices of apples. I think there was more sauce than apples but nevertheless, they were great. Overall I'm glad I visited Honeyfire for the first time. I'm here often (near Bellevue) so I'll definitely be coming back again and again.
