    Nicest server ever!

Always can rely on this amazing fried chicken place. It's one of my favorites! I had tried it in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium when I went to see a soccer game and was glad to see that they actually had a restaurant outside of the stadium! The service was great and very attentive they do need to expand their vegetable offering, and unfortunately, the peach cobbler could not be made because their oven was down!

    Garbage

Macaroni and cheese (Trash) Baked beans (Trash) Flavorless and disgusting side and the chicken is mid at best! Items were missing in my bag once I arrived home had to go back in the rain

Food: So tasty and flavorful -- every bite was good! Service: Absolutely delightful. I decided to order a drink this time since they also have a bar, and the bartender was so friendly. She told me she wasn't going to charge me -- of course I refused... but she insisted. Let's just say I lost that argument . Such a sweet gesture! Ambiance: They match the music to the crowd, which I love. The vibe adjusts depending on who's there, making it a great spot no matter the night. Overall, the staff is pleasant and the food is consistently great. Definitely worth a try!

Never a bad time at Hattie b's. The chicken is good and hot. And the service is really good and everything is a good time. Last time I went I got the hot chicken tenders and I got them grilled and I got them fried. The grill took a little longer but I only got it as a carryout. They were really cool and gave me all the sauces that I asked for. Even some sauces to try. If you want to come to this establishment just know that they have a full bar situation so you can actually drink here as well as eat. They have a couple of TVs around so if you wanted to catch a game, which is what I did, it was also good for that too. Overall, this is a really good spot to go to if you're in the area. Aside from the parking. Keep that in mind, parking is in a small lot and if you don't get into that lot, it is not free because it's street parking for the most part. But other than that though, it's fine! I went here for a Yelp a bit and I just kept going back because of the food and the service. So despite the parking situation it was definitely worth it.

Marked down Hattie B's as a must eat while visiting Atlanta after doing research. I got the fried sandwich mild with a side of creamy red-skinned potato salad ($12). The sandwich was pretty amazing, very crispy and it wasn't too much breading and juicy inside. I prob should have gotten the sandwich medium heat tho... I did get a wing ($3.50) medium heat and it was just as amazing. I really like the crushed ice for the fountain drinks. Some reason the crushed ice hits different, could be because it was hot out. I haven't tried any other hot chicken spot down in ATL but I would highly recommend Hattie B's if you want delicious hot chicken. * Parking on premise * Indoor dining * Lines go by quick

I've been a huge Hattie B fan since they came to ATL with their fire breathing yard bird. I've been to both locations but this one is the closest to me so they get a location star. Parking is a challenge here but it appears some of the cars are Door Dashers so give it 5 minutes before choosing the pay lot across the street; $5/hour minimum. We ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich (medium heat) with slaw. If you are a medium spicy person, go with mild. Too damn hot for us babies. This chicken sammy is the best i The new salad was spectacular! I've never had a bad side from here and the fries are top notch. We have over-the-top friendly service from the bar tender. I can't remember his name but he was working on Halloween.

This Hattie b's location is one of my favorite places to go to minus the parking . The food here is on point , we order a half dark meat chicken and spicy chicken sandwich along with two banana pudding ,some coleslaw and fries. The half chicken was juicy and had a great rub on it and the chicken sandwich was so juicy but had a nice flaky crisp to it . Don't forget your comeback sauce . Highly recommend for chicken lovers !

The chicken was fresh, crispy, and a perfect size, but it needed more seasoning to really take it there. The cheese and chive grits were phenomenal and stole the show. The greens were not good at all. I'd come back for the grits for sure.

The service rendered was exceptional! Alan Miller Jr (General Manager) greeted us with a pleasant and friendly smile. The wings were everything! I ordered mild while my daughter ordered medium. So I was able to try them both! My next visit, I will try the hot! As my side, I tried the bacon grits! Very good, nicely seasoned.. The ambiance was perfect! It was a beautiful day so we ate outside as the weather was perfect!! I would definitely come again and again! The wait time was minimal! I appreciated the food, service and exceptional customer service! Kudos to you guys!

This is the side that I received when I asked for a box. No manners

Upon walking in immediately, I told the vibes were different. I have a feeling it's under new management. I have excellent service at the register, a great explanation of the change in menu and the delivery of my food. I've always loved Teddy bees from my first time in Nashville. Am I shut? The clock is still as hot as I like it. I'll be back.

I've been deep in a Chicken Tender / Hot Chicken phase lately, and so far--Hattie B's is the clear winner! Everything was served fresh, actually spicy (in the best way), and they offer a great selection of sides and sauces to complement the heat. Honestly, I have no idea how Dave's Hot Chicken landed a $1B deal--compared to Hattie B's, it's just not in the same league. I ordered a bit of everything: a bone-in leg and thigh (medium) with greens, the hot chicken sandwich with fries, three medium tenders with mac & cheese and slaw, plus a side of grits. Every single item was on point! I'm already planning to go back this weekend to try the waffle. The restaurant itself is also a whole vibe. It's super clean and nicely decorated, the AC is on blast (which is clutch during the Atlanta heat), and they have a covered balcony bar with open seating that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying your food. Definitely somewhere you can hang out and take your time. Presentation was on point, and the flavor of the food still has me thinking about it. The menu is solid and well thought-out, with something for everyone. Only downside? The parking. I paid $6.50 before realizing I could've just gotten a validation. I panicked because, let's be real--in Atlanta, parking enforcement is always lurking. Also, the associate recommended American cheese on the sandwich; I think I would've preferred pimento, but that's just personal preference. Overall? 5/5. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to.

Hattie B's is ! It's my absolute favorite fast food chicken. Their fried chicken sandwich with mild spice is so freakin' good! I was a huge fan of the fries, until I had their grits... O.M.G.! Their signature sauce is fine but I recommend getting a little side of beer cheese to put on your sandwich. The service is always amazing. It's a fun vibe inside. They also have a bar--I was eyeing up the popcorn machine-- and outdoor patio area. Parking is rough, but it's still worth it!!

    Outside patio seating.
    Liselle B.

Being a lover of fried chicken, this location was very convenient for me, and when you walk in it is bright, clean, and quite large. There is a main dining room area, a small bar in the back, and even an outdoor patio with additional seating. After perusing the menu, I ordered the Half Bird with all dark meat (1 Hot and 1 Medium heat level), 2 Jumbo Wings (1 Hot and 1 Medium heat level), Pimento Mac & Cheese, and Southern Greens. The chicken was served hot, fresh, and perfectly fried. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, but the medium heat level wasn't that spicy to me so next time I would only choose "Hot" or maybe even try going a level up to "Damn Hot". The Pimento Mac & Cheese was good, but the Southern Greens lacked the flavorful potlikker I've grown accustomed to expecting with a good set of greens. Even though I placed my order to go, the staff behind the counter were very patient, friendly, and provided excellent service during my interactions with them. Overall, this was a great experience and I would not hesitate to return.

It is right next to a university campus so the crowd reflects that, and it is overall very hood-adjacent in its operation. But I was craving a burger and fries and my go-to spot had just closed their kitchen. Sooo I begrudgingly walked over here for proximity's sake. All I can say after eating the food is hmmmmm. Let's just list some stuff out and see where we land. 1) AMBIENCE: I came in on a Friday night around 10:30PM and there were a mere handful of people in here... hmmm. It was hot and humid and a breeding ground for big ass gnats that kept landing on me. Yikeeeees. Greasy, greasy, greasy. The air was thick with it and the floors were very slick. The ceiling fans had a substantial layer of dust. I literally did not want to sit down out of fear of sticking to something. It has the bells and whistles of your typical new age, ATL black-owned restaurant: the faux grass walls and fixtures, neon-lit slogans everywhere, everything served in to-go boxes and plastic (except for beer apparently)... it was clearly nicely renovated at some point but a serious maintenance/cleaning schedule is clearly nonexistent. But I'm assuming they rely on takeout and don't find that part significant. 2) SERVICE: Everything is self-serve except for their bar. The food took 20+ minutes which is wild given that it's all fast food. Hmmmmmmm. Staff interactions were a little awkward but I wasn't looking forward to outstanding service anyways. Perks: open late. 3) FOOD: They have corona and modelo on draft as well as an assortment of alcohol that can be added to their other beverages. I think I saw something about a Happy Hour, too. I'd avoid their tap based on the gnats... I can't even imagine what their line looks like given the lack of cleanliness (this is coming from a former bartender). This is staunchly a fast food spot. Everything is fried. They have fried oreos, fried fish, wings obviously. They also sell Kool-Aid (people still drink that in 2026???) for $3 which is seriously laughable if you know the price per packet... but hey maybe it's for that good ole nostalgia. Like I said before, this is a hood establishment. The burger I got was undeniably garbage. Nice price though ($10 if ordered in-store), but seriously nasty. The "beef" patty had that chemical, artificial taste. The fries (spelled Friez on the menu... LOL) had a suffocating amount of obnoxious seasoning salt on them. Probably to mask the taste of the old grease they used that was still very apparent. They were all stumpy as well, so clearly I was given the bottom of the bag. I would NEVAAA subject myself to this meal again, IDC how strong the craving might be and how convenient this location is. The husband enjoyed his garlic lemon pepper wings. He paid about $13 for 10 (after removing fries as a side). He agreed the fries were horrible and was very happy he removed them from his meal. They do have hella wing flavors. Just don't expect this food to be good for you in any way, shape, or form. Guilty eating only. I'd come back here to get wings for my guy. That's it.

It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. I ordered takeout, so I can't speak about the dine-in experience here. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for.
