    Belgium waffles

I didn't know what to expect when I came to this place but I was pleasantly surprised. They have a small parking lot in the front and more parking in another lot/garage. The inside is clean and pretty big. They also have a couple TVs. I think I saw a fully loaded bar in the back. Restrooms are also clean. I ordered the half bird mixed at Hot level. My side were belgium waffles. I got a side of blue cheese. The chicken was hot like they just finished cooking it. The heat level made me wish that I got more than 1 sauce. The belgium waffles are thick and taste like funnel cakes. I want to return.

Food: So tasty and flavorful -- every bite was good! Service: Absolutely delightful. I decided to order a drink this time since they also have a bar, and the bartender was so friendly. She told me she wasn't going to charge me -- of course I refused... but she insisted. Let's just say I lost that argument . Such a sweet gesture! Ambiance: They match the music to the crowd, which I love. The vibe adjusts depending on who's there, making it a great spot no matter the night. Overall, the staff is pleasant and the food is consistently great. Definitely worth a try!

Never a bad time at Hattie b's. The chicken is good and hot. And the service is really good and everything is a good time. Last time I went I got the hot chicken tenders and I got them grilled and I got them fried. The grill took a little longer but I only got it as a carryout. They were really cool and gave me all the sauces that I asked for. Even some sauces to try. If you want to come to this establishment just know that they have a full bar situation so you can actually drink here as well as eat. They have a couple of TVs around so if you wanted to catch a game, which is what I did, it was also good for that too. Overall, this is a really good spot to go to if you're in the area. Aside from the parking. Keep that in mind, parking is in a small lot and if you don't get into that lot, it is not free because it's street parking for the most part. But other than that though, it's fine! I went here for a Yelp a bit and I just kept going back because of the food and the service. So despite the parking situation it was definitely worth it.

The chicken was fresh, crispy, and a perfect size, but it needed more seasoning to really take it there. The cheese and chive grits were phenomenal and stole the show. The greens were not good at all. I'd come back for the grits for sure.

Marked down Hattie B's as a must eat while visiting Atlanta after doing research. I got the fried sandwich mild with a side of creamy red-skinned potato salad ($12). The sandwich was pretty amazing, very crispy and it wasn't too much breading and juicy inside. I prob should have gotten the sandwich medium heat tho... I did get a wing ($3.50) medium heat and it was just as amazing. I really like the crushed ice for the fountain drinks. Some reason the crushed ice hits different, could be because it was hot out. I haven't tried any other hot chicken spot down in ATL but I would highly recommend Hattie B's if you want delicious hot chicken. * Parking on premise * Indoor dining * Lines go by quick

I've been a huge Hattie B fan since they came to ATL with their fire breathing yard bird. I've been to both locations but this one is the closest to me so they get a location star. Parking is a challenge here but it appears some of the cars are Door Dashers so give it 5 minutes before choosing the pay lot across the street; $5/hour minimum. We ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich (medium heat) with slaw. If you are a medium spicy person, go with mild. Too damn hot for us babies. This chicken sammy is the best i The new salad was spectacular! I've never had a bad side from here and the fries are top notch. We have over-the-top friendly service from the bar tender. I can't remember his name but he was working on Halloween.

This Hattie b's location is one of my favorite places to go to minus the parking . The food here is on point , we order a half dark meat chicken and spicy chicken sandwich along with two banana pudding ,some coleslaw and fries. The half chicken was juicy and had a great rub on it and the chicken sandwich was so juicy but had a nice flaky crisp to it . Don't forget your comeback sauce . Highly recommend for chicken lovers !

This is the side that I received when I asked for a box. No manners

Upon walking in immediately, I told the vibes were different. I have a feeling it's under new management. I have excellent service at the register, a great explanation of the change in menu and the delivery of my food. I've always loved Teddy bees from my first time in Nashville. Am I shut? The clock is still as hot as I like it. I'll be back.

Food great per usual . Bartenders service was amazing will be back for sure Outside seating needed to be cleaned but not too bad.

I've been deep in a Chicken Tender / Hot Chicken phase lately, and so far--Hattie B's is the clear winner! Everything was served fresh, actually spicy (in the best way), and they offer a great selection of sides and sauces to complement the heat. Honestly, I have no idea how Dave's Hot Chicken landed a $1B deal--compared to Hattie B's, it's just not in the same league. I ordered a bit of everything: a bone-in leg and thigh (medium) with greens, the hot chicken sandwich with fries, three medium tenders with mac & cheese and slaw, plus a side of grits. Every single item was on point! I'm already planning to go back this weekend to try the waffle. The restaurant itself is also a whole vibe. It's super clean and nicely decorated, the AC is on blast (which is clutch during the Atlanta heat), and they have a covered balcony bar with open seating that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying your food. Definitely somewhere you can hang out and take your time. Presentation was on point, and the flavor of the food still has me thinking about it. The menu is solid and well thought-out, with something for everyone. Only downside? The parking. I paid $6.50 before realizing I could've just gotten a validation. I panicked because, let's be real--in Atlanta, parking enforcement is always lurking. Also, the associate recommended American cheese on the sandwich; I think I would've preferred pimento, but that's just personal preference. Overall? 5/5. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to.

Hattie B's is ! It's my absolute favorite fast food chicken. Their fried chicken sandwich with mild spice is so freakin' good! I was a huge fan of the fries, until I had their grits... O.M.G.! Their signature sauce is fine but I recommend getting a little side of beer cheese to put on your sandwich. The service is always amazing. It's a fun vibe inside. They also have a bar--I was eyeing up the popcorn machine-- and outdoor patio area. Parking is rough, but it's still worth it!!

    Outside patio seating.

Being a lover of fried chicken, this location was very convenient for me, and when you walk in it is bright, clean, and quite large. There is a main dining room area, a small bar in the back, and even an outdoor patio with additional seating. After perusing the menu, I ordered the Half Bird with all dark meat (1 Hot and 1 Medium heat level), 2 Jumbo Wings (1 Hot and 1 Medium heat level), Pimento Mac & Cheese, and Southern Greens. The chicken was served hot, fresh, and perfectly fried. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, but the medium heat level wasn't that spicy to me so next time I would only choose "Hot" or maybe even try going a level up to "Damn Hot". The Pimento Mac & Cheese was good, but the Southern Greens lacked the flavorful potlikker I've grown accustomed to expecting with a good set of greens. Even though I placed my order to go, the staff behind the counter were very patient, friendly, and provided excellent service during my interactions with them. Overall, this was a great experience and I would not hesitate to return.

    Skylar M.

Hattie B's Hot Chicken in West Midtown Atlanta is serving real Nashville style hot chicken right here in the city and I finally went to experience the heat for myself. With 6 spice levels ranging from "Southern" to "Shut the Cluck Up," --and a Sweet & Smoky rub if you're looking for flavor without the heat-- there's something for every comfort zone. Fast and friendly service and the ambience is totally chill ! If you've been craving bold flavor, crispy chicken, loaded fries, homemade sides, and a sweet Southern finish without leaving Atlanta, this spot delivers.

The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

The interior is rather dim, and it wasn't super clean as there were still some crumbs on our table from the last people who dined there. There is also a very casual feel to the place, exemplified by the fact that food is served on styrofoam plates and paper trays. FOOD: 2-Piece Dark (Thigh & Leg) (4/5) - Chicken was nice and crispy, but nothing crazy special to me. I was expecting it to be spicier. Liked it more with the Louisiana hot sauce on the table. The person who served us was sweet when we did interact, but it was so hard to get their attention to order and get the bill. But beyond that, the kitchen was noticeably SLOW. My brother and I literally only ordered one plate/portion to share since we wanted to try more places, but it took over half an hour to receive our food. They do emphasize that food is cooked to order, but I still found the wait to be baffling. TLDR// Come here or don't, but if you do, make sure you are not on a time crunch. Maybe I am just being harsh because I was expecting more from a place claiming to have the world's best.
