Was door-to-door marketed by these guys, the long dancing around the bush preamble to the sales pitch was ridiculous, it had to be scripted or taught as no one speaks that way. Really hate this intrusive way of doing business. Had to ask multiple times to understand it was about pest control. Wouldn't have answered the door but was expecting a plumber. read more

I would love to say that they were mediocre at best but I can't really give them that much credit. We have not been happy with their service and they really don't seem to care which is quite strange nowadays. They are not the least expensive pest control company I have used. I was actually getting ready to quit Hawx pest control, but I got a call from Daniel saying that he was at my house and it was raining and would it be OK to reschedule or he could go ahead and put it down in the rain, but didn't think that it would be effective. It is the first time that I've received a call from anyone at Hawx pest control since the beginning. Danielle has renewed my faith and I'm going to keep them for as long as Daniel continues to work on my house. He was thorough. I was promised SUMMER service ONLY, and after coming home from a six-month deployment, I find out that this company has been deducting from my account throughout the fall and winter. What the hell is there to spray for with snow on the ground? I returned home in January, trying to cancel the service, and was told that I could only suspend service until the unknown 1-year contract is completed on March 20th. And what do you know, a week before the contract ends, they sneak in another service and charge my account again. I demanded a refund because I had not restored service, but they refused. I find this company to be VERY professional with great communication. They follow up after service. Everything is automated and they send you the entire report with photographs. I planted 35 tomatos, squash cucumber etc, in containers so they were very close to wet foliage, it rained a lot this week. The most amazing thing for me is that I didnt get bit one time. I'm a magnet for skeeters and I usually get bit 3-4 times before I can get from my car to the front door. It's a little expensive for my budget, but they are doing a really good job. I saw a couple bad reviews, and I thought that was very odd. I've been with Hawks 8 months and I'm very happy! Ask for Warren. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Save yourself the hassle and money and pass on this company. They charge monthly for quarterly services and then fail to perform them. Getting someone on the phone to actually assist you is a nightmare. You will spend 20 minutes talking with one rep, only to be transferred to another department and have to start all over with all the information. This will repeat with multiple department transfers. They do not refund you, only issue credits IF you keep the account open. Oh and despite taking your money for 6 months without actually performing 2 back to back quarterly services, they will still charge you a cancellation fee when you get fed up with them. I will never understand why a customer should be punished for cancelling a service they have paid for and not received. read more

Because of all the rain I started to see more and sex come inside. Usually between treatments, I never have a problem. I called and they scheduled right away and came out and worked on the inside of the house to prevent them from coming in, but took time to go around and recheck the outside of the house, even though it wasn't my actual service time. read more
