I have lived in my home for 30+ years and have NEVER had an issue with rodents. This 1 x experience put me out of pocket $2,500.00 dollars to get 1 rat out of my home! I have service with another company. I called them and they couldn't address my need for about 4 days, I called another company and then Hawx. Somehow the person who answered the phone identified all the companies I had previously called. He immediately started signing me up for a years worth of this, that and the other thing! This was on a Friday. I was told someone would be out with in 4 hours...It took about 7. I was grateful for Jose when he arrived! He was kind, professional, informative and efficient. He set four traps and was on his way. I called him back on Monday because a rat had been trapped and he came retrieved it and was on his way. Another Hawx team member showed up and set me up for something I knew nothing about, then 2 other team members showed up... it was all rather a 1 right after another event and this there were "talking heads" I truly did not know what they had me signing up for. Again, I have to say that the employee BJ was extremely kind, informative and I felt relatively thorough. He plugged some spots, put mesh in others covered 1 possible entry spot. All in all I feel like both tech were at my house for no more than 3 hours...that costed me $2,000.00. I am a retired school teacher of 35 years, goodness, I do not have income for that! When my bill came I called the company and got put through to Jessica. She tried to tell me they used a lot of materials...(not $2,500.00 worth) and that I couldn't get out of the contract until next March! When I hung up from talking to her, I found that she had sent me an email saying my contract had be cancelled?! I just don't know what to do with her non-information! If I were you, I'd definitely be careful of hiring this company. I will say that I have not had a rat back in my house since this huge ordeal!!!! read more

Today was my first appointment and my service tech Terry Allen did all treatments around my property removing any spiders or wasp in my eaves and also did ground treatment for ant nests and took pictures where all treatments were done. It was worth the value of my contract read more

Just some food for thought for any of you looking for pest control services... If a Hawx pest control sales person comes to your home to sell you monthly pest control services, I HIGHLY recommend doing your homework on them before signing a service contract. Overall, the service we received in the last two years was pretty good. The technicians are friendly, thorough and fast and we never had any bug issues. However, we contacted the company in mid-September to cancel services for Oct 31, as we were moving and had reached the end of our contract and were on a month to month basis with them. I sent them written notice 6 weeks ahead. I also called to follow up thereafter, to ensure they had gotten everything they needed from me, during which it was affirmed that I had given them what they needed to finalize the account. Since that time, they have continued to attempt auto payment charges on my credit card. Upon discovery of this, I called Hawx, thinking it was just an oversight on their part. Today, a 'customer service representative' argued that I never canceled services. (Precisely why I do EVERYTHING in writing!) The 'rep' went so far as to tell me it was required that I send a lease or closing paperwork for my new address to 'prove' that we moved...uh, NO. It's a real shame that they are giving me such a hassle at the end of an otherwise pretty good business relationship. We won't be using them again solely over what should have been a normal conclusion of services. Very disappointing. read more

They get their money but I don't get services why should I have to schedule an appointment if you're taking my money you should be scheduling me an appointment. When I call I get an automative reply and in the middle of it it hangs up something is not right with this company I wouldnt recommend it to it to an enemy!!!! read more

Hawx was extremely responsive with good availability, and William went above and beyond to help. We initially called 3-5 local pest companies to help with with an active mouse INSIDE our home. Hawx was the easiest and quickest to schedule with, their pricing made sense and is reasonable, and William crawled under our house to close a gap next to our dishwasher where we suspect the mouse entered through. Fast forward 1 year later, and we're mouse free. Hawx also helps control exterior pests like ants, wasps, etc throughout the year. We are very happy! read more

They lied to me. Matt the man who sprayed was supposed to arrive after 230 showed up at 930. I told him I wasn't ready to leave and he said I didn't have to leave because what he was spraying was safe for people and animals. About 45 minutes later my mouth wS burning and my lungs felt like I was poised. When I got the insert I said don't spray when people were present. read more
