I've been seeing many TikTok's raving about Chicken Salad Chick and I've been driving past this place for years. I spent $52 for lunch for 3 people and this is what I ordered: 2 scoop meal w/ Lauryn's lemon basil & Classic Carol with broccoli salad and grape salad 1 Buffalo Barclay sandwich with mac n cheese 1 Bacon Cheddar Melt sandwich w/ southern pimento cheese with Mac b cheese 1 Maui Mama sandwich We all liked everything ordered. The lemon basil is hands down the best flavor out of them all. The bright lemon and distinct basil flavors pair soooo well. The Maui Mama has a nice kick to it and I liked the occasional sweetness from the pineapple. It was a bit too salty for me, though. The Classic Carol didn't have much flavor. I would have liked more celery for a little crunch. But not bad for a basic chicken salad. I will definitely be back to try other flavors! read more

Busy place! Very friendly and the chicken salads come in various kinds, with fruit or nuts . Bacon etc. broccoli salad side is especially good. Fruit was fresh. We left full but not stuffed which is great. We both got the double scoop two sides with two different chicken salads. You get good club crackers and a free frosted butter cookie too. Of course it was full of ladies but a few other guys were in there. We'd def go again. This was our first time. Ty said he liked the salads because they were not drenched in mayo or dressing. My husband and I used to eat here a lot. Last time we went we got horrible food poisoning. Have not been able to return due to the constant nausea and diarrhea this place gave us. I have been wanting to try Chicken Salad Chick for literally years, but my wife hates mayonnaise. While she was at work one day and I was working from home, I ordered a small tub of chicken salad for pickup. As soon as I walked up to the To Go counter, a friendly woman asked for my name and handed my order to me. I was in and out in a couple minutes, max. Once I got home, I made a sandwich, adding only fresh cracked black pepper. It was awesome. I thinkChicken Salad Chick's tubs will be making regular appearances in our refrigerator, going forward! Just for clarity this review is tricky...... the food is tasty, the sandwiches are solid and the extra scoop option is a great option and to top that off they serve Coke products. This review is service and the ambiance and the general feel of the staff and location. On the point of location, I have eaten there twice and after the second visit is this review........... You walk in and it's silent, few customers, no music and no greeting. Ordering is typical but the people are not, very dry and I don't throw this word around very often but the feel of a "racism" is heavy from the staff to the horrible portrait of all the woman of the family. Look this may not be the case in the company but that feeling is strong and I'm not sensitive but this is literally the place that makes me feel this way and I can not name another place at least in the last 20 years that made me feel this way. I'm reviewing CSC again after a disappointing experience at the drive thru many months ago. This time, I ordered ahead online for a specific time and picked my order up at the restaurant. The order was ready at the appointed time, and everything was packed with care. The order included original chicken salad on a croissant, and two additional scoops of other varieties of chicken salad: Lauryn's Lemon Basil and Olivia's Old South style. All three were fresh, tasty, and delicious. On the side, I got a serving of Grape Salad that had a dressing of cream cheese and sour cream and topped with brown sugar and chopped pecans. Yummy! Always included is a dill pickle spear and a tiny soft iced sugar cookie. I also ordered additional slices of bread and some chocolate marshmallow treats. All of the food tasted good - the flavors of the different chicken salad varieties are tasty, and there's something to suit every taste. I'm amending my review from 3 to 5 stars based on ordering ahead and picking up. Because the restaurant is always so crowded during lunch, I highly recommend the order ahead function. read more

They have a ton of creative options! I didn't know there could be so many kinds of chicken salad. Portions are healthy too, and am impressed that the meals come with a substantial side (like soup or Mac and cheese), as well as a pickle spear and a small cookie. I also liked they had regular and strawberry lemonade, and unsweetened tea and watermelon tea. I always go for one of the spicy flavors. So walking in I have to admit... I don't think I've ever had chicken salad before. I feel like I've just avoided it cause I didn't like macaroni salad or potato salad growing up. Today I was looking for something to do for lunch and had decided on something else; but saw on FB this location had a one day $5 anniversary deal on a "Scoop or Sandwich" meal that came with a side & a cookie. Looked up their menu, and cause I've been trying to try things I didn't like as a kid again to see if I changed my mind I figured this was the best time to give it a chance. I came in expecting to try a turkey sandwich and get a scoop of the chicken salad as a side. That way if I stop didn't like it I still could finish the sandwich. Apparently the deal was for the scoop as the main or as a chicken salad scoop as a sandwich. So I went ahead and tried it as a sandwich and went with a chicken tortilla soup, again if I didn't like the chicken salad I could eat the soup. Well I didn't like the chicken salad, is it always supposed to taste so bland? Taste like your just eating gloopy Mayo? I'm going to stay with that I'm not a fan. Hopefully with how busy they had been that day I will lean into that at least it wasn't a bad chicken salad ... but not enough flavors for my palate. The chicken tortilla soup was good; not the best but good enough for something that I would consider similar to a sandwich places chicken tortilla soup vs something from a Mexican restaurant. I ended up taking 3/4 of my sandwich Togo and dropped it off to my husband at work. He didn't care for it either but is a bit of a human garbage disposal, so as long as it wasn't completely inedible he'll finish something. I will say staff deserves 5 stars, all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You order at the counter, & get your own drink. They bring your food to you at your table and at least when I was there you clear your own table. I saw a mix of having to go to the counter for a Togo box, which I did, and others just asking for one from an employee walking by. If your a chicken salad fan, give it a shot. I think I'll only be back if I have a friend or family member dead set on going but I'll get the turkey sandwich with a non-chicken salad side if I find myself here again. read more

Let me tell you something if you are a spice + pimento fan the first thing you need to order is that yummy spicy pimento salad! It truly will rock your world. So will that little soft cookie with the buttercream icing they added for dessert. Nice touch I must say! Also for some reason that crisp, fresh pickle spear hit the spot. Ya know I really did not realize there were so many different types of chicken salads to be had! Forget what you even know about chicken salad in general! Was dining by myself. Got up to fill my drink and saw employee put dirty dishes on my table. As I was walking back to table. she picked up the dirty dishes and put them on my food and walked to trash. When I told her I was getting a drink and wanted to finish she said there was no food on my plate. When I told her there was, she argued with me. I went to counter to ask for manager and the same employee came up behind me and said she was the manager. She tried to give me some food at that point but I was pretty upset and just left. read more

The grapes were visible but were few and far between, the nuts were no where to be found! Are they crushed up first? Needs chunks of pecan and same for apples. The atmosphere in Chicken Salad Chick seems to be targeted for someone other than a craft beer and burger foodie like myself. But my brother wanted to try it. We both went with the Classic chicken salad. I'm being Keto atm, so I went for the scoop instead of the sandwich. For $7.90 you can have a scoop and a side (enjoy a self-serve fountain drink for an extra $1.99). And when they say "scoop" they mean one lonely ice cream scoop of chicken salad on a piece of lettuce. Never has a plate looked more bare than this plate. I asked for a salad as my side which, after a confusing conversation with the check out girl, apparently costs more than the sides that are included with The Chick deal for $7.90. I asked them to give me a salad with no sweet stuff on it. Out came one with apples, strawberries and raisins. I took it back and asked to exchange for one with only veggies on it, explaining I'm avoiding carbs. The replacement salad had tomatoes, cucumbers and raisins. Sheesh. I picked around the raisins but the salad was very small. $9.63 for a small salad to pick through and a scoop of chicken salad with water. Not my vibe. Disappointed in our visit today. Meal wasn't fresh at all. Read was a bit stale and it appeared that the sandwich was made far in advanced. When attempting to get a soda the machine wasn't mixing the syrups well. When I brought this to the attention of one of the staff members they said "yeah, until the owner fixes the water it will be that way". Huh? Ok, sooo let's keep wasting syrup, makes sense. Another thing I love here is the grape salad which is grapes, topped with a sweet yogurt and brown sugar. It is perfect for my sweet tooth. Been wanting to visit this spot for over a year and I am so glad that I did! I ordered their signature turkey sandwich and a scoop of the Fancy Nancy to go. It came out to me super fast! I so wish that I would've gotten the Fancy Nancy as my sandwich as it was absolutely delicious. I wanted to keep devouring every single bite of the creamy goodness mixed between the grapes and pecans! So delicious! This was some of the best chicken salad I had ever tasted. I am not sure if it should be considered a "Southern" restaurant, but it should be considered a delicious spot overall.
