TLDR: Rescheduled without notice and a no-show. I was experiencing a serious uptick in pests inside and around my home in between routine visits. I originally called about a month prior to the next routine visit. On 8/19/2026, I attempted to schedule online but there were no open available slots for the presented time frame (2 weeks I believe.) It stated that in order to schedule I should call a number, so I did. Sure enough, exactly 2 weeks was the soonest there were any appointments. The agent claimed that wasn't normal--that you can usually find an appointment within a couple days of the call. I scheduled the soonest (9/2) with plans to check back in a couple days to try for a sooner appointment. After waiting a few days, I call again. (It doesn't help that it is evident that customer service/scheduling staff are in a call center, likely not in a US time zone) this particular agent tried to push my date further back. When I reiterated I want to see what is available sooner, she scheduled one day earlier(which I couldn't make work) without confirming with me first. I was placed on hold again, but prior to was told that if 8/31 was not available, then my original appointment of 9/2 would stand. The call disconnected. I happened to check online the day before 8/31 to see if there were any changes. There was, however the change was that my appointment was pushed back 3 days later to 9/5 with an appointment window of 8AM-8PM Upon calling to ask what happened, all I was told was that they saw a note that said I was "rescheduled", but there was no further information. I asked about the time window and was told I'd be contacted the day before and given a more accurate time. The day prior to the appointment, nearing closing time, I'd still heard nothing. I called again and was told the window was 12PM-4PM. The day of my appointment, no one ever showed up. Being a Saturday at 4PM, there was no customer service available. I only just started my service with Hawx in June. When the door to door sales rep sold me the bill of goods with "Give me 1% of your trust, and I'll earn the other 99." I can guarantee there isn't anything that will make me want to renew once this contract is up. read more

The technicians were always polite however the service did not work for the actual pests being controlled. I still had to spray and spiders were still a problem around the property. In addition, when I requested to cancel the service they told me that someone would call me when I was already on the phone to cancel. I rarely write negative reviews about any company, but I feel people should be aware of my experience before signing up with Hawx Pest Control. I originally signed up after an aggressive door-to-door salesperson came to our neighborhood. I was overcharged for a service that, in my experience, did not include everything I was told it would. When I moved out of the property, I canceled my service. Despite this, Hawx charged me $195 for a service performed at a house I no longer lived in. When I contacted them, I was told that I had never canceled the service. Since then, I have continued receiving daily text messages demanding payment of the $195 charge. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Hawx carefully review the terms of the agreement, cancellation policy, and charges before signing up. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. read more

Earlier today, I encountered one of the employees soliciting services within our condominium community. Our neighborhood is clearly marked with "No Soliciting" signage, and soliciting on the property is not permitted. When I initially instructed the employee to leave the property, he did not do so. Approximately two hours later, I encountered him again on the property riding a hoverboard. When I asked why he had not left as directed, he denied that I had previously asked him to leave and proceeded to debate the matter rather than acknowledge the issue. You'll notice that their website is flagged as dangerous. They have a B+ rating with the BBB due to over 1,000 complaints. Their rating on Yelp is a 2.1. Why on earth would you consider using these unprofessional people? Please do not. I contacted one of the co-owners through LinkedIn today and asked that he ensure that this matter is addressed promptly and that no representatives of their company enter or solicit within our community in the future. If any representative of the company is found soliciting or remaining on the property after being asked to leave, we will contact law enforcement and pursue appropriate action for trespassing. read more

Their service doesn't control the pests and when you call to get them to come out again, it's an additional fee. When you try to cancel, they tell you that you've signed up for two separate services and it's $199 each to cancel...so $400 to get rid of their terrible service. Awful. Michael Brosso promised me and my wife he would pay my cancellation fee from my previous company and that never happened. He also told me the cancellation fee was $199- that's true for each service (I had 2). Could not get in touch with Hawx when I wanted to cancel. I emailed and texted but got no response. Was never contacted prior to the technician arriving and thus I was never home. Since May no one from Hawx has been in my house to treat it. I have used several pest control companies in the past but will never use this company ever again read more

I canceled service with this company, but they continued charging my credit card multiple times without authorization. When I contacted them, they falsely claimed I had agreed to continue service, but could not provide any proof (no contract, no recording, no written confirmation). This is extremely concerning behavior. Customers should be very careful about giving this company their payment information. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company and filed complaints with consumer protection agencies. If you are considering using this company, make sure you fully understand their cancellation policy and monitor your billing closely. read more

Two young men, very personable/persuasive - evening visit - related they were starting their own local pest control business - sounded good, price consistent with current provider - upon research this morning, this is established business based in Utah/Atlanta - first service charge appeared on bank account this morning before any service - must cancel within three days by telegram/mail to Utah office or hefty cancellation charge - called Atlanta office and cancellation was handled very nicely by that office with email confirmation - can't comment on service by this company but sales representatives were lying big time read more

Was door-to-door marketed by these guys, the long dancing around the bush preamble to the sales pitch was ridiculous, it had to be scripted or taught as no one speaks that way. I was actually getting ready to quit Hawx pest control, but I got a call from Daniel saying that he was at my house and it was raining and would it be OK to reschedule or he could go ahead and put it down in the rain, but didn't think that it would be effective. It is the first time that I've received a call from anyone at Hawx pest control since the beginning. Danielle has renewed my faith and I'm going to keep them for as long as Daniel continues to work on my house. He was thorough. There were no more webs when I got home and all of the spiders around the house were dead. He forwarded me the pictures which I haven't received in a very long time from anyone.
