Food: So tasty and flavorful -- every bite was good! Service: Absolutely delightful. I decided to order a drink this time since they also have a bar, and the bartender was so friendly. She told me she wasn't going to charge me -- of course I refused... but she insisted. Let's just say I lost that argument . Such a sweet gesture! Ambiance: They match the music to the crowd, which I love. The vibe adjusts depending on who's there, making it a great spot no matter the night. Overall, the staff is pleasant and the food is consistently great. Definitely worth a try!

Never a bad time at Hattie b's. The chicken is good and hot. And the service is really good and everything is a good time. Last time I went I got the hot chicken tenders and I got them grilled and I got them fried. The grill took a little longer but I only got it as a carryout. They were really cool and gave me all the sauces that I asked for. Even some sauces to try. If you want to come to this establishment just know that they have a full bar situation so you can actually drink here as well as eat. They have a couple of TVs around so if you wanted to catch a game, which is what I did, it was also good for that too. Overall, this is a really good spot to go to if you're in the area. Aside from the parking. Keep that in mind, parking is in a small lot and if you don't get into that lot, it is not free because it's street parking for the most part. But other than that though, it's fine! I went here for a Yelp a bit and I just kept going back because of the food and the service. So despite the parking situation it was definitely worth it.

Marked down Hattie B's as a must eat while visiting Atlanta after doing research. I got the fried sandwich mild with a side of creamy red-skinned potato salad ($12). The sandwich was pretty amazing, very crispy and it wasn't too much breading and juicy inside. I prob should have gotten the sandwich medium heat tho... I did get a wing ($3.50) medium heat and it was just as amazing. I really like the crushed ice for the fountain drinks. Some reason the crushed ice hits different, could be because it was hot out. I haven't tried any other hot chicken spot down in ATL but I would highly recommend Hattie B's if you want delicious hot chicken. * Parking on premise * Indoor dining * Lines go by quick

The chicken was fresh, crispy, and a perfect size, but it needed more seasoning to really take it there. The cheese and chive grits were phenomenal and stole the show. The greens were not good at all. I'd come back for the grits for sure.

I've been a huge Hattie B fan since they came to ATL with their fire breathing yard bird. I've been to both locations but this one is the closest to me so they get a location star. Parking is a challenge here but it appears some of the cars are Door Dashers so give it 5 minutes before choosing the pay lot across the street; $5/hour minimum. We ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich (medium heat) with slaw. If you are a medium spicy person, go with mild. Too damn hot for us babies. This chicken sammy is the best i The new salad was spectacular! I've never had a bad side from here and the fries are top notch. We have over-the-top friendly service from the bar tender. I can't remember his name but he was working on Halloween.

This Hattie b's location is one of my favorite places to go to minus the parking . The food here is on point , we order a half dark meat chicken and spicy chicken sandwich along with two banana pudding ,some coleslaw and fries. The half chicken was juicy and had a great rub on it and the chicken sandwich was so juicy but had a nice flaky crisp to it . Don't forget your comeback sauce . Highly recommend for chicken lovers !

This is the side that I received when I asked for a box. No manners

Upon walking in immediately, I told the vibes were different. I have a feeling it's under new management. I have excellent service at the register, a great explanation of the change in menu and the delivery of my food. I've always loved Teddy bees from my first time in Nashville. Am I shut? The clock is still as hot as I like it. I'll be back.

I've been deep in a Chicken Tender / Hot Chicken phase lately, and so far--Hattie B's is the clear winner! Everything was served fresh, actually spicy (in the best way), and they offer a great selection of sides and sauces to complement the heat. Honestly, I have no idea how Dave's Hot Chicken landed a $1B deal--compared to Hattie B's, it's just not in the same league. I ordered a bit of everything: a bone-in leg and thigh (medium) with greens, the hot chicken sandwich with fries, three medium tenders with mac & cheese and slaw, plus a side of grits. Every single item was on point! I'm already planning to go back this weekend to try the waffle. The restaurant itself is also a whole vibe. It's super clean and nicely decorated, the AC is on blast (which is clutch during the Atlanta heat), and they have a covered balcony bar with open seating that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying your food. Definitely somewhere you can hang out and take your time. Presentation was on point, and the flavor of the food still has me thinking about it. The menu is solid and well thought-out, with something for everyone. Only downside? The parking. I paid $6.50 before realizing I could've just gotten a validation. I panicked because, let's be real--in Atlanta, parking enforcement is always lurking. Also, the associate recommended American cheese on the sandwich; I think I would've preferred pimento, but that's just personal preference. Overall? 5/5. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to.

Hattie B's is ! It's my absolute favorite fast food chicken. Their fried chicken sandwich with mild spice is so freakin' good! I was a huge fan of the fries, until I had their grits... O.M.G.! Their signature sauce is fine but I recommend getting a little side of beer cheese to put on your sandwich. The service is always amazing. It's a fun vibe inside. They also have a bar--I was eyeing up the popcorn machine-- and outdoor patio area. Parking is rough, but it's still worth it!!

Being a lover of fried chicken, this location was very convenient for me, and when you walk in it is bright, clean, and quite large. There is a main dining room area, a small bar in the back, and even an outdoor patio with additional seating. After perusing the menu, I ordered the Half Bird with all dark meat (1 Hot and 1 Medium heat level), 2 Jumbo Wings (1 Hot and 1 Medium heat level), Pimento Mac & Cheese, and Southern Greens. The chicken was served hot, fresh, and perfectly fried. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, but the medium heat level wasn't that spicy to me so next time I would only choose "Hot" or maybe even try going a level up to "Damn Hot". The Pimento Mac & Cheese was good, but the Southern Greens lacked the flavorful potlikker I've grown accustomed to expecting with a good set of greens. Even though I placed my order to go, the staff behind the counter were very patient, friendly, and provided excellent service during my interactions with them. Overall, this was a great experience and I would not hesitate to return.

Food great per usual . Bartenders service was amazing will be back for sure Outside seating needed to be cleaned but not too bad.

I've tried multiple hot chickens, but this was one of the best that I've done in the recent past. I'm traveling to Atlanta and have to find this place. Their burgers are amazing and their chicken is fried to perfection. The Chris the spice quality of meat was outstanding the temperature of the meat was cooked so scientifically perfect back you can't go wrong with it. You have to try their hot chicken sandwich. It has the perfect level of sweetness spicy, tender, juicy meat. Their staff is very knowledgeable and super helpful. Kept checking on us. There is a lot of parking available and there's an outside seating as well and they will bring the food out for you and they will come check on you multiple times to make sure you're doing good. what can you ask in a busy Neighbourhood a good place to eat with a great service these guys have a marvelous job in customer service inside it's pretty decent but I would prefer outside. Ambience is pretty neat. They made this place look pretty neat about how a chicken burger or chicken sandwich shop should be.

Great experience and fresh food!!! The wait was a bit long but honestly, I don't mind because the food, the food, THE FOOD was fresh and also delicious. Opted for 3 piece meal and honestly I had enough food for dinner too! The dining area was clean and well kept.

The chicken wings were just okay, but the main reason I came was because the place was open so late, making it convenient to try Atlanta's specialties. It was a limited-time experience! Sweet & Sassy Wingz: Their signature flavor. The chicken was over-fried, and the meat was a bit dry. Most importantly, it was coated in a thick layer of sauce, so sweet it was almost too sweet to eat... L. Pepper Wet Wingz: As an Atlanta specialty, this chicken wing was relatively interesting. The initial taste was an intense lemon sourness, almost making you shiver, followed by the warm spicy aroma of black pepper. If the sourness could be toned down, it would be quite good. The chicken wings were still overcooked, and because there was no sauce, the meat was even drier. But I don't know if this is a problem or part of their specialty? Season Friez: Although it was hot, it was already soggy and soft. I consoled myself, "Just grab something quick..." Side Salad: A meatless version of Caesar salad. The bread was so hard I couldn't even stick it in with a fork, but thankfully the lettuce was fairly fresh. It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. I ordered takeout, so I can't speak about the dine-in experience here. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for. Would not come back, and I would try a different spot for lemony pepper wet wings.

FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal.
