Incredible experience! The manager, Kevin was absolutely amazing, he was so nice and helped us order as this was our first time. He had such an amazing personality and was so kind. The food is terrific, you definitely get the heat you ask for. My husband got the "Damn Hot" tenders and they are exactly as claimed,lol. I got the medium dirty bird mac, it was the perfect mix of heat and flavor and the flavor was amazing! John was the BEST bartender! He was so kind and made me the perfect mango margarita as he was out of watermelon & he was also kind enough to bring around my table free DELICIOUS shots for my birthday. 100/10 will definitely be back here. I door dashed Hattie B's twice in one week. It was just THAT GOOD! The food is to die for honestly. The sides are the best sides I've ever had that paired so perfectly with both the fried leg quarters and the fried chicken sandwich. The banana pudding was also really good. Everything was delicious BOTH times that I ordered. I can't speak on the service or ambiance because I haven't been to the physical location but 10/10 on the food for sure! This place was really good. The Nashville hot chicken was amazing. The fries were nice and crinkly with a good crunch. The baked beans were not so good. To be honest, I was a little disappointed, but they were still edible. In terms of service, they did a good job. The food took a few minutes longer than expected but the staff apologized profusely once I got my food. I've been at other places where I've waited way longer and they don't even care and don't apologize at all. So kudos to them. Went here recently with my brother who was visiting from out of town and he was really impressed with the juiciness of the chicken. It was absolutely divine. Plus the potato salad is by far the best side to get here - features a plentiful amount of bacon bits, which are properly balanced with the parsley. I've had Hattie B's several times in Little 5 Points and in Nashville, and it's one of my favorite fried chicken spots! I had no idea the chicken joint was also in West Midtown! So, right after The Painted Duck, we walked for less than 5 minutes to dine here. I got my usual Hot heat level Fried Chicken, Baked Beans, and Red Skin Potato Salad; everything arrived in less than 15 minutes! Unfortunately, the chicken's taste and texture was a bit off. Hattie B's is such a great fried chicken restaurant! The portions are big for a great price, and the food comes out fresh and hot. The service is very fast, and the place is very clean. I don't remember what spice level I had, but I think it was medium. I do wish I had tried the hot spice level for an extra kick. The meal came with two sides: pimento mac and cheese (very runny but nice flavor) and crinkle fries (good seasoning but not crispy). I came here after getting my nails done. I can't remember exactly what I ordered but the pimento Mac and cheese was on point! The food was fresh and hot literally!! Parking is very limited at this location but they do have a parking garage right across the street. The line to order was very busy when we went but we were able order in a decent amount of time. We sat and waited for them to bring our food to us. I ordered the medium and someone else I came with ordered their tenders hot. There is quite the difference in the heat levels between the two. Not sure if it is usually like that but they were pretty extreme differences. They have plenty of seating the location as well in and outside. We came here on a Saturday afternoon at a late lunch time. They have a really small parking lot, but there is street parking and a garage across the street. The inside was not that full and they had TVs going. There was no line and we ordered at the counter. We got the tenders. After we got our number, we surveyed the large indoor seating area. It was nice out so we sat outside in their small outdoor patio. They had bar seating out here as well and cornhole. Part of it was turf covered and the other concrete. Our table had an umbrella as the sunlight was directly on the patio, so that was nice. The food was good as usual! The spice really is really spicy so be careful what you order. A mild here, is easily a medium or even spicy at other places. read more

As a fried chicken fanatic, I had to give Hattie Bs a shot. I'll never be in Nashville anytime soon, so I gave it a shot when in Atlanta. Good quality meat, came out fresh and juicy. I got the medium and classic. The flavor in the medium was really good, but they're plain chicken is nothing to go crazy over in the flavor department. The classic almost had a weird after taste. When comparing their classic to other places, I'd almost want to say I don't really like their chicken, so the sauce is what really makes it here. The Mac n cheese is amazing with a little bit of spice, the fries are average, and the banana pudding is the best banana pudding I've ever had. Friendly staff, clean and cool atmosphere. Overall, I like Hattie Bs, but if I had Hattie Bs near me I wouldn't go too often. It's worth a shot if you're in the area though. read more

Was really excited to try this place! Loved the red chairs and decor. Got the tender meal that came with 3 tenders and 2 sides for $12! The medium spicy had a nice kick to it but was still able to enjoy my food haha! The staff was friendly and brought the food to us at our table. I stood in line and scanned over the menu to see what I might want. So right off hand, I knew I wanted tenders. Now, sadly, one of my pet peeves did occur while standing in line,and the reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5. As I'm deciding what sides I want,I see they had collard greens. I also saw they had pimento mac n cheese. Now, wouldn't you know the customer in front of me chose to also order those very 2 things. Sadly, the guy at the counter said they were out. I just never understood how a place of business can be out of 2 major sides. I can even understand this happening if it's near closing. This, however, was around 630 in the evening. However, when I got up to order, I had made up my mind. I settled on 3 tenders medium crinkle frys and Jalapeño cheese grits. I took a seat and not too long after my food arrived. The food consisted of 3 big ole tenders. The flavor was great,not too overpowering. I honestly think on my next visit, I'll go for mild. They were still very good, though. The crinkle fries were great. They were cooked to perfection. Now the grits were great but left me a bit puzzled. I can't decide if they were a little watery or just creamy. Such a great little area around Hattie Bs. Now for the food..... ordered several things with modifications (picky kids) and they nailed every item. Not one thing was wrong or missing!! I really enjoyed my experience at Hattie B's Hot Chicken. Not only was the food filling, delicious, and reasonably priced but the customer service was truly excellent. I underestimated the heat of the chicken and ordered the Damn Hot flavor in tenders and a wing. After one bite, I immediately regretted it. Though the flavor was good the heat was too much for me to handle. The staff was kind enough to give me a milder flavor which I thoroughly enjoyed. When I get Hattie B's I usually order to-go so I was excited to try this location since this new one is much closer to me than the Atlanta East one. I ordered online. Picking up was easy since there is a separate door for pick up/to-go only. I ordered the small white plate, Southern (No Heat) since I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, with fries and Mac and Cheese for my sides. The Chicken was perfect; flavorful, crispy skin with the meat still nice and juicy. Mac and Cheese is definitely a must get, but the fries were just okay. I feel like they need more seasoning or even more time in the fryer to crisp up. Also get the Comeback sauce. It's a delicious sauce that adds a little bit of spice and tang. Honestly their Honey Mustard is pretty good too. Overall a good to-go experience, and definitely satisfies any craving for great fried chicken! read more

I had lunch at the Hattie Bs Midtown on 11/17. There was zero line when I got there so I was pleasantly surprised. Free parking was extremely limited so expect to pay a few bucks to park in the garage across the street. I had previously been the the original Hattie Bs in Nashville, and after waiting in a long line, I was honestly a little underwhelmed. That said, this experience was far far better. Maybe I had low expectations or maybe just removing the hype impacted my impressions, but regardless I was very happy with my meal. I ordered tenders (hot) with fries and baked beans. The nice lady taking my order at the counter asked if I wanted "Comeback" sauce. Having no clue what that was, of course I said "yes." Really glad I did as I enjoyed the sauce on the tenders and the fries. The baked beans were kind of smoke flavored which I liked. The crinkle fries were perfectly crispy and not too salty. The tenders were both crispy and juicy. They were a tad hot for me, so I'll get medium next time but that isn't anyone's fault but my own. The food came to my table in about 7 minutes and it was clearly fresh. I wish I lived closer to a Hattie Bs location because I would love to go back often. For dessert we tried both the banana pudding and peach cobbler. I'd recommend to skip the peach cobbler, taste like canned peaches that are warmed up. I lived in this area before they built this place and after they finished building it, and I made sure to try it. I am at the point now where I am into doing reviewsso thats why I am here. But, their food is really mid, not bad though! I will eat it every time! But I will honestly say I am not really a fan of the banana pudding, but I will eat their peach cobbler for sure. Every time I have been there I never had to wait for service from the employees! They are always on it with the service, even when I am door dashing! The Food don't get me started !! The chicken was so Juicy and seasoned I got the hottest they had and it wasn't that bad I could deal I loved the spicy !!!
