We went here for brunch on a Saturday and was sat immediately. We ordered the brunch burger and chorizo hash as well as some beers. Everything was delicious.

Came here on a busy warm winter Friday with a team for lunch, and yeah... parking was a bit of a scavenger hunt. That part aside, solid experience all around. I went with the burger (Juicy, cooked to perfection) and swapped the fries for a salad and honestly, no regrets. It was very, very good. Fresh, flavorful, and didn't leave me feeling like I needed a nap. Everyone at the table seemed happy with their picks too...lots of to-go boxes, which is always a good sign. The inside was calm and welcoming, nice atmosphere, good selection on the menu, and the service was on point from start to finish. Would definitely come back. Just plan a little extra time for parking if you're rolling in with a group on a busy day or weekend.

Still one of my favorites in the neighborhood. I do miss the lamb burger from pre pandemic era. Attentive staff, easy to get a table for lunch. Interiora haven't changed much but they are still holding upl. The banquet along the window need pillows on the back to make them more comfy.

This is a local spot in Old Town Orange Circle! Seems to be quaint for a chill date night, catching up with friends etc with friendly and attentive service. Never usually a wait and they also have a late night food+drinks menu after 9pm. Food: 6.7/10 Black truffle Mac and Cheese- surprisingly the one dish that we ordered I'd think needed more flavor. Grilled Spanish Octopus- the eggplant puree with caponata was enjoyable, the octopus itself was way too salty but was cooked to the perfect tenderness French onion soup- there was nothing special about it, flavors seemed surface level with a lot of saltiness Deviled eggs- no notes for these! Me and my table enjoyed them!

I took a walk on Tuesday night, after leaving the Elks lodge. Contra Coffee was jammed packed and I was looking for a spot to relax and study. I saw that Haven was fairly peaceful that night and walked inside. I was offered the bar section and Matt served me. He was a consummate professional and experienced in fine dining. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and service. He knew the menu very well and made great recommendations. It's rare to experience good service nowadays, so I appreciate the times that I do. Because I was stuffed, I missed having dessert. Matt mentioned that Haven is also a creamery and their ice creams are top notch. I will return soon, so I can experience their homemade ice cream. See you soon.

Walking around the orange city square me and my cousin decided to come in food and drinks on a late Sunday afternoon. It wasn't super packed and we got to sit near the window and people watch lol. Our server was very friendly and gave us some suggestions on what to order. We each ordered the Haven whiskey sour and it was delicious!! For food I got the OG haven burger and she got the Italian beef sandwich. We cut each one in half and shared so we could taste each others. We agreed that we loved the burger but the Italian beef sandwich was not that great. The meat tasted like it had been frozen and it just permeated throughout the sandwich which we couldn't get past. The peppers on top were good though. We also enjoyed the fries as well. I would definitely come back and see what else is good and come back for that whiskey sour as well!!

A friend took me for birthday dinner. Plenty of meter parking available or you can also find a spot on the residential streets. We were seated immediately even without reservations. Place is pretty loud. Whiskey sour great! Crispy Brussel sprouts, delicious!! Short rib pasta was good. I'd love to come back and try other things off the menu like the cornbread I saw everyone ordering. The Brussel sprouts are a must!

I have never had a bad thing on this menu. Priced fairly for the quality for sure. Dark moody ambience with great knowledgeable staff. The bartender Ashley made my most recent trip extra special!

Haven Craft Kitchen was not too shabby at all. There is a new church called Grace that just opened a block away and honestly this spot is perfectly placed for church goers to grab some brunch afterwards. The food was tasty and satisfying, not necessarily the kind that blows your mind, but definitely solid enough that I would bring some friends here for a relaxed meal. The vibe is great too, cozy and welcoming, and it would be a perfect place to have live music playing in the background. Service was kind and attentive which made the experience even better. Overall it is a chill and enjoyable spot that feels right for a Sunday brunch after church or just catching up with friends over good food!!!

We walked in without reservations on a Sat night and were able to get one of the window seats for 2. It took a long time to get water or our orders in but once we did the food came out in record time! All the food was great! We got the risotto arincini which was perfect - crunchy on the outside and flavorful with plenty of sauce. We also got the burrata which came with a large chunk and some arugula, pine nuts, and toast - proportioned perfectly with the burrata. Lastly, we got the pappardelle pesto pasta which had a delicious sundried tomato pesto. The pasta itself was a little too al dente for our taste but delicious otherwise. When I reheated it later it became even crunchier, so I'd say try not to have leftovers of it. All in all, it was a perfect amount of food and was delicious! Parked on the street right behind the restaurant but there was a public lot nearby as well.

A very nice place; we were a party of nine and they were able to seat us immediately. The drinks were all very good. I had a Sazerac. It was very good. The pour seemed a little scarce but the taste was splendid. Our entire party enjoyed their drinks. The service was wonderful. The hostess was nice. The waiter was very nice, too. Sure, we would definitely come back again

We have come back for drinks and brunch after visiting this place years ago. The menus are different and I liked them. The brunch experience was great. They have great selections of beers and ciders which I liked a lot. For brunch food we had chai tea, cane cola, chicken fried steak & eggs and Mary's chicken sandwich. The food was delicious in large portions and very reasonably priced. The service was a bit slow but very friendly. They had live music in the patio. We'd come back for brunch again!

When making reservations a $25 deposit is required per person but will be applied to your bill day of visit. The hostess was very kind upon check in and took us to the back where the 46 door is. She provided us a code and explained the time limit along with house rules. We were then told to knock on the door and proceed with the experience. Kudos to the owner as this is the only speakeasy in the OC that has a true speakeasy feel entrance. They had a gentleman open the peephole and ask for the entry code. Once we said the code we entered a really cool mine shaft area. The attention to detail was on point and I was impressed! We were then taken upstairs to a private bar where there are four tables of four so a max of 16. This makes sense as to why reservations are hard to come by. The only ding about seating is you are sat with strangers it is not a private table. Luckily we had a fun older couple at our table so it made the conversation more lively. Otherwise don't go here with an expectation of an intimate/ private date night. They also offer a limited food menu but looked very promising. However, we were here for a night cap so just dabbled in drinks. The bartender had a seasonal menu of 4 cocktails he created. He explained the drinks and then had us try each one with a straw. We then placed our order based on what we liked. He did say if we were not a fan he could create us our own personal cocktail as well. The old fashion he created was phenomenal! Overall, a cool little spot in the OC. Do wish they were open later as they do close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

The restaurant was dark and stylish, and I immediately liked the vibe. Even though it was crowded for a Thursday night, we were seated within 15 minutes. We each picked a shareable dish to split. Predictably, my daughter chose the mac and cheese. I rolled my eyes -- it's so her -- but it turned out to be the best of the four. Maybe it was the velvety cheese sauce or the golden cracker crust that made it so irresistible, but that mac and cheese was, as she'd say, absolutely bussin'. The next standout was the maple-buttered Brussels sprouts, my man's pick. If all vegetables tasted this good, I'd eat them every day. Candied pecans, maple butter, blue cheese -- how could that not be amazing? Was it healthy? Sus, but definitely worth it. I picked the pig candy for the group, which was outrageously sweet and candy-like. Clearly, this wasn't healthy -- bacon, sugar, and rye whiskey caramel make a trifecta of indulgence. But it was so delicious, I couldn't complain. The sliders were the last shareable we tried. They were fine but didn't stand out -- the meat was a bit dry. I also ordered a cocktail (something pretty and fruity, though I can't remember the name). The bartender nailed it, delivering a delicious drink. My man enjoyed his Negroni. The service was great, and I loved the grassy area with fire pits for hanging out. Excellent place for our first night out in Irvine!

From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. Not sure if reservations are required, but this speakeasy is pretty tiny so I can't imagine it can accommodate walk ins. We had a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night. The door is very well hidden, I thought it'd be in a basement around the corner or something. The space is really small, so big groups are not advised. I had the niña fresa, a strawberries and creme type drink. Delicious! If you like sweet drinks, otherwise do not get it. I had the Saturn afterwards. Still a little sweet, but mostly sour. The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.

Overall another wonderful visit to my favorite tiki bar. Josh and Iris were fantastic servers. We briefly spoke with Ying, who is a wonderful owner. All-in-all love this place!

The best part of Strong Water is the immersive experience you feel sitting inside. We sat in the Captain's quarters which was an intimate spot for great conversation. Our waiter was very friendly and gave plenty of options. We opted for the Crispy Tuna Appetizer which unfortunately was not good at all. The tuna and toppings were okay but the crispy rice tasted like fried fair food almost with the texture of a rice cake. Hopefully, their other dishes are better. For drinks, the waiter helped select the Banana Batida for me which was very lovely! I love how customized the recommendations were. My partner ordered a rum drink which he enjoyed as well. We finished off with a brownie dessert. I really enjoyed the passion fruit puree and kiwi topping. The brownie tasted good but was very dense which isn't my preference. Overall, would recommend. Prioritize the drinks over the food in my opinion
