House Salad with croutons, cucumber and tomato (with soup combo) -both soup and salad were inedible.
    Tiaunna G.

I've heard nothing but good things about Roasters which is why I'm a bit disappointed with my lunch experience. I'll get the good things out of the way first: the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and they filled my mobile order quickly. But the food I received made me not want to return. I ordered the soup and salad combo. Chicken and rice soup and a house salad with blue cheese dressing. The soup was ok. It did not taste fresh but more like the end of the pot. The broth was oily, the potatoes (unexpected in chicken soup) were all broken up and mushy, the chicken was dry and the ends were rubbery/crispy. I took a couple of bites and just couldn't finish it. It just tasted...old. The salad, the item I was REALLY looking forward to, had wilted lettuce and dirt was still present on most of it. I thought maybe it was just one or two pieces but nope, it was wilted all the way through. And the blue cheese dressing provided, in a pod similar to coffee creamer, had separated and was white cream on the bottom and a layer of oil on the top. Shaking it up didn't even make it better. I thought a bun or roll would have been provided with the meal as the pick-up window attendant asked me if I wanted butter. I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part but it would have been nice. Although my lunch was reasonable priced for the Buckhead area at around $13...I couldn't eat it. I may return in the future and try something they specialize in like rotisserie or chicken tenders but if you can't provide a basic soup/salad combo you should probably just remove it from the menu.

    Peach cobbler

This place is in a strip mall/shopping center. The parking lot is pretty small but I am usually able to find a parking spot. I ordered this food to go. Staff was very nice and friendly. Took less than 10 minutes for me to get my food. I got the 1/4 white rotisserie chicken, meatloaf, with broccoli casserole and mac. I also got an order of peach cobbler with roll and cornbread. This was way too much food to eat in one sitting so I tried a sampling of everything while it was hot. They gave the peach cobbler cold but offered to heat it up for me. The chicken tasted great and the bbq made it even better. Meatloaf doesn't look good but it tastes pretty good and the bbq sauce gives it a kick as well. The broccoli casserole is my favorite side with plenty of cheese. The mac is decent but not my favorite. The peach cobbler is also decent. I put the cornbread over the roll.

    White Chicken Chili

I loved roasters. The food they have is solid comfort food that may put you to sleep lol. I had the white chicken chili (super filling), ribs, chicken tenders, loaded potato, and bread. Now it may sound odd to say bread...but they have these muffins without panties (that paper that muffins come in usually) and biscuits that are damn everything! The service was good. The last time that I went, we sat outside and they had a leak that was leaking on our table. Trying to convey what was happening to the manager was a little bit pointless because he kept looking at the pipe instead of moving our table, so we moved ourselves. But the waitstaff was super friendly and understanding, even when we had to shift seats all together. I wont take off for the whole pipe thing though, it can happen to anyone. The muffins and biscuits, they are not free like other restaurants, but they are so worth it. They come out warm and the butter spreads so easily, we ordered a few baskets of those (which probably led to us getting full lol). The chili I ordered I thought was going to be a small bowl, nope! It was huge and was probably the reason that I didnt finish my food! But thats okay. The Ribs were pretty flavorful and the chicken tenders were really good with that honey mustard. The potato needed extra sour cream but once I got that, it got devoured too. I want to try something else but I would have no issue getting what I got last time all over again. This spot is not the best food in the world but if you want good and solid comfort food, this one hits for me every time. Depending on what time of day you go, you will have to fight for parking though so just be aware of that (the brunch spot across the parking lot has a lot of traffic). This is a winner to me.

Side of chicken fingers, and the famous, slow-roasted rotisserie chicken (1/2 mix "Murph's Favorite" w cole slaw and sweet potato soufflé)
    Alyanna T.

My partner and I ordered the famous, slow-roasted rotisserie chicken (1/2 mix "Murph's Favorite" w cole slaw and sweet potato soufflé), BBQ baby back ribs (w cornbread stuffing and mac & cheese), and a side of chicken fingers - TASTE: 4/5 - the rotisserie chicken was alright, nothing crazy; the dark meat (and skin!) was definitely tastier than the white. The baby back ribs were nice, along w the complimentary cornbread. Fave sides included the seasoned cole slaw and sweet potato soufflé TEXTURE: 4/5 - highlight was definitely the chicken fingers! The breading was great, and the way it was fried was perfection PRICE: 4/5 - prices aren't bad for BBQ SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - good dinner portions, and took some leftovers home SERVICE: 4/5 - we arrived at 5pm on a Sunday and Roasters wasn't busy yet. Our waiter was helpful and patient w the menu and our order ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - low-key, country-style space PARKING: 5/5 - we found parking toward the back of Lenox Village plaza

So I finally tried Roasters and have to say it's pretty damn good home cooked meals. When I have my lazy days but want something good I usually lean towards Boston Market style food. Not sure what Boston Market is doing but they have butchered their menu even more regarding sides and now I've discovered Roasters because of it. For about 20-$30 you can get a menu of appetizers to choose from, 2 entrees and 2 sides with a soup. The day I ordered I opted for a spinach dip, chicken and rice soup, an order of tenders and a qtr chicken with mashed potatoes and spinach. The food was healthy, filling and delicious! This is my new spot for quick wholesome meals. The tenders are probably some of the best I've had and aren't covered in a thick crunchy batter. They have a batter but offer more chicken and not overly salted. The dipping sauces that come with them are delicious as well.

Chicken Plate 2 VEG : bbq sauce, steamed broccoli & loaded baked potato
    Kyja W.

I was craving a baked potato tonight and decided to search for restaurants nearby that would get the job done. I selected the "chicken plate 2 veg" with homemade bbq, loaded baked potato, and steamed broccoli from Roasters, via UberEats. With that said, I obviously can't speak on ambiance, but service seemed to pack my order up pretty quick which was great. Upon arrival, I was pleased with how nicely it was packaged, and the food looked appetizing. As for the food, which is the main reason you're reading the reviews, I'm sure, read on... The steamed broccoli tasted up to standard, but to my preference, could've been steamed just a tad longer. The loaded baked potato satisfied my craving. I squeezed the sour cream in it and mixed it all up. The bacon bits, green onion, and cheese added great flavor to the potato. I only wish that it was even more loaded. The toppings were a bit sparse and could've definitely used more, especially for a potato of this size. Sadly, the chicken was my least favorite item in the bunch. One bite I took had either a tendon or a small bone in it. It freaked me out, so I spit it out and didn't investigate further. From then on, I was careful with my bites. Unfortunately, the meat itself tasted completely seasonless. If it wasn't for the average quality bbq sauce that I smothered extra of on top of it, I probably wouldn't have eaten it. Overall, my meal was just okay. If I'm in the mood for a baked potato again (which is hardly ever, for me, as I usually crave potato in other forms such as tater tots, hash browns, mashed, French fries, etc.), I'd consider ordering from here again. Otherwise, I probably won't, if I'm being honest. Perhaps I just made the wrong protein choice. The chicken tenders looked good, so I may give it another chance and try those. We'll see!

Update-Took my wife here again still great food!Service! and ambiance. I had turkey and dressing with sweet potato soufflé and broccoli-cauliflower casserole. Very good! Bread was hot and filling.

Pulled pork, half rack of 1/2 Rack BBQ Ribs & sides
    Kevin W.

The ribs were really tender and fell off the bone but the meat itself lacked a bit of seasoning. Just felt mostly like a rack of ribs smothered in barbecue sauce you'd get from the store. Pulled pork was okay, a bit too sweet but not that bad. Sides were very decent as well. Service was quick and staff was very friendly & nice. Probably would not go back here again as I'm sure there are better barbecue spots in the area.

Was on a date with my boyfriend and had reservations for another nearby restaurant before we were scheduled to go to the Georgia Aquarium. We waited over half an hour for the other restaurant and still were not sat down yet. After deliberating, we decided to go to roasters which was within the same plaza. When we walked in it smelled absolutely delicious. We were then immediately sat down to order. Our waitress greeted us as she approached us with water. She took our drink orders and once delivered she took our food order. I ordered some wine and my date a beer. Drinks were good. No cocktails, just your standard beer and wine, which were enjoyed. We both ordered the combo plate and selected the roasted chicken, ribs, creamed spinach and Mac n cheese. All the food was tasty, fresh and served hot. Our waitress Dulce was great she was quick and through. She made sure she checked on us regularly and gave menu suggestions as needed. Overall a great experience. I'll be sure to return one day.

I love fried chicken (who doesn't?) but typically find other breading to be bland and oily and I usually pull it off to get to the juicy meat...but not at Delilah's. It was the perfect combination of crunchy and flavorful and I was sure to gobble up any small bit that fell on my plate. The collard greens are also incredible. Not too salty not too saturated. Just perfect. I think I'm going to order a take home portion for holiday dinners at home because I can't make them better than this! The service and personal experience was off the charts and exactly what southern hospitality is all about. I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q…read more Fox Bros. has that hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint feel, but with plenty of space to hang out. There's a bar along with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the overall atmosphere is casual and laid-back. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations, which definitely added to the experience. We went with the three-meat sampler and chose the brisket, ribs, and jalapeño cheddar sausage, with tots and the Fox-a-Roni for our sides. The Fox-a-Roni--a combination of their Brunswick stew and mac & cheese--was absolutely delicious and easily one of the most memorable sides I've had at a BBQ restaurant. The brisket was honestly some of the best brisket I've ever had. It was tender, flavorful, and easily my favorite of the three meats. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was also really good, and while the ribs tasted great, ours were pretty small and didn't have a ton of meat on them. My only real complaint was the portioning of the sampler. We were told that as you choose a larger variety of meats, you essentially receive smaller portions of each. I understand the idea of a sampler, but we literally received one slice of brisket and two-three fairly small ribs, so the portion-to-variety concept didn't make a ton of sense to me. I would've preferred slightly more substantial portions, especially considering how good the brisket was! I also ordered a cocktail, but unfortunately it wasn't really for me. It came across very sweet and mostly juice, although I think that may have been more about the particular drink I chose than the bar itself. Overall, the food absolutely delivered. Between the incredible brisket, Fox-a-Roni, friendly service, and laid-back BBQ atmosphere, Fox Bros. was definitely worth the stop. I'd happily come back--I'd just skip the 3 meat sampler next time and order more of that brisket!
